I wish they would ban all travel abroad for at least 3 months, now I bet that's an UO
I haven't seen my boyfriend in 4 months so I hope not!

This country is not as racist or intolerant as some would like to believe it is. We're actually pretty accepting over here, although we're not without the usual idiot little Englanders.

If you want to see blatant intolerance, try living and working in Germany or France. I'm starting to understand why so many folk will risk a dodgy channel crossing to get here.

Japan is probably the worst place I've been for outright racist behaviour.
I think China is quite racist as well.

If your family member was in hospital you were banned from visiting, even if you wanted to break the rules. So I understand why those who’s loved ones has to die on their own because they weren’t allowed to get in the hospital are upset.
In that regard it is true and for people that were banned from care home visits. But in the same respect those people needed shielding.

I just think it's silly moaning that you cancelled Xmas caz of the rules when the MPs were having parties.

No one had to cancel Xmas, they chose too.

Also a lot of the people that had loved ones died wanted lockdowns and rules. The MPs didn't actually want to lockdown they caved the scientists and public pressure. So it's no wonder they didn't obide by them.

I’ve lately noticed on FB community groups the amount of people who have started begging for things. And then the idiots who indulge them by gifting and/or buying stuff for them.

I am talking about the same people almost every week now. It pisses me off. Where I live there are plenty of shelters, food banks and other charities so people don’t have to beg if they are in real need. I think this is the modern version of begging on the streets. bleeping shameful
Are there no workhouses!! Haha Sorry, could not resist. To me that is a community, your fridge breaks ask locally if anyone has one spare sitting in the garage, I've just put out a request for anything that can be used to make fidget blankets. Could I afford to go buy new? Yes, but everyone has old ribbons, zips, buttons etc and it's all in the spirit of reusing. It's a community thing and so many don't acutely get what a community is. I don't give to any charities anymore but do give to local things and help people if I can. I'm not going to stop that becouse someone might be scamming or taking the piss.

My time to shineeeeee...

1) Sleeping with a man on the first date does not make you "special" nor is it liberating or "feminism," it just makes you a woman who can't keep her legs closed. Have some respect and morals, no wonder men have such low opinions of women when we give up our bodies to them willy-nilly.
Does sleeping with someone on the first date also makes the man a woman?

Humans are one of like 10 species that get pleasure from sex.
Biologically humans are meant to have multiple sexual partners, the idea of monogomy and marriage was originally created as a way of keeping wealth within families. 50% of marriages end in divorce.

Why the hell do people base their morals around religious views? Why would anyone listen to morals from 2000 years ago when stoning people was an acceptable form of punishment.
I don't agree that a woman's worth should be based around how many sexual partners she has or how quickly she decides to sleep with someone especially when there is no mention of the man.
As long as two people are consenting adults and no one is getting hurt then work away 🙌
Thanks for the update Jesus 😊

We moved a group of Indian employees to Munich to work on a project. The moment landlords realised they had foreign names, they refused to rent to them. Some landlords outright said it's because they didn't want foreigners staying in their properties. I was absolutely gobsmacked.
Not sure if I have mentioned it before, but my background is South Indian catholic. The name I usually use is Indian, John is my baptismal name. Now on with the story.

Back in the late 80s I got a job in Lichfield, Staffordshire, I couldn't find anywhere to live so the company put an ad in the paper.

Got plenty of responses, and arranged to move in as a lodger with a bloke. He said it's going to be great to go clubbing, drinking etc.

A week before I move in, I realised I haven't told him that I am not white, I honestly didn't think I had to because it's not something you normally do.

Anyway I phone him and tell him I am not white (at that time I had a strong Yorkshire accent), he says that he is not racist and it's not a problem.

Yippee.

A couple of hours later he phones up and says, he is going thru a divorce and his solicitor told him he can't have lodgers.

Obviously I believed him.

The worst place in the world for intolerance, racial, sexual and religious is the Middle East. And it ain’t even close. You can be arrested for being gay, executed for changing religion, and the extent of the hospitality you receive depends squarely on the amount of money you have to spend. But hey “cultural differences”.

Anyone who thinks the UK is a hotbed of naked racism is deluded.
The Middle East is intolerant to an extent, but how long has it been since the laws changed in Britain, it is still within living memory.

As for executions for changing relegion, I don't think it is the law of the land, it's just some extremists.

In many cases they are very tolerant, you see many cases about some slut having sex on the beach or being drunk in public and they don't get the same punishment a local would.

I don't know you, but your case is different, I have seen you offering to help people you don't know on this site. So for you it is a community thing, but unfortunately many people are just on the take.

OP focuses on women only.
Now that we are in the 21st century women aren't reliant or the property of men and they can do whatever the hell they want.
Feeling randy on a night out? Sleep with whoever you want. Having sex for fun doesn't make you a bad person, just human.

Men don't like to share, back when men had all the power they shamed women into staying virgins whilst they went out and contracted syphilis.
Its a shame to see that some men and women have such outdated views..
"Please pick me. I never had a penis in my vagina" 😂.

I just hate to think someone misses out because of the few that are on the take. We have a local reuse group and it's amazing but there are around a dozen people who say yes to everything and anything. but its slowly happening that the givers are now saying won't necessarily go to the first to comment and passing those people over. Hopefully, it evens out in the end.

