The last two days weβve been to new parks with friends. Yesterday the kids played for 4.5 hours and today 2.5 - canβt go wrong with a good park.
Weβre going away tomorrow for a few days so finishing packing this evening. My other half hasnβt packed a thing yet and heβs going for a bike ride with a mate tonight and said heβll pack when he gets home. Why do men leave it so late?!

Popped to mums to drop off a birthday cake for my brothers birthday tomorrow and now home about to make dinner (spicy bean burgers) and chill.

- Work AGAIN. Yesterday I said I wasnβt sure if I needed a new role. Well today a role came up. It happened about 10 mins as I slagged off my manager. Itβs his role (but for a different team) I got a few messages off my team saying βpeaches you should apply for thisβ so I put all that doubt I usually have out my mind and just applied. duck it. Whatβs the worst that can happen. Why do they need a CV though. Helloooo I already work here.
- Last year before Christmas little peaches had an obsession with paw patrol. He wrote to Father Christmas and asked for every paw patrol toy known to man. Father Christmas delivered and these toys are HUGE. The same Christmas he also got a Nintendo switch so he hasnβt given a tit about paw patrol since. Last night he started watching paw patrol again and today he got all the toys out and it made soo happy to just watch him play instead of talking tit about Mario all day. Hereβs one of the massive bleeping toys. No idea how Father Christmas managed it tbh.
- Got a message off a mate showing me some new clothes and realised Iβm officially old and a mother because I asked her βwill you be taking a jacket, youβll get coldβ
- I was going to go to Aldi (for the first time) to get some chocolate but I cba and my waistline can do without it so will go tomorrow in time for the weekend.
- Plans for this evening include pasta for dinner, love island and not much else.

Fatigue is kicking my butt Grocery shop came today with my much needed bar of Dairy Milk Daim Friends kids turned up to spend some time and wait for their mum to finish work. The girl brought a huge lunchbox of pasta and cheese (strange concoction) so I helped her eat some of it Had my niece and nephew for a couple of hours after more activities. My nephew (8) still plays with the stacking buckets we've kept here since my friends eldest was 2 (he's 15) Had McDonald's for dinner because nobody could be bothered to cook so my chocolate will have to wait until tomorrow I'm a prune after accidentally falling asleep in the bath for 45 minutes
Itβs pretty good, not as sickly as a Caramac but reminds me a bit of them. My favourite ever was the Marvellous Creations Jelly Popping Candy though.
Hello, I havenβt updated in a while. Hope youβre all well
Havenβt got much to say really. Just been enjoying the summer holidays and keeping busy with the kids. Went on the train to visit my mum on Tuesday and we took the kids for lunch then went back to hers for a cup of tea and a natter while the boys played in her mahooooosive back garden. Then we got the train back to Glasgow and my OH who had just finished work, came and picked us up.
Had a busy few days sorting the last bits of eldestβs school uniform. Had to send some bits back because they were too big but luckily thatβs it all done, pressed and hung up ready for Monday morning (end of Scottish school holidays). My little one had his autism assessment a few weeks ago and weβll be hearing the outcome of that on Tuesday. Iβm looking forward to restarting my gym membership now that Iβll have three weekdays all to myself once the kids are back in school and nursery. Iβve never had that before.
The weather has been tit lately but today was dry so I took the kids to the park. Got there and it started pissing down didnβt it? Good old British weather. OH got in and we made homemade burger and chips for tea and just finished bathing the kids. Once they go to bed weβll watch Love Island before bed. Iβve only just started watching it this year for the first time, itβs a bit shite but for some reason Iβm invested.

Why hello there!
Ran out of stuff to do at work
Managed to invent myself a new job to do
My new jeans came and I did my hair so that I looked presentable. By the time I got home four hours later I look like Monica. It's the humidity.
Spent all day panicking that I'd go spare at the nearby shops after my assessment and binge eat/spend but I was... fine
I lie... I was great. I told myself that I wasn't going to feel guilty or beat myself up, I could buy whatever food and stuff I wanted and that I'd sort it out later and... I didn't binge buy - I ended up with two six-packs of crisps and a small bag of sweets - the rest was groceries 
Including the nicest cheese around (if you live anywhere near a Morrisons - go and get yourself the Somerset Crunch cheddar and thank me later), some nice bread and some 20% pork mince - I have some lovely meals planned
I can't remember the last time I actually had a proper, full-on binging episode - I still stress eat and overeat a bit but even that is reducing now.
My appointment went well - I will hear back from the autism assessment team in approx 2 1/2 years (there's a teeny bit of a waiting list). Mentioned my mood swings to her and she said to track them for a month and then we'll see.
Got a bus part of the way home but even then I've done 16,000 steps since 4pm so I'm dead

My friends turned up at 3.45 and left at 8pm. I am exhausted.
It's been lovely. The kids all played nicely (5yr old, 6yr old, 2x8 Yr olds and a 13yr old) so that was a miracle. We fed them pizza's and ice creams and the adults were drinking beer around a fire (except me.. I don't drink)
I now need to shower the kids, have a shower myself then chill out in front of the TV

I did one of these as part of my degree this year and then analysed it in 3000 words. The coding part got kinda fun and easy once I got used to doing it but it was about 14k words, the write up was horrific !!

Don't really have much to update you all on.
Weather is pissing me off this week. Is absolutely boiling during the day and then keeps pissing it down at night. I got caught in it the last 2 nights and got drenched right through - I'm still trying to dry my trainers out after squelching home in them last night. Planned to go to an outdoor movie night tonight but yep you guessed it looks like we might get another bloody storm tonight and I'm not in the mood to get drenched again walking 30mins home in it so think we'll probably skip it. Though knowing my luck it'll probably stay dry tonight now.
Booked a bit of a random city break for early Sept which will tick off 2 new states for us. Mr GP wants to visit all 50 states - we're on 36 just now!
