Good luck to all you lovelies getting married soon! Me and my husband married in October 2021 (was meant to be 2020 but postponed due to Covid) I can’t tell you all how much I stressed about everything I was so worried something would go wrong but our day was absolutely perfect.. enjoy planning and don’t stress xx

Not sure if it’s been asked already, but does anyone have some amazing recommendations for the highest power best ever sucky in knickers. Because I’ve just got my dress back from being adjusted and I can’t stop staring at my large round belly, it looks like I’m pregnant but I’m not, I feel very self conscious and sad right now. Should of bloody stuck to the diet I know :( please help
Hey, I don’t know if this helps but when I bought my dress I also bought some Spanx which where basically wedding ones with a little undercoat to go under my dress.. I tried my dress on pre Covid and then didn’t try it on again until two months before my wedding!(about 16 months later) Not going to lie I had to have it taken out abit however the Spanx where a god sent and really bought me in.. I did take them off half way through my reception but they helped massively x

Does anyone have any idea what a ‘virtual’ makeup trial might entail? I have one over the weekend and haven’t a clue what I’m actually expecting
I've not heard of this! Let us know how it goes, I'm intrigued!
Currently trying to put together our reception playlist, so much harder than I imagined 😂 I just want banger after banger 💃🕺

It actually wasn’t as weird as I was expecting, it was just a chat through what I like, what I don’t, my skin type, wedding theme, hair, what my dress looks like so she’s prepared for the day 🤣

Sounds ideal to me 😆 we are doing the same and I am thinking of doing themed sections, like classic party floor fillers, indie disco from our childhood clubbing days, 90s cheese, to cover different groups of guests. IMO The music part is so important, it really helps to cement memories for me.

I have hit my first stumbling block, my local register office claiming they have no availability for giving notice until the end of April. I enquired the first week of Feb 😳 and have so much paperwork to do.. literally I cannot wait that long. Interested to hear what their excuse will be when all Covid restrictions will apparently be gone in a couple of weeks 🙄

ours has told us that we can’t even book until two months before our wedding! We will be ringing a bit earlier than that though and hoping they actually give us an appointment as it is cutting it fine!

That’s crazy!! I hope you manage to get sorted with an earlier appointment. What is their reasoning behind this?

My one seems pretty unprofessional (at least two mistakes on their website, one of which I have already had to point out to them🤦🏻‍♀️) and take forever to respond. I’m stuck because my documents have to be within 6 months of my wedding date so I can only give notice from early March, but they need to be legalised in the UK, then sent to the country where I’m getting married, who won’t book me in for my civil ceremony until they receive the papers, which need to be translated as well.. I gave notice last year before Covid meant I had to postpone, so have been through all this once before, and there’s nothing online to indicate such a long lead time so I’m pretty annoyed and anxious about it. Phew, glad to get that off my chest! Sorry for the rant 🙃

They basically said that because they have a backlog due to covid, it’s better to do people in date priority. I kind of understand what they’re trying to achieve, but it would have been nice to have it ticked off earlier!

that sounds like such a pain, hopefully you get sorted soon 😩! Must be even more stressful when it’s abroad and you’ve got time constraints too!

Now I won't lie it's handy when you wanna search things but lthe majority of the questions could have been answered by google 😬😬😬😬😬
There all mad for the flip flops. What surprised me the most was the amount of ‘Extras’ people were shelling out for. Didn’t know what walking on clouds was til the other day!
