Seeing lot’s of influencers hen do’s on insta has got me excited for mine now 
We are having white rose petals in brown paper cones and we’re gonna put it on every chair before the ceremony begins. I also wanted to do it only for those next to the aisle but my coordinator said everyone is so enthusiastic and loves throwing it so we’re having them for all.

I have to share what an idiot my boyfriend fiancé is. We chose the rings last week but he couldn't decide if he should go for white or yellow gold. He finally decided for white but because he's on a holiday with his boys I ordered the rings alone, payed the deposit today and everything. I just sent him font options for engraving and he hates them all so much that he wants me to cancel the ring even if we lose the deposit. He is a graphic designer and he specialises in fonts so I know he feels very deeply about this but honestly it's so silly, no one's ever gonna see it. We won't do engraving now and maybe we'll find a place that will do a custom font of his choosing later (and we'll need to pay for that). Honestly the stupidest problem anyone's ever had hahaha.

I have a daft question that is really bugging me. In the grand scheme of things, it's quite minor but it is starting to stress me out.

how do I tell someone inside the venue to hit play? (Just going to have music on a phone through speakers). Its in a village hall and I'm just going to have my dad drive me there.
When do I know to go through the door? I don't want to be too early and have booming music for another 5 mins. That would be awkward.
I feel like I'm really over thinking this but I think I'm fixating on it and can't be rational

It’s a really good question actually! I’m also concerned about all of this. I don’t even know if I have a rehearsal or anything with our wedding because it’s a civil ceremony in a hotel (rather than a religious ceremony).
I’ll actually worry I won’t know what to do and when if we don’t practice!
Omg all of these logistics have been stressing me out too! I’m quite an awkward person as it is and absolutely dreading being stood there to walk down the isle and everyone looking at me and the thought of being off time or not knowing what to do with myself makes me die a little inside 🥲🥲It’s a really good question actually! When I got married they had one registrar at the bottom of the aisle near the music and the other one was at the back with me and my bridesmaid , they indicated to each other when to start the music
Or you might have the venue co-ordinators doing this if you’re at a venue
Same! I’m such an anxious person and I’m already having nightmares about totally embarrassing myself and being laughed at. I hate being laughed at and I hate messing stuff up!

She came and collected me from my room and took me to see the registrars. My husband had already seen them so while I was in with them, she took him to the ceremony room and got him waiting by the table. She then came back to pick me up and we waited outside. I didn’t have a bridal party but assuming they would have been outside with me too. She cued the music and told me to wait for 15 seconds or so then walk in slowly.
