Hmmmmm.
I disagree with Keir on many things politically but as a lawyer he is certainly aspirational - his career trajectory for his time especially is quite remarkable, coming from working class parents, grammar school, Leeds uni before then getting onto the most competitive law degree in the country, head of Doughty Street, relatively young taking silk. On the other hand Nigel was privately educated, didn't bother going to uni or really doing anything much with himself. Given that Tories (at least the ones I know) are always banging on about how 'anyone can make a success of yourself regardless of your background if you just work hard!!!!!' you'd think they would love Keir, not useless Nigel. I don't see how any 'ordinary people' should look up to someone who by all means was given the best opportunities early in life and pissed it up the wall.
I bet the other candidates in Clacton are now saying "Oh tit". The media circus is coming to their town now.
I guess because their other political hero is Donald Trump.
They seem to think obnoxious = down to earth.

Keir Starmer had no personal involvement with the decision not to prosecute Savile - even Boris Johnson can grasp that.

Yes. I've read many things about Kier Starmer to know he is not to be trusted and will do this country more harm then good.
I do not. I'm guessing you don't understand that barristers often have to represent people they don't agree with, particularly criminal defence barristers, and that the right to defence counsel is a basic human right. I'm also going to make an educated guess that you don't understand the cab rank rule.
