Hmmm that video feels a bit naff and family-blogger to me, her thoughtfully leaning on a tree and staring into the distance - cringe! but people seem to lap up this shit so I guess it's a good move from them.

Not difficult enough to stop her four overseas holidays in the last months recently, including skiing in Switzerland twice in the last few months..

You do realize that being on vacation is different from being on show for many hours. If she’s tired on vacation, she can go to bed. If she’s tired during the day on a royal tour, she can’t. And she was skiing with her children on an easy trail. She could have gone to bed in the afternoon after skiing. Maybe, after everything that happened last year, she just wants to make as many memories with her children as she can.

You don’t know her medical condition—what she had that required surgery, what her situation is after chemotherapy, or what her prognosis is. People should stop judging others they don’t know personally.

I don’t think people should be judged based on their appearance. You wouldn’t tell someone who is overweight to stop eating or go get an Ozempic shot—that would be considered rude. So why is it acceptable to make comments about someone who is thin? People assume things or make up all sorts of medical conditions just because someone is slim. It’s just as rude.

She looks bloated on steroids. He’s casual for school hols. The hoo ha over them not attending the Olympics is weird. Why would they? She’s having cancer treatment. It’s their usual holiday. They just cannot please all of the people all of the time or any of the people any of the time on here 🙄

Well I have heard from a credible source a few months ago that she was indeed in rehab for an eating disorder before the cancer was discovered.
They can’t really be credible as they are betraying their profession by gossiping about a patient.

I happened to be visiting Tobermory yesterday! She looked well in the flesh, very relaxed and animated with the crowds. They took time to speak to many people.

Good for you. I'm sure if you have had cancer, you'll know that everyone's treatment is different and their bodies all respond differently too.
The only thing suss is you suggesting otherwise
Yup, having had cancer in that area too, I wasn't fit to be back working within six weeks - in fact I'd only just started chemo six weeks after my operation. My reaction to the chemo was bad enough to worry the oncologists as I even developed a reaction that they'd never seen before as well as developing the reaction they expected from my genetic lack of a particular enzyme to a level that required the chemo levels to be cut back. I'm still suffering from constant exhaustion two years on and the DWP agree that I'm still not fit to work. I also developed diabetes after I finished chemo. Unlike Kate, I put on weight as I was constantly nibbling to keep nausea at bay. Perhaps my experience is 'suss'? I'll happily show my cancer record book with all the dates and details, or even the gnarly scar down my belly.

No two bodies, two cancers, two treatments or two experiences are the same.

Just because someone is slim, keeps fit and obviously eats healthily it doesn’t mean they have an eating disorder. Just look at photos of her with her legs out playing tennis, she’s all muscle

Imagine getting so offended on someone’s behalf about something that they don’t even seem remotely arsed about 😂 wild and strange

I think the whole thing with Carol is quite misogynistic to be honest. I also think that there’s a snobbery there as well in the fact that she comes from a more working class background and that’s she was *gasps* an air hostess. I don’t think the Middleton’s were as well off as they like to make out but no different from a lot of parents in those times who had a bit of money and worked hard to get their kids ahead in life. There’s a lot of parents who strive to get their kids into those sort of schools and environments for the connections that they make there, and not all of it is with marriage on the mind. Particularly in England you’re mixing with the future high rollers in those circles. I don’t think what Carol did was anything more than what a lot of parents do for their kids. I don’t think that it was William in particular that they were lining up, but I’d also imagine that she was quite pleased when it all did happen as she did strive for her family to get ahead. When a man does that it’s seen as great. But when a women does it’s seen as a negative.

Kate's entire adult life has focused on her marrying William and becoming Queen. Of course she will never divorce him, indeed once the King dies she will effectively be the power behind the royal family, she is probably brighter than William
I do feel that these statements about her “focusing her entire adult life on marrying William” are just echos of the daily mails misogyny. They have no basis at all.

Unpopular opinion, I think Lilibet is ugly name for a girl. Lilibet as nickname is cute, but not in your government documents

It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are when it comes to cancer. It's indiscriminate and you will either live or die.
Look at the super wealthy who die because of cancer.
She may have had a more comfortable treatment period because she won't have had to queue or worry about bills etc but any parent with young children who has children will have gone through hell with a cancer diagnosis.
Money doesn't spare you from that.

What an unusual and very intimate video from them. No way was that mopping up cancer cells, she has had full blown cancer treatment.
Glad to see she's recovering well.

Any young mum with a cancer diagnosis is a tragedy as far as I’m concerned. Major abdominal surgery followed by chemotherapy is a lot to recover from, add to that the pressures of the media speculation and public interest, you wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I hope she continues to be cancer-free and eventually cured.
I don’t know for certain but she looks to be a very hands-on mum so why shouldn’t she work part time! And after all her health issues I wouldn’t blame her if she took a total step back. I know the RF are there at the taxpayers expense, but honestly I think they are so intrinsic to this country, I really couldn’t imagine the U.K. without them!

Anyone with cancer is a tragedy, I wouldn't reserve it for Mums or young Mums.

I think people also need to remember that Kate only found out she had cancer after major abdominal surgery. On top of the treatment to eridicate cancer cells found post surgery, she also faces having to adapt to whatever condition necessitated the surgery in the first place. It's obvious that she's been very seriously ill, and anyone who saw a well woman on that video needs a trip to Specsavers.

At no point has it been said that her cancer is in remission - she's just ended chemotherapy. There is an ocean between the two.

I love the video. So different but very loving and intimate and shows them in such a wonderful light. Sets the tone for what she’s saying, about focussing on the important things. I’m sure there will be naysayers but I thought it was a lovely way to update the public in their full control.

I'm sorry but that video was just nauseating. Is Kate the first woman to have cancer? Why does she need all this fanfare to celebrate her finishing chemo, all paid for out of the public purse? All the PDAs too! How on earth do people fall for this crap?!
Maybe because she is the future Queen!
