Yes but the voter knew what type of man he was , Truss pushed the family image of a loving wife and mother I don't think we should excuse her just because she's a woman ....Boris=Tom Cat ....Liz =?

Because people are a bit of puritans and can't do the difference between sex life and work.
Imagine if she was so good at her job (totally hypothetical ) but had 10 lovers. Who cares.

If she did then she wouldn't have reversed on the tax cuts she defended merely hours earlier or try to distance herself from the decision.

Tbf people used Boris Johnson's personal life against him. Said how can he be trusted if he's a serial cheater, can't even admit to how many kids he has and is likely an absent father? Don't see why Truss can't be held to the same standards.
Yep it's the same. I don't defend her personnaly.

Defends tax cuts, then says it was all Kwateng's doing, then u turns... The lady is indeed for turning

People don't vote on your sexlife they vote on your ideals if she had 10 lovers it would show lack of commitment

She's as shallow as a puddle .

I don't think we should confuse a thick skin with balls of steel, but time will soon tell given her party is already discussing ways to remove her.

It's not my thing but some people are happy and love each other and still agree to have lovers or else. Morality is relative.
Yes in normal life but more is expected from a leader of a country . Take Macron for example I always imaged him to be the eternal playboy but was shocked to learn he was in a relationship with his much older teacher from age 15 (and is still with her to this day )that's both disturbing and committed rolled into one

Thing is though, by whose standards?

I also really don’t think we can blame Macron as the 15 year old in this situation. It’s disturbing on her end, he was a child.

Yeah that’s what I mean but his commitment holds strong

If their decisions are not neutral.
It is unlikely the will be neutral in politics given the nature of the game. Everyone of those morons in the cabinet is there not because they are particularly knowledgable or talented regarding the position they have been given but because they were playing 'you scratch my back I scratch yours' with a good hand during the leadership election. When everything hinges on favours I think it would be unlikely sex could be kept completelt seperate, by the same sort of people who keep groping others at work events and browsing porn in the Commons.

It all feels very 1995 to me. I can see labour doing another 97.

I don't think they're started dating when he was 15 though and they're quite an inseparable couple.
For once we don't have a president that cheats on his wife apparently
The worst for that was probably Mitterand. Him (and his wife) had a double life until his death and he had a daughter with her lover installing them in places that belong to the presidency not to him, so basically paid by the French tax payers. This was the true problem not that he had a side chick.

With a bit of luck. I feel like the tories always rode on the wave of "at least the economy is safe with us" which proved to be a massive lie lol.

Thank you for giving us a great example of the state of some of the people who are allowed to vote in this country. Many people think like Ndrangheta, they prefer slogans and rhetoric over actual substance. Either that or you are simply trolling, not sure which.

The economy was never safe with them. If Cameron had won the 2007 GE he wouldn't have staved off a global financial crisis. By all accounts when the goverment called in the top ecomonic bods about it all the response was 'we don't know, we have never seen anything like this'. The response would have been different I'm sure but the myth is always peddled as if Labour directly caused it. There are far more valid criticisms of the Blair/Brown government than that.
