Had a massive blowout this bank holiday (didn't even bother counting yesterday) but did 40,000 steps over the weekend so hoping that's cancelled some of the food out! Back on it today :D

Hate yo yo on scales but have to think if I'm consistent rest week results will show.
Already done 5k steps today another 5 to do this afternoon.
Samsung health app congratulated me on notifications being more active than previous week.
I think that's why get frustrated im very active and on the whole I eat healthy just wish the pounds would come off bit faster.
Would
Another 2-3lb im 12 and half. Another 4-5 lb finally lost a whole stone
Ideally want to have lost 11lb by mid July not sure thats doable in 7 weeks but going to try as that gets me into the 11s in time for holiday and my birthday.

Absolutely dying right now. Made myself an enormous low calorie roasted vegetable and quinoa salad for lunch, probably three times the volume of food I usually eat in a meal, and I'm utterly starving 30 minutes later. I swear volume eating is a load of rubbish, my stomach KNOWS.

Did you have any protein with it? That might be why

I am back to counting today making a slimming world lasagne for dinner this evening! But sure thatโ€™s what bank holidays are for - eating a drinking ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•

Is it completely bonkers that I am seriously considering taking up smoking just so I can have an addiction that isnโ€™t food? All I think about all day is food, itโ€™s basically my only pleasure in life. The things I enjoy most all revolve around food. If I socialise it usually centres around food in some way. I look forward to eating nice meals and without that there just such a empty stretch of time every evening where Iโ€™m just trying to distract myself from binge eating ๐Ÿ˜ž Iโ€™ll make it to a couple of days and then just ruin it by stuffing my face. I have no self control!
I've got a pineapple cut up in the fridge, I just go and eat a couple of chunks when I feel the need.

Feeling bit frustrated today another day scales going up last 7days its ben 12 9 12 10, 12 11 and 1212.
Yes I had few treats this weekend
But I also walked 10 15k steps
Not gone over tdee maintainance which is 2300 so set my calories at 1800 and been 2000 to 2200 on couple days on the weekend.
Don't know if its water retention
Hormonal or constipation although went this morning before weighing.
Feel a bit stuck bit sure lower cals or Increase exercise.
One advantage half term is in doing more exercise.
Downside is feel like I'm in holiday treat mode especially with nice weather and alcohol tends to go up in half term enjoying sitting in the garden with with a beer or wine.
On the whole meals are great snacks and drinks always my downfall.
Think going have few days off not weighing at all.
Taking the tween shopping today and have walk the dog.
Managed 12k steps yesterday just doing dog walk, taking kids to park and quick trip to aldi.
Meal planned the month there a lot of chicken and trying do veggie lunches.

Did take few returns back to charity shop 1 as got some extra large fitness leggings on weekend they dident look extra large and they dident fit I was gutted.
However maybe its branding was make I had never heard of.
Took back and exchanged for another pair active leggings and top that do fit so no excuse not working out.
Also been desperate for some new denim.
Picked up sainsbury size 14 mom jeans and was ecstatic they fit yay.
Maybe i dropped a dress size however then I tried on new look size 14 jeggings and they dident fit so then felt annoyed so returned jeggings but can't wait to wear the jeans.
Found some amazing floaty tops in charity shops that hide my tummy.
So yes I feel crap about my weight and my size however making special effort with hair makeup clothes and accessories to try and feel better about myself and look good.

Are you taking measurements? Might help you measure progress in a different way.

New look are known for being on the small side, please try not to get too disheartened

I too have ate maintenance or under this week but scales have been going up (+2lb just from yesterday ๐Ÿ˜…) but due to the hot weather I've been drinking loads more water, which is likely being retained by my body rn. You're probably in the same boat

Thanks you too kind and probably right
I mean technically you would have go over 3500 over maintainance tdde cals gain 1lb if takes same to lose a 1lb a week..
Theres few days I indulged but always been under maintenance.
Last 14days lowest been is 12 9 3 days ago now back upto 12 12 this morning.
Mostly I'm 10 11 ir 10 10 its not consistant at all.
I really should measure be chuffed drop a dress size but maybe sainsbury is generous vanity sizing and new look h and m are tiny.
Would love fit into size 14s again.
size 14 jackets still snug.
feel like my efforts are disproportionate to my results if I was losing a steady 1 to 2lb without gaining few days later I feel happier.
I know I shouldn't be fixated with numbers ie size ir specific weight but I am its tough habit to break.
I remember at sw how hard was meet target lots people would yoyo and play around with last few lb to target
I need a good result soon to boost me my patience is running thin.
Trying to keep faith keep doing what I'm doing but frustrating when seen others losing larger amounts quicker some if them cal counting in insta.
Think I'm week 12 and haven't even managed shift a whole stone.
Husband answer is drastically reduce cals.
Period is not due yet so don't think its that however have read the covid vaccine can sometimes mess with people's cycles I had 1st dose pfizer 3 weeks ago.

Walked dog 7k steps already this morning and taking the tween shopping so reckon I hit 15k today.
Easier be more active when weathers nice and kids are off .
When I look at fitness app I'm really active I hot 10k steps most days and walk least 1 hour.
What I don't do is any cardio weights or high impact.
I don't feel quite ready join gym yet.
Was going try do some home workouts this week but been so hot and considering couch to 5k.

Morning everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š Done my second couch to 5k run this morning, feeling okay. Not had any noticeable drops in weight for a bit now so thatโ€™s frustrating.. just trying to have faith in the process as I know Iโ€™m doing everything right ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Morning ๐Ÿ‘‹

Finally joining this thread instead of just lurking and crying into my belly ๐Ÿ˜‚ Finally getting off my ass with a Fitbit and MFP in the last few weeks because the last year has absolutely BALLOONED me. I've got sore knees and hips just from gaining so much weight in such a short period of time and I've got to get it under control!

Thanks both of you! I work from home now and I didn't realise that before with the commute I was just naturally walking 10k steps, so that really hasn't helped on top of the boredom eating ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I'm getting into audiobooks and trying to only let myself listen to it when I go for a walk, so I've got some motivation to go out if I want to know what happens next ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hello everyone!

Joining this thread after having a baby 4 weeks ago. I started calorie counting yesterday, aiming to lose a stone and a half. Just reading through all of your lovely posts now for inspiration ๐Ÿ˜Š

Loving the Nutracheck app I got yesterday itโ€™s so easy to log food! And it links up with my Fitbit too.

Quick question... Nutracheck gives me extra calories in accordance with how much exercise my Fitbit logs. Do you eat those extra calories?

The general consensus in the thread is donโ€™t eat the extra calories as itโ€™ll help you lose more quickly, but i tend to use them as a buffer. Some days are easier than others!

Congrats on your baby! Donโ€™t put too much pressure on yourself as a new mum.

Generally I donโ€™t eat back extra exercise calories as it helps to ensure Iโ€™m in a calorie deficit. However if I get loads more on a weekend say if Iโ€™ve been on a long walk, Iโ€™ll treat myself no problem ๐Ÿ˜Š
