I love that MN is full of women who apparently look 18 and turn heads with their beauty, but our hero is Shithole.

That sounds amazing. And wasting £20 in the amusement arcades in the hopes of winning said cuddly seagull, whilst the real ones lurk outside screeching :ROFLMAO:
Penny push! £20 for a 50p keychain haha.
When my Mum died in 2017 I had a range of feelings that I struggled to deal with, I was an only child and I'd now lost everyone. Even though I had DH and the grown up kids it was a weird feeling. DH bless him asked if there was anything I wanted to do and my immediate answer was Blackpool Illuminations, because that was a childhood memories of a British seaside, rock, arcades, wrapping up in a dozen layers to walk the prom. I needed it and I really enjoyed it. It's a shithole, but one that for a couple of days enveloped me in happy memories and made me feel 100% better.

Anyway, moving on from the maudlin, here's dog with his gull.....

I just can’t.
I’d be ashamed of myself if I couldn’t come up with any ideas as to how to amuse myself for 5 hours.
Read a book. Wash your hair. Have a wank.

Well, thanks to @WhyYouCry? for this one

As per the rules pointed out by @bread-pitt on the last thread, Mumsnet are only accepting registrations if you can provide:

- 3 months of pay stubs to prove your 6-figure salary
- your weight/BMI to prove your teeny-tiny figure (must be verified by three independent doctors)
- proof that your MIL is a “narc”
- proof that you are NC with above-mentioned MIL
- 6 months of grocery receipts to prove you cook everything from scratch with no UPFs
- affidavits from three tradesmen that you did not let them shit in your toilet (notarized and sealed)
- photographic evidence of your teen son’s hollow legs
- at least 3 receipts for sister wives dresses
- property tax record to prove you live rurally - with parking diagram

Should you be able to provide all of the above within 3.7 seconds, you will be invited to a live interview to demonstrate your head tilt and tinkly laugh. You will then be tested on MN posting skills. You will be automatically approved if you don’t read the OP and immediately respond with a question that’s already answered in the OP. You must use “country lines”, “we’ve lost sight of”, “kindly”, “I could never eat a whole peanut!”, “who’s George Clooney?”, and “I’ve just shown this to my DH” At least 4 times in your post

I don’t think they’re ill informed idiots on this one.

There are plenty of people who are handed council housing and a life on benefits fairly easily. And it’s easy to be diagnosed with any mental health condition you want if you’re prepared to spend a few hours sat in A&E as many times as it takes.

I know a woman who isn’t from the UK, has never worked, not contributed a penny yet has been handed a council flat and receives disability allowance for her “mental health” - which only ever seems to be a problem when she’s not getting her own way. She’s never away from the NHS either, quibbling about her meds.
Jesus fucking christ.
I'll tell you what, you take my £540 PIP per month for my "mental health" problems. Only problem is you also have to take my bipolar disorder, EUPD and agoraphobia. You also have to take my meds too, I can tell you psych meds are not a walk in the park. I haven't left my house for almost 2 years now. Do you think it's worth it? For £540 a month.

I worked full time from 16 up until I was 41, I have never dodged work until I became ill. I went from a full time salary to 0. I didn't even get PIP for the 1st 5 years, because I didn't apply for it. I didn't even get any benefits at all because I was too ill to apply and by the time I did, I wasn't eligible anymore because I hadn't paid NI in the last 2 years. But you know £540 a month.

Also, I didn't sit about in A&E to get diagnosed, I had a complete nervous breakdown, started self harming and attempted suicide. This went on for months before I even saw my GP. It was then I was referred to the community mental health team, saw a psychiatrist and then spent the next 18 months seeing a different pysch everytime until I finally got a diagnosis. But yeah £540 a month.

People like you are making life so much harder for me and others like me. I've practically stopped posting here, because whatever thread I go on or read there is someone like you casting judgement on mentally ill people like me and I am sick of it.
Words hurt, people bitching about sick people getting "money for nothing" have bought us to this point, where people like me will have nothing. I guess you'll be happy then?

Not to be too outing but I am currently on holiday in France. Mumsnetters would be in shock as I have seen multiple fat people (me & DH) and seen at least two children having tantrums in public (my children). I expected far better from a week on the continent.

That adoption shower thread has some of the most rancid cunts ‘contributing’ absolutely offensive bullshit. What utter utter shitbags.

I’m a mother through adoption. That lot can get to fuck with their cunty opinions and pontificating on a subject about which they’re entirely ignorant.

My 86 year old mum in law still cooks a roast weekly, she’s not frail and would be offended if someone stopped her cooking Christmas dinner. She’s more than still capable.
Lucky you having a MIL who cooks, my MIL is DEAD after she opened the front door to a delivery man, but you carry on bragging about your mother in law. How insensitive. Also we have an obesity crisis in this country, largely caused by roast potatoes, so I hope you and your MIL are happy with yourselves making this issue worse. Wow. Just wow.

Is a TERF meant to be an insult to anyone that doesn’t believe that trans women and biological females are exactly the same and is concerned about the safety implications of pretending otherwise? If so then save me a seat on the TERF table 🙋‍♀️

Had a look on a thread this morning about a woman who's ex had a filthy house. Her kids said it was so minging that one of them was holding his poo in cos he didn't want to shite on his dad's crap encrusted bog plus the kids came home smelling of that chip fat musty 1980s bedsit honk.

I went to click 'like' on a comment responding to one comment slagging off a reply that suggested the OP go over to ex's place with a pair of Marigolds to scrub the poor dear's toilet.

It was only then, dear reader, I realised it was a resurrected thread from last year and the comment was made by me under a different username. Feel simultaneously a right cunt but also smug with my past self. Like a shit version of Hermione's time turner but with skid marks.

Is the item in question:

A) A Ku klux klan costume with OP’s initials embroidered on the back

B) A black and white minstrels costume complete with face-paint?

C) a pair of wellies from Argos
