I think I’ve posted about this before but aside from the whole fame chasing, family neglecting aspect I think I really dislike Emmylou because when it comes to weight and food issues and her mental health, it’s like looking into a mirror.

I know I’m unhealthy, I know I need to lose weight and I know I have a seriously unhealthy relationship with food, I also know I’m doing the bare minimum when it comes to my mental health. I’m stuck in this cycle where even trying to think of getting help sends me deeper down this hole I can’t seem to stop digging. Then it makes me feel horrible for disliking Emmylou as much as I do. But I think I’m angry at her because I’m angry at myself.

And then she goes and drops $1000s on clothes and dinner and hotel stays at the detriment to her family life and ditches her kids at the drop of a hat and I think “well at least I’m not a selfish arsehole” and it makes me feel less bad for disliking her.

Sorry just a bit of self indulgent introspection. I’m not a fantastic person and I know it and I’m too scared to fix it so I’m stuck in the same shitty cycle Emmylou seems to be stuck in!

Sorry I just want to come back to this very respectfully. If you think this is a fat shaming thread for EL, I think you are in the wrong place. Gloryifying hip bones being on show is very unhealthy. Fifi is very thin and I really hope she has support and she needs for her own image/weight issues.

EL is loathed in here, not because of her weight, but because of her lies, her clothes that are 3 times too small, her lies and side stepping her tummy tuck and gastric banding surgery and telling everyone her weight loss was from walking and journalling is the issue.

Her eating out 5x per week, cooking oil filled stews and2kg potato salads while still saying she has lost weight through walking and journalling is the issue.

Sorry, but body shaming is not okay and glorifying eating disorders and unhealthy weights is not okay.

My heart is broken i just watched the story of her leaving C before the media wall. Yet the pair in front was a guy and a little girl dressed beautifully in her camel woolen coat, holding hands.
Why does she abandon her beautiful kids. Im so sad for C. She really needs her mum. The way she tried to grab onto the fur coat as this pig took off on her made me sad.

Then she tried to make convo "you have that outfit" and EL is like "yeah i did have that" and effectively eye rolled at her like "stop cramping my style and taking my attention". Disgusting.
Doesnt matter how many free tickets you get Emmylou Mccarthy, you are a terrible person inside and out and an even worse mother. Shame on you.
