We’re having 50 in the day (that’s the minimum we can have) and then inviting an additional 70 for the evening. But around 50 of those are my partners massive extended family and they won’t necessarily all come as most of them live in Ireland, plus with us not inviting children I think that will rule a few of them out too.Does anyone else have fears of having hardly any guests at the wedding?
I have 13 cousins, who mostly all have partners & children. Altogether there’s nearly forty people there, but hardly any of them ever turn up for family events!
Most of the christenings and weddings I’ve been to, hardly any of our family have even been there!
Now I’ve also found out an auntie might be on holiday when it’s the wedding!
My partner has a tiny family and we don’t exactly have a large friendship group, so there’s not going to be loads of people there really…
Does it matter? We have about 30-33 in the day and we are inviting about an extra 75 to the night. I reckon in total, if basically none of my family come, then there will be like 60 guests at the night do…![]()
I have a tiny family in comparison so I have the same worry you do! What if no one turns up
