i think england have done really well. after such a tit year it would of been amazing to see everyones reactions if we did win, but they should all be so proud. getting to the final is a massive achievement alone

I’m absolutely gutted seeing some of the younger team crying broke me. So incredible what they have achieved this year and the normality is has come with after such an awful year has been just what I feel so many of us needed. Hopefully we can keep the sprits up for the World Cup next year and come back stronger

This is a young team they’ve gained confidence and experience at a high level and gone all the way they’ve done us all proud. It’s only up from here they need to take the positives and work on the negatives and hold their heads high

I don't normally follow football but what was that Rashford penalty all about? He didn't even kick it in the direction of the goal in the end, I could have kicked it better than that and I have as much talent in sports as a one legged duck

Saka was my favourite player of the tournament, and at least he had the balls to take a pen!! and i think this experience will do him good for the future, not at the moment obviously but he will learn from it. As for Rashford, that bleeping run up was pathetic, Pogba does it as well doesnt he. Just get the ball in the back of the net, dont duck about! I do question Kane as captain but at least he took a pen and it was a bloody good one as well, so i need to give him credit for that. He showed his leadership skills then. I dont understand why Sterling didnt take a pen though. I dont see how anyone could slag Saka off, and i dont see why or how the papers will in the coming weeks. He has been brilliant to watch this tournament.

That is not football. Football is tactical, stamina and speed for 90 minutes of rollercoaster emotions.
That's why we love it and why it is our national past time.
Using a game to act like a thug isn't it. My dad is in his late 60s and been football obsessed as soon as he could talk. Not once has he fought someone or damaged anything.
He's taken his kids and grandkids to matches and passed on his passion as his dad did for him.
That's what being a football fan is.
