I havn't seen that - what happened ?

I’ve met Shane twice. Once with Westlife, once without. Both at album signings so you would think they would have their game face on.

When I met Westlife It was for their greatest hits album signing and they were doing a whistle stop uk tour. We were the first stop. There was about 50 girls there maybe more. We had camped out on the city street overnight in November which the lads knew as they had been tweeting about it. They turned up late. (After 12) and when we went in they were sat in silence. There was an atmosphere. If they lads had just had a big argument I would not have been shocked.
They signed the albums in silence. It was so weird. Only Nicky spoke to us and said hello. I think Mark uttered a hello as did Kian but it was very obvious they didn’t want to be there. I’m not saying I expected a really long interaction, I didn’t but it was just very weird overall. If this was me bumping into them on a night out I could understand the animosity but this was their job, they could barely crack a smile. My friends noticed it too.

The time I met Shane at his second solo album signing. This time I took my then boyfriend now Husband along. I had just had abdominal surgery so probably shouldn’t have been out but it was Shane. When we got to the front of the queue I was sore, very tired. Shane was sat at a desk signing albums and you could stand beside him and lean over ans get a photograph as he signed it. When it was my turn I asked him very politely if he could stand up so I didn’t have to lean, explained I was post surgery. He tutted and sighed as If I had just asked him to run a marathon. It made me feel about two inches tall.

I’ve met a few famous people, by far Shane was the worst of them.

So proud of my 13 year old self for taking a Mikey banner to a concert back in the 90s. I thought that Stephen and Ronan would get plenty of attention, as would Shane, so I decided to throw my support to Mikey. Even at the time I could kind of work out why he was one of the main singers on their Irish debut and then pushed to the back, I knew it was down to Ro and Ste having that more stereotypical boyband look.

I would have never taken a Ronan banner anyway, he wasn't my favourite and I find him arrogant now. The others seem quite down to earth still, Mikey is clearly struggling, I'm not surprised after the way Louis ignored him for 7 years and never spoke to him! Then in the interview Louis pretending he didn't realise he hadn't spoken to him. I knew what Louis was like but didn't realise he was that bad!

I’ve met Westlife once and Shane twice. Shane was incredibly rude both times, the second time was at his album signing. I was using crutches as I was recovering from an operation. I asked if he could stand for our photo instead of him sitting and me standing off to the side. I was polite and i was so nervous.
He looked me up and and down rolled his eyes and begrudgingly stood up.


The first time I met Westlife he was rude then too. that was at an album signing too. Westlife turned up 45 mins late, they knew they had fans camping out overnight on the streets (they tweeted about it) but the only person that smiled and said hello was Nicky. The others had a face like a slapped arse.

The fact they are touring without him says a lot. Westlife is Mark and Shane. They have always been the main two. Shane definitely has more verses in the early days. If Shane cannot or will not perform they are screwed.

Hilariously she had photos from her 21st on social media for ages until someone (ahem) pointed out they were stamped 1991 and explained it wasn’t her 21st but a friends. She just happened to be a heavily made up 11 year old who was drinking shots in an over 21s club in LA on a school night

Why would he need a parking spot outside KK house any day of the week? He fucked off to Australia and abandoned his two girls to be dragged up in chaos. I hope both girls are doing well now and have a good life, but none of that will be because of their dad or mum.

The Brian Kerry thing, why do people still go on about it like, oh poor Kerry blah blah. They were 21 years old when they got married and had kids, divorced at 25/26 - they were kids really. His kids are older than he was when he had them now. I’d hate it if I had a child with the guy I was dating at 21 too, like HATE it.

People also seem to forget, he moved back to Ireland when it became clear Kerry was on drugs, set up this whole thing that the kids would live with him and his parents in Ireland and the judge ruled it’d be best they stayed with their mum rather than stress the girls out by moving them to the country they were born in. He lost twice even though she was doing drugs in front of them. He’s taken her to court several times before as she’d stop all contact and make it impossible to see and speak to them.

They’re as bad as each other tbh, although I don’t agree with the court ruling… there’s a reason both those girls ended up back in Ireland and now spend more time with Brian.

Finished it last night, Ronan came across as a right nob, he has no guilt about essentially ending the others careers. Keith & Shane haven’t changed a bit!

I genuinely think what they need to do, is do some massive documentary where they hash things out with Brian and come back as a 5, bit like Steps. Sorry but Nicky and Kian can’t sing and they’re flogging a dead horse these days - I’m suprised this three piece tour is selling, could be down to the posters not making it that clear Mark isn’t there. But honestly, would be happy for them never to come back that be a 3.

I remember buying up to 50 copies of Westlife single CDs to stop Cliff Richard getting that top spot. Haha ended up giving it away to neighbours and people at school.

A few years ago, I was in a nightclub in Dublin and there was a vip area near the smoking area. I was after a few drinks and was just standing bear the door into said vip area. The bouncer was like "you can't go in Westlife don't want to be disturbed "

Absolute doses. Don’t think they are well liked in Sligo much either. There’s a whole set of them in the town they live in that the real locals can’t stand. All surfer, hipster guff.

Jodie is like the girl who did well at 16 and has held on to it forever, didn’t develop a personality much past it.
