She’s saying Chat GPT, auto subtitles are wrong and she’s too lazy to even fix that (hence her using AI in her business).
Zoey, if you still care about the environment at least a little, know that every time you use Chat GPT you are contributing to climate change. AI takes an enormous amount of energy to function.
Or do you not believe in climate change now that you’re a conspiracy theorist?
So she and Dan are moving out of Austin because it’s become “sketch” and someone broke into their storage unit and her explanation is that “when it’s time to make a move the universe will make you uncomfortable”? No, more like when life gets hard you have the privilege to pack up and leave.
Why does this plate look sad to me.
anyway it’s nice of Sofie’s parents to let Zoey and Dan come to Thanksgiving dinner. Gotta wonder what their table convo is like.
Dan seems to be pretty interesting. I imagine Zoey is content to just sit there and nod along to whatever he says and act like she’s an a-lister because he knows a few random celebrities.
I think his vintage photograph stuff is nice. His stuff about conspiracies like Paul McCartney and Kate Middleton (he didn’t take those vids down btw when she announced her illness) are pretty tacky. But you know how Zoey is about conspiracy theories
tit, I didn’t know her brother passed away, I feel sorry for her, but… is bringing up his death to promote your ebook really the move? Idk.
I noticed that Zoey privated or unlisted a lot of her old videos. One of her “greatest hits,” the starseed one, is gone.
It seems like her boyfriend has had a calming influence on her. And made it obvious that after all of these years, what Zoey was really chasing was a decent guy to share her life with. Her brother’s unfortunate passing hopefully made her realize how awful some of her videos were that talked about psychedelics healing cancer and insensitive content like that.
After looking through some of her old Instagram posts/YouTube videos I realized how many projects never came to fruition and how many times she dove head first into something (like acting college in 2020) and quit after a few months.
Grande futuro merch, language school in Italy and learning Italian, saving the sea turtles, acting school and becoming an actress, psychedelics and that podcast with a friend who she said betrayed her, the business she was going to start with a friend in Bali, the weird dieting and juices cleanses around 2021ish, Bali in general, her offshoring dreams (LOL), the book she was planning to write in Sicily in August 2023, spirituality in general, kambo, etc.

You’re right, I noticed a while back that the starseed video disappeared since one of my original posts, as well as the “recent events” one where she was trying to promote the Hollywood conspiracy theory documentary. Now I see that she also got rid of her interview with Candace Marie Fox, the lady who said pineapple cured cancer. Good for her for taking that stuff down, but does she believe it still?
Don’t forget the yacht travel TV show she was supposed to be on but turned down, for whatever reason! Her next move ought to be buying and renovating a property à la Kylie Flavell.
One of the few interesting things she’s been linked with/wanted to do and of course it didn't happen.
From a TikTok she made promoting her ebooklet on transitioning into the digital nomad lifestyle.
Why does this just feel icky to me? Even if she’s trying to honor him, it just comes across as tacky. I understand if she made a tiktok or YouTube video talking about how her grief has changed her outlook on having life goals. Why does it have to be attached to marketing materials for her business?
I searched for a gossip thread on her some time ago, but didn't find anything. I was thrilled to find this one now.
I used to watch everything Zoey was posting in her Rome days, because I also live in Italy, I'm also a foreigner here, and I could relate to her minimalism videos because I lived out of a suitcase for years. I was also watching manifestation videos at some point, as I was at the time quite desperate for certain opportunities in life and thought that, as I already worked hard on making them happen, thinking positively on top of that can't hurt (I, of course, deconstructed all of that privileged BS since then, but also got the opportunities I wanted)). so, it was fun to watch her for some time, but the first red flag for me was that cryptic training in Londond and then ayahuasca (I'm really scared of drugs and even though I don't see anything wrong in the concept now, that time it re-e-eally rubbed me the wrong way). Then her coaching career, which is basically preying on people who are desperate for a change in their lives (like I was before and, more importantly, how Zoye herself was). But then it was just one travesty after another - that stupid podcast with Lauren when they literally once said "you should not be afraid to take a leap of faith, because if you are listening to us now, you definitely were never homeless" (witch, what?!), an "acting career", "starseed awakening" and all that woo woo stuff, and "we are such big friends with Aaron Doughty" (who went batshit crazy some time before, but honestly - when a guy like him starts growing out his hair to look like Jesus, it's game over, next time we will see him in a Netflix/Prime new cult documentary). By the time she decided to sell everything and move to Bali, I was not even hate watching her. But I check in from time to time to make sure I was right - desperation and altright/red pill/Qanon and other trash deep fried her brain. It's a pity, though - if Zoey from her Rome days was still making vlogs about eating gelato somewhere, I might have even watched her now.

Welcome! I had the exact same feeling when I found this thread, because of course her videos are heavily monitored for negative comments and you will get shadow banned for using certain words. I’m glad that I had a place to share my concerns about how she was consuming too much conspiracy and Q-anon related content, and I’m glad that others have seen it too. Now a good chunk of that content has been deleted, but we remember what she has done.
Even though I still found her a little annoying back in her early Rome days (in a ditzy way, not like a “you’re immensely privileged and ignorant” way) her videos were kind of entertaining in some unexplainable sense - maybe when I see them I am reminded of the time when I was also obsessed with Italy, it gives me nostalgia for the passion I had for learning the language and the excitement I felt when I was about to visit Italy (and visit my partner who was waiting for me there). So watching her old videos has that sentimental value for me, and I can say I miss when the most annoying thing about Zoey was when she continued to say “andiamo” wrong - not when she was peddling antisemitism disguised as conspiracy.
I fast forwarded through most of this video but she plugs Ana Luisa jewelry and links them in the description but doesn’t seem to say anywhere that the video is sponsored by them?
I wanted to leave a comment urging her to learn about the environmental impact of AI, but alas my YouTube account has been shadowbanned from commenting on her videos years ago (I’m pretty sure it was when I made a comment on her old video interviewing Candice-Marie Fox about “curing” her cancer with pineapple).
Maybe someone else can remind her and tug her little heart strings about the baby sea turtles she claimed to care so much about years ago.
