Oh yay another I got paid to post this type of post. Do you think ruby is experiencing amnesia and forgot there are posts she can make that don't sell anything?

While I'm bilingual English is still secondarily acquired, but that first sentence just does not... feel right

Also the irony of this screening to be on this day.

What's with these words for heavens sake. Stop putting pages out of the thesaurus into your newspaper looking porridge please Ruby.

‘Decided not to include her because she’s so contentious’…
How about, don’t include her because she was a massive cunt who caused untold misery to millions of lives?

Sorry but why is the Holocaust her niche all of a sudden? What ties her to it? Shouldn't she leave space for those of us it actually concerns? Like our ancestors or grandfathers?

I think you and many people here will make a bad comment about anything she is related with. I love this forum but sometimes I genuinely feel like ya all are talking shit just for the sake of talking shit. Like for example when she donated money to Ukraine, Ya all were like "wElL wHeRe'S thE pRoOf?" Did Jack Edwards and few other influencers that conducted the donations through livestream show you receipts? Wasn't it directly connected to the fundraiser? Besides this, I am sick of people judging her home-life without one single fucking idea what goes behind closed doors. Yeah she goes home a lot, yeah we can easily make an assumption she is a cry-baby that needs to be close to papa and mama, but now we know from her mother's poem that her father isn't exactly a fucking saint, so what if Ruby's mother needs her support or company to get through? What if Ruby is just being there for a loved one, because we have no idea how toxic her family life is and all we see is her slowly expiring in front of her bloody laptop. I am going "HELL YEAH" when ya all calling out Ruby for being a bloody liar etc, but there's always a limit to everything. Don't drag someone down just because you "need" to, you don't have to force yourself to DESPISE every single shit she does. She's a human like all of us, she has both good and bad inside of her.
When an influencer has a storied history of taking money from or for charities and either not returning it or not passing it on to its intended recipient, and lying their ass off for months so that they can keep said money, then the onus is absolutely on them to prove that they're actually donating any more money they claim to.

Don't forget, there's still been zero proof that Ruby has donated any of the ad revenue or returned any of the money she accepted in situations where she handled the money herself. For the Ukraine charity, it was the one outlier where the money went direct to the cause, and it was telling that Ruby threw together a half-assed livestream with zero fanfare and looked miserable the whole time.

In the case of the Holocaust charity, she came up with the most wildly dubious lies to keep the money. So forgive people for expecting proof when she does it over and over again, and only puts effort into charity drives when there's a chance for her to keep the money.

Other influencers like Jack Edwards or Holly Gabrielle get their own fair share of shit too, but they have their own threads for that, and while both of them have major issues, neither of them have gone to the extreme lengths Ruby has to take and keep charity money on multiple occasions, or lie so much about so many things in her content, so naturally they won't get criticised when they do charitiy fundraisers.

If Ruby did it once, realised her mistake and then apologised, returned the money and moved on, it would've been quickly forgotten. But she didn't. She lied and lied and then kept swindling charity money at every opportunity. She earned herself a scarlet letter 'C' and people are naturally going to raise an eyebrow and ask questions whenever she gets involved with another charity given her history.

We don't know what happens behind closed doors, so we only have Ruby's content and actions to go by.

So far I've seen her take money from multiple charities and lie to avoid giving it back.

I've seen her fabricate the timescales of almost all her videos to make it seem like she accomplishes far more than any of her viewers, and then respond to their comments of shock and disappointment that they work themselves ragged and still can't do as much with smug, condescending words.

I've seen her breach ad rules in almost every one of her videos this year and beyond.

But most damningly, I've seen her encourage toxic, dangerously unhealthy eating and working habits and directly advise young viewers to simply drink lots of water and eat dry snacks all day while working themselves to the bone in pursuit of daily accomplishments that physically aren't possible. And she's done this non-stop despite being directly told the harmful impact it's having and being asked to stop by people affected so many times.

There might be things going on that excuse the damage she does to herself, but there's no excuse for the toxic habits and damage she passes on to others. That's deliberate, it's done knowingly, and there's zero excuse for it. In my eyes, she's absolutely a bad person. Nobody's perfect, but Ruby often goes so far over the line to lie, cheat and steal that I fail to see how anything happening off-screen can justify that behavior.

