I'd have been more impressed if he had proposals to resolve the NHS pay disputes, cut the waiting list, repair dangerous hospitals, resolve the NHS dentist crisis .... Of course they won't happen because they can't be used in the culture wars.
Does that mean the public care more about these issues than their general health 🤔

Just watching Gove, you'd think considering the resources the BBC have at their disposal they'd run a real-time fact checking ribbon across the bottom. I swear a lot of the guff he's spouting is balls.

Lets face it ‐ never mind the state of the economy or the health service...the issue that's going to dominate this next election is whether or not our politicians can confirm that a woman is a natural born female with xx chromosomes. What a sad state of affairs.

Take back what I said about the BBC, the continuity announcer on BBC2 just said: "Don't forget, tonight at 9, The Rise of The Nazi's. Now on BBC 2, it's live to Manchester". :ROFLMAO:

For me personally even though I think all politicians are liars, if they can't say a woman is an adult human female and categorically does not have pen then how can you believe anything that comes out of their mouths.

Magda Goebbels is giving her speech just now, what a hideous individual.
I really dislike her.

How absolutely depressing. Priti dancing with Farage. MP's making stuff up about a meat tax (WTF). Susan Hall trying to accuse Sadiq Khan of antisemitism (after she remembered she is a Conservative and not Labour) and loonies trying to tell us 15 minute cities mean we won't be allowed out of our boundaries. 🤪

THESE PEOPLE ARE IN CHARGE !!! 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬

( Colin From Portsmouth was very funny though - that cheered me up)

The big corporations and financial houses are the ones who are really in charge I think, the ministers just do their bidding. But I feel your frustrations! It's very depressing. At least you can vent here! :)

They will use anything from culture wars - manufactured or not - to try to distract people from the issues they face because of this highly uncompetent government. Since Johnson (at least), they seem like to be less a government than a compaining party. It's like they know they won't solve any real issue so they have to distract as much as they can. They just make noise on a daily basis with controversial/inflammatory statements, with proposals that have no chance of success in the real world (they never present any detailled plan on how they want to implement things, which should be the ministers's job), that will fill the headlines. Rince and repeat and that's a summary of the last 4 years.

They have zero respect for british citizens. The whole electoral system needs to be reviewed. Having only two politcal parties that can be in power make them complacent. It's also highly frustrating for voters. People have the feeling they only have two options when voting: bad or very bad.

Spot on, no political party is really in power, I think this day and age of politicians are particularly bad, nothing will change whoever is in charge.

Do you know what is really depressing- I’ve just spent ages trying to work out whether Magda Goebbels was Patel, Braverman, Truss or one of the other fascists. The Tories have actually turned in to the BNP.
I thought the best thing about Susan Hall accusing Sadiq of antisemitism was the number of representatives from the Jewish community standing up for him - maybe all hope isn’t lost after all.

I cannot recommend Colin from Portsmouth ( Exploding Heads) enough.

I reckon that slain Sycamore Gap tree has more voting power than any Party.. Green shoots and all that...and Gemma Collins Is Still Very Upset about it.

What a shower...

I fully expect Nigel Fartage to rejoin the Tory party.

I'd be surprised. Presumably you mean after the election? I suppose that's possible.
Why would he join after the next General Election?
The Tories might try & get him on board before the GE, to try & attract as many loonball votes as possible.
He's been front & centre at this week's Tory party conference after all, dancing with the poisoned dwarf @ the karaoke.
Braverman's speech today was straight out of the UKIP/BNP songbook.
