I know Sayers, I used to love their cafe in St Johns and the thick toast.Wow this is so fascinating, here's me banging on about Sayers & Waterfields and none of you have heard of it. @prinnygrace surely you know Sayers
There was a Greenhalghs in Liverpool when I was a kid!I grew up in Bolton and definitely remember Sayers, but that was years ago now! I also remember Greenhalghs too no idea if that is still going. Cooplands must be a Yorkshire thing as I've only ever seen them here! I do love a good cooplands, they've got a really good range of cakes! Prefer it to Greggs
https://giphy.com/G8xwi3ghEd02cI hate Greggs sausage rolls
Maybe Sayers & Waterfields are just a scouse/Sefton thing@watermelon sugar I'm more northern than you (by geography) and never heard of Sayers or Waterfields. We do have loads of Gregg's though. Love a Gregg's.
You cant beat Birds. Greggs is a lidl version of Birds.I remember Birds from where my ex grew up, must admit their bread is nice! Cooplands and Greggs are elite though... love all this bakery chat
