Jada breaks her silence and seeks a peaceful resolution
I'm a man and had hair loss from a very young age, it was hell, I finally thought sod it, I'll just shave it all off (just as jada) and from that point I owned it (just as jada) no joke or comments offended me, Because I own it, I dont go around acting like it's a disability (due to male pattern baldness or by anxiety). Jada has alopecia through years of wearing weaves, self inflicted choice.i can't feel sorry for an 80 a day cigarette smoker who gets lung cancer.
If that's true, they should have removed him. But probably didn't want the optics of a black man being forcibly removed by security.... we really are eating ourselves from the inside out as a species.Academy saying they asked Smith to leave after the slap but he refused![]()
Victims of abuse often end up apologising.... just saying....Wanda Sykes, one of the co-hosts of The Oscars, was on Ellen’s show. She said one of the first things that Chris Rock did when he came off stage was apologise to her.
She asked him what he’s apologising for and he said that this moment is what everybody is now going to be talking about and not what a great job she and her co-hosts have done hosting the show

Wanda Sykes Reveals Chris Rock Apologized to Her After He Was Hit by Will Smith at Oscars
"I was like, 'Why are you apologizing?' He was like, 'It was supposed to be your night,' " said Wanda Sykes, who hosted the Oscars with Amy Schumer and Regina Hallpeople.com
I don't agree with that, Will specifically went nuts at the Oscars, live on TV and in front of his peers, he caused disgrace and embarrassment to the Academy. Can you imagine - and the winner is....... unfortunately Will Smith isn't here to accept his award cos he went nuts earlier this evening!!!
I don't think there's anyway the Academy can take any action against WS.
They would need to investigate every Oscar ever given out. Starting with Harvey Weinstein!!! And Roman Polanski!!! And Woody Allen!!!
That is really a box nobody wants to open.
DisentanglingBIB They'll use 'Cognizant un-deucing" or some other nincompoopery
I dont think he should lose his Oscar compared to much more despicable Oscar winners. If they’re going to take Will’s Oscar back then they should take all of Harvey Weinstein’s back (who deserves his even less) and all of the other disgusting men’s who still have theirs. Violence is never the answer or justified but I feel the uproar is a bit excessive at this point. You’d honestly think Will attacked/beat up Chris the way social media are (unsurprisingly) behaving. Banning Will would be the best outcome but surely they can’t do anything else otherwise it would be unfair.
So being slapped doesn't hurt? It sounds like it's never happened to you.He didn’t hurt the guy he just gave him a slap![]()
his shows for his tour have all sold out so he will definitely make money.I've not seen the photo, I'm glad I've not. I feel really sorry for Chris, especially as no one appeared to support him. I think they all rushed over to Will because he's the big star. I think if it had been the other way round and Chris had not Will, they'd all have rushed over to Will and Chris would have been removed from the event. I hope Chris Rock manages to make some money out of all of this.
I will definitely not watch anything with Will Smith in it again. His behaviour was totally unacceptable, but his carry on afterwards just as bad. The self righteous speech, partying & hollow apologies later only cement that he felt above consequence. It's nice when bad behavior has consequences, but everyone putting his projects on hold (or stopping it entirely) feels like cancel culture galore. It doesnt really fit the crime, at least if this is a permanent state.