I'd give praise where it's due for Ruby, but let's be honest, when was the last time Ruby did anything good without caveats or having to be dragged kicking and screaming to take part if there was nothing in it for her? When was the last time showcased even a modicum of effort or growth in any of her content? When was the last time her content wasn't full of lies, laziness and undeclared ads?

This is a gossip site, and a section reserved for roasting influencers. Naturally, the comments are going to be overwhelmingly negative. If you expect glowingly positive praise, this is the wrong place and you'd be better off browsing her comments sections.

Princess Ruby has blocked me from Insta for calling out her fad of sustainability. I said Miss Patina is a fast fashion brand and block it is! Keep blocking out the truth Ruby. Enjoy your hypocrisy and watching the planet burn by continue to shop at fast fashion.
Great support of women's rights too btw! :)

"This isn't an ad"

Yes, Ruby, this is an ad. You were gifted a product and chose to advertise it to people as a result. You were paid (free stuff still counts as payment with the ASA) and then showed the product off to your followers. That's exactly what an ad is.

It's just especially damning that, yet again, you chose to go out of your way to advertise something you have no interest in whatsoever (and naturally haven't bothered watching before advertising) purely because you were gifted it.

What a cretin.

I've just watched Ruby's recent video and I don't think she realises that people don't say "those were the best years of my life" just because they went out drinking? For me the highlights of uni were being free to do what I wanted, meeting people who were on my wavelength and living in a city with loads going on (things I hadn't had growing up/at school). Yes there are bad times too, there are always bad times, but a lot of it is about pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and making mistakes so that you can grow and learn from those experiences. You have to do things you're not sure about to find out whether or not you like them, not just decide that you don't like them in the first place and write people off.

It's okay to not like drinking and partying, absolutely! But not embracing your freedom is a wasted opportunity.

Jack Edwards is being paid to advertise a new Anne Frank movie.

You just know Ruby's crying herself to sleep over not being asked by Sixteenth to advertise a movie about Anne Frank after spending most of her influencer career trying to profit from the holocaust.

But unless you spend 24/7 with her you cannot possibly know what she eats. She could be snacking all day or having huge family dinners in the evening. You have absolutely no idea!
I think it's still irresponsible on her part to always show minuscule amounts of food in her vlogs and on Instagram, even if she eats more than that. Her audience is mostly made up of young and impressionable kids who might try to emulate what they see in her video, including the portions and skipping meals. If she does eat more than that, which is probably true, she should show it more openly to her audience.

Wish we had a time machine to go forward even just five years and see what became of all of them, or what they’re on their way to becoming.
I don’t think you need a time machine for this - you can pretty much guess what’ll happen to most of the StudyTubers. Holly will still be living at home, making endless videos about how she loves it (when she clearly doesn’t), how she’s got over her issues (when she clearly hasn’t) and doing nothing beyond running, injuring herself, eating vegetables and logging her family’s farts. Ruby will also still be at home and will be living out her dream of being a malnourished child-like waif, cosseted and endlessly enabled by Ma and Pa. Her dream of being the next Lucy Worsley thwarted (apparently the BBC have no interest in a ten-part series about handkerchief usage, 1872-1901) she will probably have written another terrible children’s book and will make increasingly eccentric YouTube videos promoting herself as some kind of Victoriana-loving, Miss Havisham-esque figure. Jade will be involved in an MLM-ish yoga retreat somewhere inappropriate, and will post regular self-congratulatory videos featuring her and annoyed looking locals, whom she will tactlessly describe as ‘cute’.

As a brief reprieve from the infuriating charity debacle that Ruby's caused, enjoy Mother Granger's latest "nobody asked for this story, Karen" wildly exaggerated tale of disastrous household incompetence:

"I've had a few escapades regarding soup over the years."

here-we.gif

"One time, I was minding my friend's daughter for the night and thought I'd rustle up some homemade soup for her and my two daughters. I hadn't done it before and had been happily humming away as I chopped and then stirred my creation on the hob. I added the concoction to a blender, only for it to spurt over the edges and scold my chest."

Wait...why did she add boiling hot ingredients to a blender if they'd already been chopped? And then not add a lid to the blender of searing hot food?

"I screamed out in pain and my husband's glass of red wine flew out of his hand and smashed to the floor. My friend's daughter looked alarmed. It wasn't a good moment."

