I mean, see above. She is already doing it. And I compare the way she speaks to a friend of mine who has been attending a language school in Torino for 9 months. Unlike Zoey, it sounds like natural speech from a person who is actively thinking in that language and forming sentences. Not just regurgitating a Google translation.

Yep! I used to tutor her over Zoom before she moved to Torino. I'm so proud of the progress she has made, even though she struggled a lot with the fact that the school kept bumping her up to the next level when she didn't feel she was ready.
