I don’t like the tone of comments on here. Not trying to police just saying my opinion. If she had sold her story it would likely be published on a Sunday with accompanying pictures of Yaz at home with her mum.
Instead it’s crappy pap pics and a few quotes. Sounds to me like she was being harassed outside her home and she’s told them a few things to make them go away. Even if she did sell her story, who cares? How do you think she feels with Jakes mum slandering her name and people like Georgia claiming she was the one for him? Hell, I would probably do the same to put the record straight
And to the people who said she looks stupid to going back to an abuser, what an f’d thing to say. I suggest you volunteer in a womens shelter and learn about why so many people go back to men that abused them. I was one of them. In fact, I married a man who abused me, I had a baby with him. It’s only until he cheated on me and then threw me down the stairs when I confronted him, in front of my 9 month old daughter, that I decided for my daughter’s safety we had to leave. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever done and now it’s just my daughter and I without anything to our names living on a blow up bed in my mum’s home office

My 2pence - if she has, I don't blame her for speaking out, no matter who she spoke to or how she's done it, I cannot imagine what she must be going through right now she witnessed the horrific death of someone she cared for, she has his attention seeking side-chick waxing lyrical all over social medic claiming she was his one and only and to top it off his mum is claiming its essentially her fault as "he must have been distracted". She's being completely vilified somehow I bet she feels like nobody is on her side
Did Yaz confirm Jake was her abuser?

I think the article is done cleverly and perhaps advised by a pr company
It puts to bed any rumour that SHE was his girlfriend and that they weren’t arguing because she was asleep. Without mentioning the arguing or calling anyone liars
Mentions how happy they were which again puts to bed the arguing rumours
Mentions how she broke her own arm to try and save them BOTH.
It says everything that needs to be said to shut down any rumours without going tit for tat

The pap pictures are credited to Backgrid which usually means they have been contacted by the person or their PR agency themselves. The photos are approved and they get paid for them so she likely also gave a statement via her PR people then Backgrid sell it to whoever’s paying.
I'll pop my two pence. The article to me was to set the rumours straight - I think the lovey dovey stuff was probably to remind Georgia stay in your lane. Explaining she was asleep etc was also to remind a grieving mother to stay in her lane ( being blamed for death is not the same as the usual tit for tat these celebs get into). As a mother and my daughter was in that situation I would probably suggest one interview and get to recovering. We want her to say how many mistakes she's made and how she put her life in danger but we aren't going to get that. We hope when she does come back she has grown and we see she changes her type of man & friends- that's growth. To me it will be interesting to see how the following months go. The girl watched someone die two weeks ago some people need to relax themselves.
She didn’t say but there was something in the article saying speeding was to blame for the accident so I personally thought this was to dispel any drink driving rumours cos they have been rife… also would find it very strange if she was sleeping at the time of the accident knowing he had been drinking.

Personally if I had just been in a car crash that killed someone I loved I would be terrified to step foot in a car, she also says she has good and bad days it’s only been 2 weeks just find the whole thing bizarre !

You can’t say how you would act until you are in that situation. Grief and trauma can do very strange things, she may still be in complete denial which is normal. I don’t think we can judge a girl who crawled up a hillside with a severed artery in order to get help for her friend/boyfriend. She could have bled out and dyed.
If there were rumours about me having my arm amputated I would want to show that it was a lie too
If Jake was Yaz's partner why did he invite Georgia to Turkey then ?, and I don't really believe she was sleeping
The witness said last week she said my friend is dead while waving him down .. now she said she didn’t know if he was alive or not when she went to get help
She is confusing in her story because she called him her boyfriend but also said they weren’t together and she had just turned up in Turkey to see him randomly and he didn’t know she was coming

I’ve never known a bigger attention seeker and someone so desperate for the spotlight.I haven’t seen anyone say she looks stupid for going back to an apparent abuser. I mentioned that she had put a video out and a big statement in March claiming she had been in a badly abusive relationship where she said she feared for her life etc and that she had used the same video post to try and sell a retreat for thousands of pounds per person to domestic violence victims and said it would help them heal. I found this disgusting and I haven’t forgot about it. I’m qualified to talk about domestic violence and know a lot about it and I also know that most victims aren’t in a position to be spending thousands of pounds to go on a retreat that someone off TOWIE is running. I always liked Yaz before that but as soon as she came out with that video about her apparent abuse and using it as an ad to profit off of vulnerable people I was disgusted in her. I wanted her to be safe and well after the accident but after she’s spoke to tabloids I find her just as distasteful as always.

No one looks or is stupid for getting back with an abusive ex or gravitating back towards them, it’s a horrible cycle people get trapped in.
I completely agree with this but I think it’s the fact she tried to profit from it before going back that leaves a sour taste. But that said, she never said it was Jake
She never said it was Jake but Lockie more or less rules himself out by saying she was very brave .. she was seen in Cove beach in Dubai getting a slap off him and that’s when this all came out.. not Yazs biggest fan I think she’s a very spoilt girl .. she falls out with everyone .. she hasn’t talked to Junaid since she got back with Lockie but as soon as they’re back talking it’s like bestie I love you rit.. Nicole is her Sissy but not talking to her now and Ella and Danni are her besties who she knows a few months .. Yaz posts her whole life on Instagram eye bleeping herself 24/7 but not 1 photo in Turkey before the accident which happened a couple of days after Lockie was pictured with Megan Barton Hanson .. and then her friends leaking they were so in love and there was going to be a proposal .. Georgias texts said he was going to be in Bodrum for the weekend it happened on Saturday night .. so a proposal of an alleged woman basher after a few days and your very in love .. she never once posted Jake in all the so called times she was with him only in December when they were both drunk ..
You’re spot on.. I feel like instead of pretending to be in love and using the word ‘perfect’ when it was most likely a spur of the moment toxic run back to him when she was feeling emotional she should’ve just said the truth that they weren’t together but she’s obviously devastated and let it be a sign really to people how toxic situations can turn out. Better yet she should’ve said nothing or done it in a more respectful way like a proper written statement online. Whether they were arguing or not, it still seemed a messed up situation. I just don’t like like the bull and because of her bull in the past and how she comes across it’s comes off distasteful and disingenuous.
