I’m vegetarian (I eat cheese but not eggs or dairy) and I take a centrum multivitamin every day, plus recently started taking omega 3 fish oil capsules (I know these aren’t vegetarian friendly but thought they were the lesser of two evils instead of eating fish!)

I take nothing but I really should, I just have a huge phobia of tablets, always worry they will get stuck in my throat plus can't handle the taste :(

I do as well - a tablet got stuck in my throat when I was younger and since then cant take anything too big.

Vitabiotics Vitamin D are tiny as are their vitamin B (which I just ordered because of this thread lol)
I have a multivitamin that's a gummy - they do adult versions of these now - im not sure how good they are really and they do have sugar in but they are an option

Also Better You sell sprays - they are on Amazon, Holland and Barrett - they do a vitamin D spray, multivitamin, vegan vitamin and a few others I think - all quite good!

I've just ordered the Floradix Tonic recommended on this thread too which is a liquid and looks quite good for vitamins plus iron 🙂

Ah thank you so much. I will definitely look into these after work as I really should start taking some especially for my iron levels :)

I think that is what happened to me too when I was in my teens and I have struggled since. I couldn't even stay on the pill because i would get serious anxiety about taking it everyday. The thought alone makes me want to be sick.. so weird.

I honestly completely get it. And you feel so stupid saying you're not good at taking pills but I think it's more common than you think!

Vitabiotics are about the size of what the pill used to be for me - I think there might be a pic on their amazon listing so if you struggle with that at all then I would just get the sprays better you do as they work really well tbh.

Im fine with the little pills now but anything too big and I can't do it - which seems stupid as I can shove a load of food in no problem at all 😂

You can get liquid iron if tablets are an issue ☺ Check out Spa Tone and Floradix. Spa tone is expensive but doesn’t taste of anything, floradix doesn’t taste that great so I used to immediately follow with orange juice!

I take a multivitamin and vitamin C.
I need to find a chewable version (can’t swallow tablets) of b12 and iron though. Can anyone suggest anywhere that sells those?

I don't really understand how this is the lesser of two evils? You're still consuming product made from a fish without any of the benefits of actually eating the fish? (Other than the Omega 3 obviously)

i recently bought chewable b12 from aldi, so have a look in there!

i only take vitamin d and b12 atm as I am transitioning to become fully vegan soon. When I am, I'm just going to take the Holland and Barret vegan multiviatmins as I would struggle with taking tons of tablets.

Vitamin D3
Vitamin K2
Magnesium
Edit to add, I had a severe vitamin D deficiency, a hospital Dr recommended I take these supplements. My vitamin D level started off at 6 and a year after taking these it came up to 232.

I take a vegan all in one spray (it has iron, b12, vit D)
Biotin + Selenium + vit E
Vegan flaxseed oil tablets
CoQ10
Source of life liquid Gold shot
Magnesium
It’s a lot but your health is your wealth and I look and feel better when I take them all

Surely your GP gave you a prescription and did they actually bother to find out why your vitamin D tanked that badly. Ideally 70-80 is fine for Vitamin D, 232 sounds very high.

They did but it was low dose, if I remember rightly it was called Adcal? Yes I had recently been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease so was due to that.
I did a lot of research into vitamin deficiencies at the time, people who suffer with certain chronic conditions require higher levels of vitamin D to prevent cardiovascular disease. My hospital consultant was pleased with my results.

I couldn’t take tablets for yeaaaars. Would literally make me vomit. I also had one stick in my throat and panicked.

Then once I had a really bad infection and there was no liquid alternative. I took it once, and after I could do it every time 😂. The brain does play tricks on you

Last year I had my bloods done which showed I was deficient in vitamin D. I had a course of prescribed extra strength vitamin D capsules and recently finished the course.

I’m looking to buy some high strength ones from Holland and Barrett and looking into other vitamins too but there’s so many. (I’m 27, suffer with fatigue and hormonal issues, & wanting to shred a couple of pounds for summer for reference).

Which ones do you take and why, and do you see the benefits?
I was told a few months ago i was also low in Bit D. Been taking 20,000IU Vit for 3 months at 2 a week. Can I ask did you feel any difference at the end? I haven't noticed any improvements but not sure whether I should or not 🤷

B12 every 3 months prescription
Vit D once a week , I don't know if I should be taking more 32,00 ui or something
And when I remember a multivitamin, which isn't often I must admit I should be taking daily

I have a huge issue with swallowing tablets tooI (I feel like this would be a great opportunity to make fun of my gag reflex lol). I'm on antidepressants right now, and I've resorted to taking my pills with a petit filous yoghurt :ROFLMAO: it's been working so far, so I'm going to try this method with some wellwoman multivitamins I picked up in boots today.
