Somewhere in Scotland, a woman with a blue cardigan and resting bitch face has gone home and told her husband/wife/partner/kids/best friend/cat about the strange angry woman at the not-Harvester who kept staring at her, tried to rile her via performative PDA, and then bizarrely decided to do a bad impression of Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct just before wheeling herself away.

Omg the Big Mandy comparison is spot on šŸ˜‚ As much as I would like to make more bots I think I'm already in a grey area with taking things off Tattle, crossing over to Twitter would be disastrous. Does RSM personally triangulate people or does she send the micro-Krays out to do it for her? I'm not being kneecapped by a child.

RSM woke up and chose Violence Defend The Grift! FCC tweeted some shit including Monroe and RSM on June 20th, to which black squig replied and lit the blue touchpaper. Enjoy!

And a reply from black squig (sorry these are a bit out of line, had to snip it into smaller images that didn't auto-shrink):

I own horses and am anti hunting but even to my anti hunting mind thatā€™s a crock of shit A red ribbon doesnā€™t mean the horse is dangerous it means it needs space else it might kick your horse if you get too close

Absolutely no way would the hounds be snapping and biting at a child or any human that wouldnā€™t be acceptable hound behaviour and as for debating if she was worth rescuing again all bollocks

I can see as a child having hounds swarming around you would be frightening and I can also perceive a concerned adult asking children why they are out unaccompanied but the rest pure imagination

And just to add hounds donā€™t kill humans other than in TV dramas or active imaginations

This one is out there. It was quite a ride watching this one unfold at the time, iirc
Omg welcome wooh and thank you for the receipts, what the fuuuuuck?

Trigger warning suicide - has there been one single reported case of suicide over a British student loan? They are nothing like conventional debt - they take a % of everything over a certain amount, pause if you stop earning, and get written off after x years. The new deal is worse but even Martin Lewis says you need to see it as a grad tax rather than a loan to be repaid.

University was absolutely life changing for me and whilst my life hasnā€™t turned out as Iā€™d imagined (I was absolutely deluded and believed there was an element of meritocracy to things šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ not did I realise how obvious the gender pay gap is, how blatant sex discrimination in tech is, how disgusting mat discrimination is, that my husband would sail through all our major life events completely fine loool, the list goes on) Iā€™d do it all again as it was a stepping stone I otherwise would not have had access to. To discourage poor or WC kids from that is fucked up.

She describes in detail normal life. Ovens break. Children are annoying. You have to make decisions according to your finances. Every single person has worries and problems. She seems to think she has the monopoly on this. Then as an afterthought throws in a statistic about poverty in general as if her moan is a public service.

I think that because she's bi and all, she would like to confirm that RD is a very manly (autocorrect wanted to say "manky" but I told it there will be extended consequences) man and has pheromones of such manliness that his manly body converts all scents, fragrances, aromas straight into clean smelling manliness. And twice. Roadsidemum wants us to know this manliness twice
Roadside Dad smells of Lynx Africa.

@Wooh you really are bringing the receipts!
My absolute favourite stand out moment of the sailing club story was the part where RSM told a squiggle that she thought all the fuss about sailing taking effort was over exaggerated šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ā˜ŗ
Like she couldnā€™t throw away half a jar of peanut butter no one likes due to poor, CFS and Brexit and had like a twenty tweet meltdown over it but buying, maintaining and sailing a boat really isnā€™t much bother šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£call the priest, Iā€™m on my way any minute and I need the last rites

'I cannot recommend the food writer Jack Monroe highly enough'. That seals it, only Jack Monroe would say something like that about Jack Monroe šŸ•µļøā€ā™€ļø I actually don't believe it's Jack, they are gloves of the same feather though. Whining, tip jar rattling, glorifying violence, writing boring threads, being condescending and insulting people, disability as a personality trait, thirsting for media attention, devoid of any sense of self-awareness or humour....

I've changed my mind, it's Jack.

Really want manuals squiggle to clap back with:
Oh so you have a CAR, and can afford both audio books AND paper books?! You know I can't afford that or have space for that in my RENTED room, how dare you shove your privilege in my face! I don't care what you do on your own commute but rubbing my nose in your financial superiority is just rude.

I just want to make clear that I donā€™t doubt RSM is ill and/or physically disabled. I also want to put on the record that she deserves benefits, and, that I think the benefit system is unfairly operated to disadvantage people. I have been poor, by relative UK standards. I am incredibly lucky it wasnā€™t in conjunction with impairment that could have halted my ability to improve my situation. I have sympathy for anyone trying to bring up a family on limited means and with impairments and disadvantages.

My bugbear is the wretchedly and needless aggression. The confrontational style of ā€œfighting the powers that beā€ that I feel ultimately hinders progress. Look at Jack ranting and swearing at any journalist unlucky enough to have to host her on a news channel during the FSM voucher system. Her ā€œcampaigningā€ since SB was a baby has achieved the grand sum of fuck all. The Marcus Rashford (and mum) approach - firm but fair, conciliatory, giving people opportunity to talk, and change their mind with the appearance of dignity, shows how effective campaigning can be. He has a shit ton of money now but that does not invalidate his, and his families experience of not having a shit ton of money and who the fuck is RSM to say it does?

She is also a massive grifter who is vague enough to get a thousands raised to buy her a wheelchair. To get fines paid. To get groceries bought. All from the goodness of strangers - many of which are in similar situations to her, and therefore empathise with her situation.

Just in case people reading here think - ah, picking on the sick single mum are ya?

Thereā€™s hardly any sex in the book of ā€˜The Handmaidā€™s Taleā€™- sheā€™s just watched it on Telly. I just looked at my kindle copy and thereā€™s nothing until chapter 8 at least.
