Guess crisis over for now as per the normal pattern no further mention of her issues other than how hard it is to pack correctly as off to warmer climate over Xmas but has to vacate her own home earlier due to I guess Airbnb guests arriving a few days earlier

Cannot deal with this idiot. She’s hoping that mentioning her debt will help her get it cleared like last time. She refuses to cut out unnecessary spend, constantly feels sorry for herself… she doesn’t treat herself? Hair and nails done, expensive dog breed, lots of solo holidays to say she has not support with her kids… my advice would be, buy some clothes that fit and then cut out unnecessary spend. And don’t get me started on how she blames everything on ADHD. I have ADHD but I can’t have a cleaner because I can’t afford it. I can’t have my nails done because I can’t afford it. I can’t have my hair coloured at the hairdressers because I can’t afford it.
And well done to her for surviving DV but I don’t think it can be justification for overspending? She’s insufferable. If she has any friends they need to tell her how she comes across and sit her down and help her get counselling.

So she’s posted a full debt reveal… £36,200 on “living expenses and bills” in just a few months.

She is clearly in denial if she thinks it’s an income problem not an overspending problem. It’s obviously party due to income but she should have learnt to live to her means. The cleaner that shhe justtifies as essential because she has adhd, there’s probably thousands of people with adhd that would benefit from a cleaner but can’t afford it. She needs a massive wake up call. She also doesn’t need childcare if work has slowed down

She's still in denial as she still hasn't actually checked her accounts and it's still a rough amount.

She needs to get her tit together

Agree completely. It’ll be very, very hard for her to out earn £36k worth of debt, if we’re to believe she’s on £65k (feels improbable to me but taking it at face value - but also acknowledging that’s the upper limit of her profession’s pay) then any additional income she believes she’ll earn to pay this down will be taxed at 40%, which means she needs to commit £60k of her gross to just satisfying that debt. And that doesn’t consider other deductions from gross income such as pensions, NI, taxable benefits, student loans, nor the interest rates of the balances. Nor wider macroeconomic factors such as increasing energy bills & higher base rate.

It’s shocking that she’s making financial wellness content whilst also making these decisions that demonstrate a really poor understanding of personal finance. And poor personal financial conduct. This space needs regulating ASAP.

That debt reveal is obscene! Who is lending her with no steady income 24k on a loan?

I’ve never had a loan so I’m no expert but I’d imagine the only companies lending her money with no fixed form of income are dodgey loan companies charging way over the odds interest

Reading through her comments on the debt video and I think that there’s been a fundamental misunderstanding - for whatever reason. Her fixed costs are £3/3.5k (it differs between comments, but tbf probably just due to rounding) and the debt has accrued because her income has not met that “need”

IMG_3349.jpeg

But a few things -
* debt accruing, if this was via CC it’d be easy to say oh it’s just built up… but she’s actively applied for 2 loans to fund an unsustainable lifestyle?
* If your fixed costs exceed your earning ability then yes there’s a bit of hustle what can I do how can I upskill/get a better paid job, but there are limits and you need to act quickly
* It must be really difficult as a single parent/earner, but suspect that a lot of this will have snowballed from the split as she’s still referring to what’s needed for the household/still in the same property/likely still shopping as if it was a dual income household. The loans are propping up that delusion, she needs to get onto Dave Ramsey’s content stat 🫣

She states she hasn’t checked the pennies in each account , the loans will be fixed so it’s only the credit card bill. There is no way any of what she is saying is truthful . Her debt based on what she states is her outgoings is a whole year. If she was earning £10k in her business each month then where has this money gone , if I remember at the start of the year she had 7/8k in her sinking funds . The UC people obviously saw through her as who would give up on claiming if you had those money issues. The debt will be over 40k by the time she comes back from Sri Lanka as she will be ordering food in , ubering everywhere , will have bought a whole raft of items for the plane and won’t have earnt any money the whole time away other from TikTok lives and video views.

She wasn’t, that was just turnover. As she’s selling physical goods there will be a sizeable cost of goods coming out of that, so a few grand a month.

I can’t help but wonder if a big problem for her is basic numeracy? Or just honesty?

Fully agree there are too many creators posting as a way to make money on subjects they are not qualified for . If you take Yasmine she posts videos on too many triggering subjects debt , health and weight . She was already subject of a financial conduct authority report a couple of years ago around her promoting a share schemes.
Yesterday’s TikTok about the women who took her own life just feels like she is using someone’s death to promote her own account. She says she will the proceeds from views to their family but how will she ever prove she has. There is no support of comments re stopping gifting on TikTok , her video states she always turns off but then says nearly always turns off gifting . I’m certain I have seen people gift her on lives , she has/had a like to buy her a coffee on her list of money making schemes. Does she not understand that there will be people out there watching her content who are easily led into using her links on items they don’t need but they feel sorry for her and the story she tells of being abused, illness , single mother etc etc a number of these people are probably in debt and thinking they can learn from her and use her methods but are increasing their own debt to help her. She’s smug and arrogant and uses negative criticism to gain more views and support .

What goods was she selling ? She was supposedly providing consulting on project management, selling spreadsheets, displaying adverts on her socials as an influencer .

Trip to Sri Lanka will be an interesting watch if she documents it (haha who am I kidding - of course she will!). Will they all have new clothes? Is she travelling economy? What 'hacks' or items are needed for the flight? Will there be any lounge passes bought? She seems the type of person who buys new clothes etc for holiday, pretend travelling in business class but really just bought 4 hours in an overpriced lounge. Will they just have chill time there or will they be out everyday on excursions etc.

You only have to look back at her Abu Dhabi trip last year when she was staying with these friends and how much she spent . She has no concept of living within a budget

If her company had been turning over £10k a month it would have been posted on her socials. She is not shy at telling everyone how well she is doing , like she is not shy at telling her personal issues .

Will have to search back and see. Funny really as I was first drawn to her due to budgeting and money worries myself. I came back today from a city break with my little one. We had the best time and not a credit card in sight. I budgeted/saved for the flights from jan-june. Purchase flights in July. Budget/saved for hotel and spends jul-nov. It was lovely to not use credit - first time for me and I'm so proud of myself! We ate cheap (McDonald's and Xmas market food). Had big breakfast at hotel and took pastries for snacks from the breakfast buffet. In the past everything went on credit. Not anymore and I'm so happy I'm sorting myself out.

Why the duck is she lying and saying her outgoings are £3000 When her budgets all year say otherwise

This one is Feb

In March she paid herself £5600 salary and again you can see her outgoings each month if you watch her youtube.
In one video I also saw (I think Oct) she put aside £400 for kids clubs (each child does around 3 extra activities) and said it would cover unti Dec. Now I really think that she could cut that down just for the time being to maybe one paid club and then access the after school clubs for them at a low cost.

Thankyou! Have found those videos, £800 over budget - wow. I couldnt even go £50 over budget. Just goes to show that she doesnt really live within her means/budget. I think she just does a budget to justify other stuff, dont know what but something!

It’s also having to buy earphones for kids at the airport , also not knowing how much attractions cost and saying food costs more etc . For a seasoned traveller she obviously doesn’t plan ahead and actually check what it will cost

She has made some comment to a question about her debt saying she has got most of the debt (not the first 10k) in recent months and wasn’t posting updated budgets. This must prove it’s not income related . She is a strange character trying to monetise her ex with the story about his infidelity and saying she will post more stories if there is interest. Again she justifies the holiday as she bought the tickets a year ago and it’s her friends using her house. It’s just the same excuses and reasons for any criticism.
I had to smirk as someone posted they had got out of debt by escorting
