Personally I feel like Ronan could have outed Stephen. I found his tears fairly disingenuous. Would make sense to sabotage him and set his own solo career up. I honestly don’t think Louie did it. It could have destroyed the band and his money making machine.

I hated him for a long time before Stephen died, for the break up he caused as he thought he was going to be the best male singer ever and Stephen was a far better singer than Ronan would ever be and then he came out after his death and said by bro Stevie, I love you etc. No you didn't or you would not have done that to Boyzone and broke Stephens heart. You just wanted everybody to see you in a good light not the money and fame grabbing bastard you are.

I was a big, BIG Ronan fan back in the day! I think I’ve possibly told the story on here before about a 4 hour trek to his house in Swords only to be greeted by poor Gerry!

Anywho, I was obsessed with him. Gutted when he married Yvonne but kinda liked her too. Followed still through babies and marriage etc.

Since he cheated I fucking hate him. It’s like someone ripped out the gene that was palpable at the sight of him overnight. Dragging poor Yvonne and the kids round the World to save face

I watched all 3 last night. Thought Shane and Keith came across well- loved the bit at the end of their final tour when they were pissed up on stage and Ronan was fuming with them .

Not a Westlife fan but Westlife without Mark just doesn't work. Shane sounds like a bleating lamb, and the other two can't hold a tune.

I listened to it and I think this might have been AI use of his voice, not actually him singing in a studio. Sad as it would be, but I’d be surprised if he ever returns to performing or even recording for Westlife. Having his voice on there obviously elevates the song and gives fans hope he might return.
I would love to see Westlife in concert, just for the old songs alone. But I’m not sure I can take Shane audibly straining to sing that much, Kian glaring and Nicky doing…Nicky things

I doubt it's AI. What would be the point? He recently auctioned off a private wedding performance for Neurodiversity Ireland. If he's well enough to travel to a destination in Europe to sing one Westlife song live, I can't see why he wouldn't record parts of one song in a studio close to home.

Compared to the show that Take That are putting on at the moment with their Circus tour this is embarrassing. Especially when they don't get on. They shouldn't have bothered. I hope the money was worth it. I do hope that Mikey is okay though.

My husband worked with members of Brian's family years ago when he was still married to Kerry and they hated her. Even before anything about her was known they hinted at her drug use then and just said she was awful. I didnt really believe at the time. They were all happy families and in the media she was fhe best mother.

My mam used to work with someone who did security for Westlife and apparently both Kerry and Brian were on drugs at their wedding reception.

5ive had some real bangers. I'd rather go to a gig of theirs than Westlife or Boyzone, even though I do like some songs from both groups. But for concerts there would be too many ballads for me. 5five's music had some "oomph" - you can really get down to it. Plus, they wouldn't be complacent so they work harder on stage.

5ive deftinitely never became aware of how big they are/were they never let it go to their heads and it comes across in their performances
plus i would rather shag any of 5ive than Boyzone or Westlife

I’ve saw Westlife live many times. Not really since their comeback besides the initial reunion. Admittedly Shane being so rude to me when I met him twice really put me off them. Kian also had a face like a slapped arse that day so I can believe he’s a pain to work with.

But their formula for tours was too predictable. Always close with You raise me up/Flying without Wings. Medley in the middle of other pop songs. Bad dancing. Some parts which are blatantly mimed. For the price they are charging ? Eff off Westlife

The only reason I suspect it wasn’t Louis who leaked the story about Stephen is because it could’ve been detrimental to the band, and all Louis cared about was the bottom line. Stephen was one of the favourites with the girls, and at that time there was no precedent of a boyband member coming out so there was no way of knowing now it could’ve affected their popularity. Luckily it had no effect whatsoever, but Louis would’ve had no way of knowing that beforehand.

I was team Boyzone, never liked Ronan outside of being a band member though even as a child there must be something about him.

Went to many Boyzone concert and saw the original WestLife lineup as their support act in the mid-late nineties.

Back then Boyzone felt so huge i never would of thought “the shitter Boyzone, WestLife” would have become way more successful and lasted longer.

Seems to be less egos in WestLife? (After Brian the one big walking ego himself left )I grew out of being too interested in them after flying without wings, i think i became a teenager and discovered garage music i thought i was too cool or something!

Have to say i did loved seeing Mark on the masked singer recently, always seemed a really decent bloke.
