Got engaged a few weeks ago and the thought of going to view venues this weekend is making me so nervous I feel like I could throw up.

I’m wondering if anyone can help… I’m looking for an online and easy way to collect RSVPs. Any suggestions?
I used hitched and put QR codes on our invites. it’s worked really well for us and keeps everyone’s names in the one place.
people could also send their RSVP card back to us the traditional way if they wanted but 90% used the QR codes.

And my problematic SIL was banging about inviting her random friends that we don’t know, so I locked the whole guest list tightly.Omg would people actually do that?

There’s a gorgeous dress for a really good saving on it that I am very tempted to buy, however I’ve never went wedding dress shopping and so 1) I’m not sure exactly what suits me and 2) I do want that experience so I’m wondering if I will make a big mistake(even if the dress is gorgeous). Someone talk me down
I've bought my dress from still.white. It was my dream dress and was stalking it even before I got engaged. Got my dress no problems despite it coming from Germany and is 2 grand cheaper than if i bought in store. Despite all this, I'm still going to a bridal shop to try on dresses. Like u I don't want to miss out on the experience so I'm going to try on all styles I never would've bought e.g. leg slits, giant poofy dresses, just so I can have the experience.
For u I would reccommend going bridal.shop first rather than the order I did it in. My dress isn't that common and is quite an expensive designer, but I see a new seller selling my dress once every 2-3 months, so it feels like your dream wedding dress is like buses on that site, it's never the last one
Go do the trying on experience but ask to try styles similar to the one you’re thinking of buying! I’ve only got a few things to do like ordering confetti bags, favour bags and sorting my guestbook but I keep seeing TikTok’s and Facebook posts about people getting married around the same time as me (March 2025) saying how stressed they are about all the details and I don’t know if I’m missing stuff I should be thinking about? 
We’ve finalised our menu with the venue and we need to sort our seating chart but it’s ordered I just need to send a document to the printing company a month before our wedding, and we need to return our ceremony pack to the local authority but other than that the only other things to do are hair/makeup trials and suit/dress fittings so I’m mega chill but worried that’s because I’m not thinking about things I should be and on my wedding day I’ll be like oh tit… just me or anyone else?

I have a box of stuff but it is only one box under my stairs which has my bridesmaid boxes not yet assembled, my gifts for them, our cake toppers, confetti etc. and I don’t know what else I should have Hopefully we’re just calm people?!
Maybe your makeup artist is busy because of Christmas? She should reply obviously and you shouldn’t have to message in different places mind but hopefully she just has a lot on? Is she posting on social media still?
When are you planning on having your hair/makeup trials? I saw someone get married in April already have hers so felt behind on that but no way can I sort before the New Year obviously so I’m just leaving it for now

so honestly don’t stress! I only have that hair trial booked as my hairdresser is doing it outside of his actually job to get a bit of extra money the chancer my first dress fitting is on Friday! Tbh I think they’re just trying to get as much money out of me as possible as I’ve a fitting each month until the wedding which so many people have said to me isn’t needed! Il do this one and then maybe ask to wait until February as I don’t think I need 4 bloody dress fittings so I wouldn’t worry if I was you honestly
