Oh noMy hair stylist has let me down with 4 weeks to go
sounds silly, but a hair & makeup artist is one of the most important things for me. I’m rubbish at hair & makeup and so is everyone around me! I need someone to do my hair & makeup otherwise it would all go wrong! Most of the responses were that they were away rather than booked, but I’ve tried the ones who were busy again.Oh no bless youis it worth getting back in contact in case they’ve had cancellations? Could you put something on Facebook or Instagram for recommendations? If you can’t find any maybe you and your bridesmaids could practice so they know what you are going for and can help on the day?

let us know how you get on!I’m using a lady I found on Facebook, she does artificial flowers and has some amazing packages! I’m paying £180 for bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, grooms buttonhole, 5 buttonholes, 2 corsages, flower girl wand and a large top table arrangement!

This is the kind of wedding I want! However... my partner gets so worried about offending people by not inviting them. I had to tell him he's not obliged to invite his whole work. I'm desperate to get on with planning!We’re having 4 guestswe both come from huge families but I refuse to share my day with people I don’t really care about. Then we’re having about 40 or so to a party a few days later. If the people you want there are coming that’s all that matters. Those who don’t come, maybe aren’t that important.

It does help that our venue can only take 8 for the ceremony and that we are very private people. And then that we have had so many family arguments helps
We we’re due to go on honeymoon right after too so now need to begin the logistical nightmare of finding another venue and setting a new date. Our fertility treatment was due to start post-honeymoon too so I’ve spent the day crying my eyes out Oh my god, I’m so so sorry.There’s been an incident at my venue (less than 6 weeks to go) and so it looks like our day will be cancelled

We can’t get another appointment with our local registry office within the next 2 weeks! We haven’t been able to find a venue yet either so our only option would be a humanist ceremony/non legal marriage if by some miracle we find somewhere else
What a day!I’m so glad! I thought hers looked really good and such a good price! My Maid of honour paid £2000 for her flowers I thought it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay so much especially for real flowers that won’t last! Atleast with artificial you can either keep them or sell them on!
That's mental. I could never! I managed to get bridal bouquet, 4x bridesmaid bouquets, 6x buttonholes for £190 including p&p!

I'm completely willing to spend crazy money on flowers as I love them
I'll cut back on other areas then to make it work.