Internalised misogyny. Why aren’t the men who are having sex on a first date not tramps but yet the women who do are? Don’t insinuate that women wouldn’t be looked down upon if we just kept our legs closed. If that was the case women would be morally upstanding citizens in Shariah law countries and misogyny would not be existent in those places neither.

It’s also a classic male opinion, that if a woman wants to be respected she should act how men should want her to act. Yet men want women to act like whores who will do the most disgusting stuff to them whilst also wanting them to act like virginal housewives who never seen a penis in the light of a day, outside of her marital bed.

You sound like a man.

What I hate the most on those posts are:

The atrocities inflicted on the English language ie “Bran New” “Chester Draws” & so forth.

The actual responses which are usually along the lines of “Please consider me for the item *insert bullshit life story* x”

I’m getting rid of my “Chester Draws” first bleep who drags them outta my garden gets dibs don’t make this into Sophie’s choice.

The reason is simple, if a woman says I want to have sex on the first date, the bloke probably won't say no.

If a bloke says the same the lady will most probably say no. Next question please.

2) Women who go after men in relationships are the lowest of the low. I'm sorry you have daddy issues and the only validation you seek in your life is from men. Grow up.

3) People who class their pets(dogs, cats) as their children suffer from a form of mental illness. They are not your "fur baby" or your "likkle baby" they're an animal. Treat them accordingly, it scares me when people say, "I'd choose a dog(any animal) over a human any day"

I can't believe we live in a world where an animal's life is now more important than that of a human's, get a grip. This is OUR world, animal's are just in it. This is coming from someone with a dog....

4) Some of the most mean, rude and horrible people I have ever met are Nurses. A large majority all have a high level of entitlement and think because they are Nurses that they are God's gift to the world. Well here's a reality check - you're not. (Current RMN)

5) Nobody wants to be fat. End of. I don't care how much some fat people claim to "love the skin they're in" or "love their curves" they have just come to the acceptance that they will never have the will-power to lose weight, so they just accept that they will always look like pancake batter. Healthy and slim will always be the way forward.

6) Jack Grealish is highly overrated, he looks like an Eastern European male prostitute.

7) Women who are proud to be sugar babies/OF workers are nothing but glamorised escorts. They're giving up their kitty in exchange for £6.99 subscription charges and Gucci bags.

Why are we as women putting prices on our bodies that are so low, it costs more to get on a bus than it does to see us naked? Absolutely ridiculous. It is not "liberating" it is vulgar and diabolical. You'll happily sleep with a man in exchange for a pair of heels. He's pumped and dumped you but it's OK, you have a pair of Louboutins. This stems from traumatic childhood pasts and now these women only have sex as their identity. It's sad.

Want more ?
The irony of labelling all sex workers as having unhealthy relationships with sex whilst simultaneously also exhibiting a deeply unhealthy attitude towards female sexuality

The reason is simple, if a woman says I want to have sex on the first date, the bloke probably won't say no.

If a bloke says the same the lady will most probably say no. Next question please.
And what? Failing to see your point here?

Wilma, women shouldn’t enjoy sex and they are automatically disgusting and should be battered if they dare to have an interest in it.

Bold assumption. You can't generalise all sex workers with this - that's ridiculous. I reckon some women do it just because they want to and that's the choice they've made with their own body. Some women earn crazy money and they don't even have to sleep with or meet the men! If a man is stupid enough to spend large sums of money on a women he's never met then more fool him.

It’s also extremely insulting to victims of trauma especially child trauma regarding sexual abuse. Implying that they’re less than because they were abused or neglected, and the only reason they are involved in sex work is because they were abused as a child.

Why not bleeping ask why so many women have to use these options to make ends meet? Rather than just putting it down to “well they were abused and don’t respect themselves and care about having a new set of heels more!”

Also! Why aren’t the men who are the primary audience not being reprimanded or ostracised for this? They’re the only reason why there’s demand for this material.

It is a system set up by men, catered for men and women are the victims of it.

Stop blaming women on men’s deviancies and ask yourself why women are left with the options to sell themselves to pay their bills and fund their lifestyle.

Disgusting attitude.

Men don’t respect women because of centuries of patriarchal feudalism, where women had little to no rights, were dehumanised and treated like property.

It doesn’t matter how much we open or close our legs - the lack of respect stems from centuries of being dehumanised. It’s unintelligent and boring to buy into that old trope. If men respected women for “closing their legs” then nuns would be running the country and virginal young women wouldn’t be groomed and abused. But that’s not the case is it.

Men chose not to respect women because of their ingrained misogyny and inability to relate to the female sex as anything other than sex objects. That’s a male problem not a female one.

Men pressure women into having sex they don't want or aren't ready for - persistence breaks restistance, no means yes, they all want it they just want to feel like they've made you work for it, they're all up for it after a few drinks.

Men then shame women for giving in and having sex with them after pressure and coercion.

WE CAN'T bleeping WIN

it's not about sex it's about shaming women, no matter what we do we are always wrong and men are always right. Too sexually adventurous you were obviously abused as a child and are damaged. Not adventurous enough, you're obviously sexually oppressed due to your childhood.

WE CANT bleeping WIN
