Just a quickie - when is the best time to start BBT? During period or when I’m done?
I am intrigued by following it but I’m a little bit unsure about starting OPK just yet but wonder if it’s worthless without it?I am aware of the SMEG but my fertility window starts as soon as my period finishes. As soon as my period stops I start the OPK tests. I do follow having sex every other day. Once I get peak fertility I have sex on that day and the next day.
Maybe a very faint line!Morning ladies. Anyone for a game of can I see a line or am I trying to convince myself of something not there? We opened another one to compare and definitely thought we could see something. Currently day 25, but my cycle varies from 24-30 days

Maybe have a look at Berberine as a supplement. That’s meant to help if you have PCOS. But maybe your GP to see if they can maybe help? XJust received confirmation from my doctor that I’ve got PCOS. I’ve been off contraception for a year now. Haven’t been trying every month due to husbands job but also had months of no bleeding.. which I now have an answer for - after many negative tests and crushed hopes. I wish I didn’t wait so long to get checked, I put lack of periods down to stress etc.
I’m just a bit lost really... where do I go from here? TTC for my first child and I don’t really know what this means now, I feel a bit clueless.
My doctor explained that it can happen naturally but I also might need some help so just to keep trying... should I have asked any questions?
I don’t really know what I’m after from posting this.. does anyone have any advise of where to go from here?
It’s lovely he’s so excited! It’s hard to tell from the pic, and I know faint lines can be much easier seen IRL! Hopefully a test tomorrow will be more fruitful for youIt’s ok I knew all of this, I think I needed someone impartial to tell me. I don’t think my other half understands it totally and it’s frustrating listening to him say “yes, I see it” and I know there’s nothing there. He’s just excited, thank you though![]()
Ah thank you. Yes have had a look but again because if my age we can’t get some of the options available to you get women. There’s also only one clinic anywhere near us that offers it and it’s at least £5k per cycle plus the cost of the drugs on top. I have a couple of friends who have travelled abroad which is an option but given the current state of the world it’s probably not likely to happen any time soon nor is it particularly sensible.I’m so sorry, not only is that awful news but your partner not understanding your feelings around the matter must make it extra difficult.
Regarding funding, have you had a look at how much IVF costs at different places? Like privately? I know some places do “offers” or packages to help make payment easier. You could set up a go fund me as well, I know some people have done this to help part fund.
Either way, I wish you the best of luck!
Thank you for replying! I definitely need to be more on the ball with it.The OPKs told me I was ovulating 5 days after my period tracker app predicted ovulation. You definitely need to start tracking!
ah so exciting!!!It is an addiction isn’t itI did a first response early detection after my weird positives/negatives yesterday and the faintest (real squinter) pink line came up within 3/4 minutes so absolutely praying it’s not an evap line
it’s deffo not an indentation as my partner could see it too
still have 5/6days until due on so will test again in 4/5 days. AH.
Hey, I was on the implant before having my first baby. Got it taken out beginning of January, had my first period end of January got pregnant end of MayHi lovelies! I’m a newbie here and it’s been really interesting looking through these threads. I got my implant out this week after waiting months for my GP to book an appt. I’m just wondering whether anybody on here was using the implant prior to trying, and if so, how long did it take for your cycles to return? I’m not expecting a miraculous conception overnight lol, just interested to hear in other experiences![]()
Hahaha yeah I agreeWouldn’t it be so nice and convenient if we could just press a button to get pregnant?it would be a lot less stressful. I don’t even mind not having the sex

Good luck to you tooSame had one just before Christmas, still not pregnant. Trying not to focus on it this month so prob gonna unwatch the thread here, ridiculous, I know but find it hard when people I don't even know are announcing their pregnancies here lol
Good luck to everyone trying xx
I’ve never had any (yet anyway!) implantation bleeding but I would assume it would be positive as it’s old blood. It was brown so I think positive? I’m just not sure! I’ve never had anything like that before that I can remember. I’m due on on Wednesday so will hold out until after then to do any more tests. It would only make sense if I ovulated quite a lot later this month as thought I was looong past any implantation bleeding. I guess we shall see!
Side note on the boobs - crikey, I don’t even think they felt this heavy when breastfeedinghaving to hold them when I go up and down the stairs

I just have one sore boob strangely but it's so painful I am constantly aware of it!! Yes probably at the weekend if AF doesn't arrive beforeYep my only symptoms were sore boobs and being exhausted! Are you going to take a test soon?
thank you for sharingI had this with a blood test (unrelated to TTC) but it was actually that they prefer to give out results from a doctor. I was panicking with mine, but it turned out I had a vitamin D deficiency, so they just wanted to talk to me about it and prescribe the supplements. When something was wrong with my family member, the doctor called her straight away, so hopefully that reassures you. I've also got the NHS app and you can see test results sometimes on that, might be worth downloading to have a look to see? Sending love![]()
