I am equally as clueless but from reading old posts on here I downloaded an app (Premom) to upload the tests and it does the interpreting for you. You take a picture ‘automatically’ and it detects the test and gives a reading. So far I haven’t ovulated apparently 🤷🏼‍♀️ But should in the next few days 🤞🏻
I also bought a BBT thermometer just so I can track both aspects and again it was recommended by someone lovely on here. It’s interesting to see what’s going on in my body! Feel like time is going by so slowly while TTC though.
God I love that app. Whoever recommended it on here... thank you. It’s saved my sanity and I’m getting into a good routine with BTT too.

Hi everyone

I’m not all that sure if this falls into this category or not but anyadvice would be really appreciated.
We’ve been ttc for 6 months. I stopped the pill but hadn’t tracked anything. Periods have been every 4/5 weeks.
I’ve felt quite unwell for a few weeks but had tested positive for Covid. So put it down to that.
I had a routine blood test on Monday which included HCG which has come back as positive. Obviously very shocked but happy.
Went for a scan today as my partner and I were just too excited. I expected to be around 5-6 weeks as my last period was lighter. I’m actually 26 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️😭.
I’m a bit traumatised. Can’t really talk to the doctor as it’s bank holiday and I’m so worried that we’ve missed bloods/screening and we have not got much time to get used to it!
Has anyone else had anything like this????
Oh wow what a surprise that must have been for you both! Huge congratulations! Maybe phone your local hospitals maternity unit in the morning to get you booked in with the midwife asap x

Does anyone else symptom spot like crazy in the TWW? I got confirmation of ovulation and I’m currently 5DPO, have been really crampy and had more CM than usual.
yep, it’s so hard not to! You are so aware of everything aren't you? I feel much more chill this cycle, I’m 5DPO too. Deffo feeling a little more crampy and I think more CM. I think I usually dry up after O but I can’t be 100% 😂

Hi guys, I’ve just spoke with the nurse and she’s arranged an in person appointment for Monday to take some swabs and give a urine sample. I’m so grateful she took me way more serious than when I spoke to the GP previously. Thank you ladies for the encouragement to keep at them about it 🤞🏼
So pleased you’re being taking seriously and are happier about what’s happening. We’ve got your back 🙌🏻💕

Today my AF came and I’m now starting to think maybe I need to give up in this journey to motherhood. My husband is significantly older and I’m now thinking I’m out of time. I feel like I’m in a dark place today. I have to really think about our next move. I am genuinely not ok today. I’ve had enough the last 2 years and a bit.
Thinking of you ❤

thanks for your reply, a line is deffo there in person my camera is rubbish but I can appreciate why you can’t see it. This will be my 2nd early MC a in 3 months. I’m surprised I even got a hint of a line as apparently the first response rapid result isn’t sensitive.
I hope you get some clear answers soon, being in limbo is the worst. The spotting might not mean you're out, could you possibly have ovulated later than you think and therefore be earlier than expected?

Felt like wasting money so did a test today and it was faint, then went out to get some more types also faint! Bought packs of 2 and some digis so will do the other ones tomorrow and wait until after AF is due to do the digital! Not sure if anyone else can see it? The clear blue I did this morning and has dried darker. I did a clearblue 6 days early, boots own early and frer
I can definitely see it on the clearblue! The other 2 I couldn’t say 100% but it’s hard on pictures. Keeping my fingers crossed for your test tomorrow 🤞🏻💖

Sending love. It really is the hardest thing to see those 2 words. Hope your AF turns up or you get some answers soon. Xxx
Thank you 😘 stupidly I had convinced myself I was pregnant as my cycle has been so different. But it’s probably because I am over thinking things.

Feeling pretty down as my friend is about to give birth any second and I have to attend a mini baby shower in a few weeks with a different friend. I just feel like it will never be me.

Thank you guys ❤ I’m glad it’s not just me who doesn’t think going on the pill is pointless, I was a bit worried that maybe I was being silly the way I felt about it, you’ve definitely gave me the reassurance I needed to get back on at them about it. I will give them a call on Monday and be less of a pushover if I’m given the same doctor, since covid we haven’t been able to make appointments with specific GP’s it’s a bit of a free for all.

Thank you all again 💞
Maybe see if you can self refer yourself directly to a fertility clinic, usually you don't need a GP referral to have a consultation with them and then the clinic can arrange any tests you need

Unfortunately not, my age plus the fact that my partner already has kids means we’re not eligible
I’m so sorry, not only is that awful news but your partner not understanding your feelings around the matter must make it extra difficult.

Regarding funding, have you had a look at how much IVF costs at different places? Like privately? I know some places do “offers” or packages to help make payment easier. You could set up a go fund me as well, I know some people have done this to help part fund.

Either way, I wish you the best of luck!

Hi everyone, AF is late and still not arrived- I have worked it out properly and apparently according to a app I have downloaded I am now only 2 days late. Still no AF so I have just taken this cheapie test. There’s a faint line not even a squinter in real life! Surely it should be darker than this?? Unless I have ovulated later than I thought or implanted late?

I will test again tomorrow morning with FMU... can you see a line? Xxx
Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞💖

Has anyone experienced ovulation bleeding before? I think I ovulated yesterday as I had the usual pain lasting a minute or two (couldn’t take a OPK as I don’t have any left) but had very light pink blood/discharge after wiping too (tmi sorry!). From what I recall the only time I’ve experienced this is when I ovulated and conceived back in October (which sadly ended in a loss) fingers crossed this is my month again x

Hi guys,

I dip in and out of here so much! I try not to think about TTC too much.
I wanted some advice on the OPKs I’ve done so far this cycle.
I’ve had to work them around my shifts in work that’s why the times are here there and everywhere. But surely I should have had a peak by now or at least a high count after a peak?

would this mean I’ve not ovulated this month? My cycles pretty regular between 27-29 days I’m now on cycle day 20😞
hiya, I would say the lines on your cd16 look the most equal, it may help you to play around with how you take the photo for the app, I find if I take the picture outside of the app then click ‘upload from camera roll’ the numbers are better (apologies if you’re already doing that, if so try one of the other ways) also I have found the lighting to be really important, not too bright.

I take my pictures outside of the app and load them manually too. I find the picture to be clearer. I also put the stick on window ledge where there's natural light to try and keep all of the photos consistent!