Was it shock that caused Daddy Bones to hurl his glass of wine across the room, or sheer frustration that his Mr Magoo of a wife keeps getting herself into wildly improbable situations in the kitchen that cause injury and destruction? Her friend's daughter looked alarmed, having probably been raised in a home where their parents generally have better household skills than a wild raccoon.

"I said I needed to have a cold shower as I'd burned my skin and he reluctantly offered to clean up the mess. I came down refreshed and ready to complete my task. My husband was pouring his second attempt drink, after a hard day at work, when I screamed again after managing to electrocute myself touching the socket, where some soup still remained and had made it wet. My husband jumped out of his skin, shook his head at me and disappeared in the other room - with a slightly shaky hand clasping his wine glass."

She's far too stupid to have survived this long. I never thought I've have sympathy for Ruby's tax-dodging dad, but every day seems like a shrieking, slapstick Final Destination-style rollercoaster of near-death and destruction in that house as the universe tries its best to finish her off. No wonder there's always so much banging and clattering in the background of all of Ruby's videos if Mother Granger's narrowly escaping death through stupidity at every turn.

"Another time, I was preparing soup - this time to be on the safe side, just heating up Covent Garden spinach soup for my sister, nephew, my girls and I for lunch. My nephew was suffering from a cold and as he leant over to see what we were having, sneezed over one of the bowls. I left the contaminated soup on the side and brought the other bowls to the table. Absent-mindedly, I went to get my bowl and picked up the sneezed on one by mistake and only realised when I was half way through eating it..."

I mean, that's disgusting, but considering the state of their kitchen and general lack of hygiene, some sneezed-on soup can't make things much more disgusting than they already are... And what does pointing out that it's Covent Garden soup add to the story?

A new photo of Blakeney everytime she opens her phone set as her lockscreen...I don't even know what to comment on that. There's so much to say.

I just hope that regardless of the nature of their relationship or Ruby's feelings that it's mutual and Blakeney also has a similar set up on her phone for Ruby too, cause otherwise I can't imagine anybody being comfortable with that.

Mummy granger probably has so little to do that she actually looks forward to receiving a letter every week from her daughter. What do you even write in a weekly letter to your mum that's long enough to justify a letter and not a text? Surely after a life of knowing her and living a pretty standard life as a university student there isn't that much to talk about. I call my mum like twice a week and we text but mostly it's just her sending me pictures of my cat lmao
I'm going to be in a minority here but my mum and I used to write to one another once a week for the first 2 years of uni, then less often 3rd and 4th year. She had the double whammy of her dad dying a few months before I started uni, and the start of a really messy divorce (cheers dad). I think it cheered her up to get some positive mail every week. She's still got some of the silly postcards I sent at that time on the fridge, so they can't have been totally terrible.
It's easy enough to fill one side of a letter with some hilarious anecdotes (working weekends and lates in retail helped with this), and the other side replying to what she'd written in her last letter. That said, I'm not sure I'd have written as often if I'd been spending every weekend at home.

I don't think Ruby's letters would be so funny though:
"Dear Mother,
Today I drank some tea that I did not like. It was called Banana Tea and tasted of banana. How horrible. I do not like bananas. However when seasoned with some vegan honey (honey is vegan because the bees that made it are vegan) it GENUINELY tastes better.
Your only daughter,
Ruby
PS. see you tomorrow when you come to collect me at 4am SHARP. I shall get up at 5am, so please do not knock on the door before then"

Why does she always needs to use at least 3 containers to make her coffee? That would be way too much for me to wash up afterwards
What do you mean ”wash up”? It’s the Boneseses. The dishes will fester until Mummy Granger has a drunken fit of energy and puts them in the dishwasher, which will then flood and cause a minor tsunami, the aftermath of which is all the banging and yelling that’s in the background of all Roobee’s videos that she tries to cover up with loud birdsong.

I'm a glutton for a punishment, so I sat through the second half of her new video.

It's ostensibly a new day, at an indeterminate time, and Ruby is "reading" 'When I Had a Sister' while probably daydreaming about what it'd be like if she didn't have a sister anymore.

"Think of all the additional attention and presents I'd get!" Ruby probably thinks to herself, while continuing to plot a house fire.

hhh]6.png

To the right, on her laptop we see that Ruby is cataloguing all the books she pretends to read in Notion. Her overuse of Notion is nothing new, but the sheer extent to which she wastes her life cataloguing things in multiple, redundant systems is still constantly flabbergasting. This is all information she puts in Goodreads, too.

