I've got a 2003 edition of Mizz somewhere that I bought on eBay when drunk 😭 I'll dig it out and take some pictures. It's cover star was the guy who played Spencer Moon in Eastenders lol. I forgot about Spencer Moon lol I think some of my friends used to fancy him but even back then, I thought...

I think stranger danger at that time (from my memory anywya) was literally still a stranger in the street offering you sweets, does anyone remember using chat rooms in the early 2000s? I look back and am horrified by the fact that I was 100% talking to adults who were trying to groom me. Luckily I never ended up giving my address but I came very, very close

I think it was kind of that stage in between. The internet was definitely a thing, and chat sites etc existed by then.

But that's what I mean, I never remember any stranger warnings about chat sites, I very easily could have put myself into severe danger

Honestly I don’t even think I could type some of the stuff I saw, but why were we looking at the most horrific crime scene photographs at 12? And why did they block neopets before that!

I meT my husband in a chat room 2002, wasn’t really aware of stranger danger….I was quite good at blocking people, tbh my husband was lucky that night I was blocking all night, the night we met ( I was 19 at the time)

Memory unlocked reading this lol when I was at college there was a guy who was a bit weird and it turned out he had been watching loadsss of porn while in college. I think it was another student who caught him and told everyone

I remember that storyline about Sarah Lou meeting that fella in a chat room in Corrie thinking he was 13. That would of been a good thing for schools to latch onto but I don’t think they ever did.

No one ever said anything as nefarious to me in Habbo as FB, it was difficult for them to do as if you typed any kind of sexual word or swear word it was automatically replaced with "bobba"

I just used to scam people out of furniture on Habbo Hotel with my sibling in a Real Hustle style swindle where people would bet furniture on a game of musical chairs but it was always fixed so my sibling would win
