Oh i love this thread😂

I can't stomach "Planet of the Apes" i cant look st the apes talking, it freaks me out. 🤮

I had a freddy kruger phobia for years, my little sh!t of a brother would come upstairs singing "One two. Freddies coming for you" however he was on The Goldbergs last year and he doesnt bother me anymore. Still wouldnt watch a film with him in it though😜

I hate rodents, the cats have a great time in the fields around us and they bring them home alive 🤮 one day the patio door was open and we ended up with a mouse under the fridge 😭as a poster earlier said, the long tails are disgusting. 🤮

I cant stand cups or mugs that are not clear or don't have a white interior , i particularly hate it if theinside is black - cant see if its dirty😵

I hate seeing people blowing on kids food😵 if the kid is not theirs, i know people who work with kids childminding etc and i cant stand it when they blow on their food.....

When my mum visits me in London, she will not get off the tube at Tottenham Court Road station because of the height of the escalator!
There was one, it might have been Leicester Square or Covent Garden, I actually closed my eyes and cried going up it. That was my first time on the tube, and we'd witnessed a fight at the previous station which involved throwing things at the train as it left. As a Northerner, this was all a bit much and the escalator tipped me over the edge 😔

People dressed as animals - Disneyland would be my hell.

Sloths. Oh yes. This used to be easy to ignore until they were stuck on every bloody item from Pjs to mugs. Used to be a video game where it looked like sloths came out and attacked you. Turned out to be like dead people so it made it 10000% times worse and I literally feel my heart stop whenever I see a sloth 🤣

Cotton wool, especially touching finger/toenails and teeth 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 feel cringey/sick thinking about it.

People scraping their nails aginst my finger nails.

Horror games where you are being chased, big bag of huges NOPES (OH made me watch upcoming ps4 game trailers and i was absolutely terrified)

Insects/spiders crawling on my skin/ flies landing on me, makes me have a full in melt down.

Daddy long legs (crane flies) 🤢🤢😭😭😭 they are absolute pure evil.

Being in the sea and something touches your legs and you cant see what it is 😭😭😭

Most of mine are food related- I spent 10 years petrified of green food, all green food. I’m slightly better now although occasionally I’ll freak out a bit.
I’m still scared of baked beans, peanut butter. Sweet corn and milk 🤦🏼‍♀️

The hairdryer overheating and blowing up as I'm using it, causing my hand to blow off and exposing the bone underneath.

Is is the texture of the foods that scare you? Is it anything specific about them? Hope you don’t mind me asking
Not at all ☺ Ask anything you like.
For milk and bananas it’s the texture, Peanut butter is the smell and how it looks. Everything else the appearance just unnerves me- makes my skin crawl.

I have a bit of a fear about mirrors. It’s probably not a full on phobia though as I can still look into a mirror I just don’t like looking when it’s dark or if I’m not prepared. I was waiting in a shop the other day for them to bring my click and collect order and the lift opened and there was a mirror inside the lift. Made me uncomfortable.
I’m also scared of the foam pit things that you get at trampoline places. I swear there must be dead bodies in there!
Also not a fan of tweedle dee and tweedle dum after they chased me in Disneyland 😂

The feeling of magazine paper, and if my nails catch it then even worse 🤮🤮

Submarines, pictures of them in the deep dark ocean freak me out

Fish.. I can eat them and look at pictures of them but not swim near them, had a panic attack in Thailand last year and boyfriend had to push me through the water and back to the boat.. waste of time going on a snorkelling trip😂

Mine's heights, which I didn't realise was as bad as it is until I said I'd do Go Ape with my nephews. Freaked out on the kids practice course and refused to go on the main one (children's version) 😂

Omg how scary is Go Ape though! I had to be rescued off the tarzan jump net on the first set 😄

This is an odd one but it freaks me out..

Those big road sweeper machines with the brushes! The brushes creep me out so much, it started at 15 ( I'm now 46 ) on the way to school and one came towards me where it was just going over the road, but it just made me feel sweaty and panicky inside.

I can't pass them nowadays, and I can recognise one just by hearing it and before seeing it start to go panicky inside.

One time I saw three doing a clean in a shopping area at a less busy time, I didn't realise I could run so fast.

I always have to run or think of a place I can get to so it don't catch up with me 😬

Other phobias I have that isn't common.

The green tops on tomatoes..it's so bad I can't touch them or pick up them with a spoon..I have to get tongs to get them at arms length.

A fork with a knife in its prongs, makes me shiver.

Cotton wool balls..not a phobia but hate the texture.

I'm claustrophobic so hate lifts for instance, not an uncommon phobia but even looking at a lift from outside where I'm ok ie say a hotel corridor, I still feel abit off just looking at the doors.

Ps..Great thread topic! ❤ x