She also stresses how important it is to note down her "main takeaways" from every book, because you can't do anything just for fun, and apparently it helps her remember the book. In fairness, it probably is a struggle to remember what happens in a book if you've never actually read it.

She doesn't actually show any of these "takeaways", presumably because they'd be filled with such enriching insights as:
  • This book was big.
  • This book was heavy.
  • This book had pictures. I like pictures.
  • The cover had green on it. This reminded me of nature. Then I went to frolic in the field.
  • I saw lots of big words in this book when I flipped through the pages. I will take those words and use them at random. Big words are nice.
That or she'd just copy other people's opinions and reviews and shove those into Notion as her own.

"I just finished my book," Ruby says, despite the book being written by Catherine Simpson and this copy of it belonging to the local library.

She also appears to have a minor stroke as she visibly struggles to remember the name of the book she's pretending to have read:

hhh7.png

Ruby's then off to London, where she's chosen to dress like something resembling a normal adult for a change:

hhh8.png

After seeing that billboard, presumably Ruby had to have her mother explain to her what a "pension" is, and then what "work" means.

Ruby likely furrowed her brow, confused, then turned to her mother.

"But mummy," she probably asked, petulanty, "this "work" thing sounds frightfully hard and terribly boring. Why don't people just take money from Holocaust charities and get paid to lie about loving things they've never used, like I do?"

Ruby's mother lifted her into her lap and pinched her cheek with pride.

"Because we're more special than other people," Ruby's mother whispered, as she dotingly cleaned a giant glob of dust off her daughter's face. "But that's our little secret. Just make sure you vote Conservative to make sure the evil migrants and poor people don't come to take our money away. But that's our secret, too. If anybody asks, you voted Lib Dem."

"Yes, mummy," Ruby said, before nervously checking her bank balance to make sure the tides hadn't turned against her yet.

They're going to Fortum & Mason's for some ice cream, and Ruby's excited that they have vegan ice cream. Although with Ruby's hazy definition of what veganism is, she probably assumed that this meant her ice cream came with roast suckling pig.

hhh78.png

Ruby's solution to having a fragile, vintage copy of Dombey and Son that she claims to treasure is to continue treating it like crap, taking it with her on a trip to London with her mother for some reason, shoving it in a bag to get banged around, then wonders why pages are falling out. A Kindle edition of the book can be bought for as little as 45p. But nothing like destroying a supposedly cherished book in public "for the aesthetic".

Super-organised and ultra-efficient planner Ruby, who keeps timetables upon lists upon plans upon schedules shockingly managed to fuck up when reading the train schedule and they missed their train.

"So we got here on time and instead we've got half an hour to wait until the next one," she says, staring in contempt at the world around her. Again, Ruby's stupid mistakes are always someone else's fault.

Life advice for Ruby: If you're "on time" for the wrong train, you are not on time. Perhaps spend less time wasting hours with useless to-do lists and more time learning how to cope in basic life.

hhh788.png

hhh7988.png

"Remember to wear your mask!" Ruby scolds, her nostrils exposed, after neglecting to wear a mask herself for almost the entire pandemic thus far.

hhh798i.png

*I really want to pretend to read this!

Fixed that for you, Rubes.

Ruby rushes to justify shopping at an expensive place by saying it's "a special occasion", although aren't they all when your sense of self worth is as inflated as Ruby's?

She bought another modern copy of The Secret Garden, because her vintage copy is "ugly" and she wanted a "beautiful" one. She also bought a load of matches because her house, against the odds, hasn't been reduced to embers yet.

LG Gram laptop sightings in this book: Zero.

Trying to find a trace of dark academia content in this "dark academia days" video like:

”My first property” really grated on me. Congrats, Roobee, you were born to privilege and you’re going to continue in your privilege, oblivious to the real world, like the little tory your parents have made in their image. Go ahead and buy a second one, why don’t you, as long as the youtube cash is still rolling in.

Has someone seen her latest insta post? It's a photo dump from this week and it says "I had a tea date with my friend Vicky" and then shows a pic of Blakeney. Idk if it's either autocorrect or if she's trying to pass Blakeney as several different people, but if my friend of mine wrote a completely different name to mine I would be very confused.
