Does anyway gets aches and kind of cramps (don't know how to describe it) the few days after ovulation? I'm 3dpo and have had them On and off since. Im not saying its anything but I literally had it for the first time last month (cycle 15) which was strange then again this time. Anyone else get this? Ovulation is definately done as I started up the opks this month.

The clear blue tests go by date of conception, so you add 2 weeks on to what it says

I start on day 6. As I’ve had a few cycles where my fertile windows starts as soon as period is over.
Yes hopefully I’ll see a smiley face or a static smiley.

Yes I felt cramps today and then it disappears. I’ve stopped looking into cramps as it drives me crazy. I ignore them now after so many negative pregnancy test you start to ignore them..

hopefully today is just a dip in hormone and perhaps the threshold didn’t quite reach for the blank to smiley?

I would keep trying for a few more days and see if it rises again.

Those sound kinda positive?! I just feel a little bloated and slightly crampy, super dull and low. Not sure I’ve had it mid cycle before so am intrigued! Been on and off for me to notice over the last few days

Spoiler: Trigger warning: pregnancy test

I took some ovulation tests over the last few days as I was WAY too chicken to take a pregnancy test, caved yesterday morning and today (the FRER) and it doesn’t feel real!!
Yesterday was the clear blue

I feel so blessed and also so guilty being able to write this. I am so lucky and I promise I really, really know that. You guys are the loveliest community and I can’t wait to see the rest of you fall pregnant

Thank you to both! I’ve done a couple more today and the line is still there; maybe a bit stronger so I’m keeping everything crossed!

I bought the clear blue because I was hoping to see “pregnant” and somehow managed to do both tests incorrectly so they were invalid I even timed the 20 seconds so I’ll be off to Superdrug today to see if they’ll exchange for some new ones - even though it was apparently something I did wrong lol

11dpo still no symptoms other than headache I don’t think I had any symptoms with my first though so trying to stay positive xx

You are an inspiration. You are doing so so much, it really does show how unfair it is, when others are able to concieve during a one night stand, or overweight alcoholic, drug users! We will all get there in the end


How many times are we all having sex during fertile window? Once a day? Every other day? More than once a day? I’ve seen several times a day could be too much for sperm count to replenish in time.

Every other day. But once i think it’s ovulation I have sex on that day and the next.

Hi everyone

I’m not all that sure if this falls into this category or not but anyadvice would be really appreciated.
We’ve been ttc for 6 months. I stopped the pill but hadn’t tracked anything. Periods have been every 4/5 weeks.
I’ve felt quite unwell for a few weeks but had tested positive for Covid. So put it down to that.
I had a routine blood test on Monday which included HCG which has come back as positive. Obviously very shocked but happy.
Went for a scan today as my partner and I were just too excited. I expected to be around 5-6 weeks as my last period was lighter. I’m actually 26 weeks .
I’m a bit traumatised. Can’t really talk to the doctor as it’s bank holiday and I’m so worried that we’ve missed bloods/screening and we have not got much time to get used to it!
Has anyone else had anything like this????

CD 16, still getting the blank face (day 3 of using CB) I was hoping for at least a little flashy face as I feel like I have other signs, yesterday’s LH strips still low too and haven’t done today’s yet.

Just want my body to start doing something already, clearly it’s taking a while for my own hormones to start working. 19 days off the pill now and more and more conscious it could be weeks still yet. Was hoping I’d be one of those lucky people who just ovulates straight away but guess not.

Are you using the pink clear blues or the purple? The pink ones don’t do flashing smileys - just the static smiley on peak day, whereas the purple ones do flashing ones the days leading up to your peak, then the static. Just clarifying this as I had the pink ones and read on here about flashing smileys and was so confused but the pink ones don’t do that.

This may have been discussed already, what’s the thoughts on having the covid vaccine whilst TTC? Has anyone seen any proper medical advise about it online?

Apparently I have an underlying condition (not sure what lol, maybe a heart murmur?!) so I’m able to get the vaccine but I’m in 2 minds as it’s not been thoroughly tested.

I will probably have it when it’s my time. One of my best friends is a nurse and is also TTC and has had her vaccine. She didn’t have any concerns so that’s reassured me a lot

These are the tests I took at 5am, very happy but scared! Just praying it works out this time as I'm nearing my would have been due date I'm not due on until tomorrow so won't count my chickens x

Barely any time at all, it’s been 3 months. I’ve honestly got to remember that when I came off the pill at 30, it took me 9 months to fall pregnant and I had a miscarriage. And then another. Then another 7 months and I fell pregnant with my son.

My husband didn’t want children with a close age gap, he has 5 years between him and his siblings and said it worked for him, meanwhile I have no siblings and I wanted children close together. It’s been a bit of a bone of contention between us both.

No worries. I’m rooting for you! How many sticks did you get? They say that you can test again in the day once you get your flashing - what I would do (if you think your CM is getting closer to fertile) is do a strip this afternoon, see how that looks and then if it looks slightly darker, use the CB digi, and then use again tomorrow with FMU. Usually you would start around CD9 to create a baseline but I would probably see no harm in testing this morning, and perhaps later on to create a baseline if you’re on CD14.

The worst case is that you might run out of sticks but as long as you stick with the same reader, you can buy more tests. Can work out pricey but worth it perhaps x

Thank you I got 10 with it, but I was thinking I’ll need more for next cycle anyway. Since my LH tests have been super low thus far maybe it won’t hurt to have done it this morning, I didn’t realise that was why they said to start on a specific day, I just figured it was to make sure you caught it will read up more in future before I start having a dramatic episode to my husband over the result

I have some more FRERs and a clear blue digital pack. Do I have to do them in the morning?

I think your pretty earlier. So your HCG levels will not be as high.
The highest concentration is in the morning. So my advise would be test in the morning.

I’ve ordered the easy @ home OPKs, they arrived today , think I will track with both for the rest of the cycle for consistency. According to Premom i should ovulate today, had the highest result ever on an OPK yesterday which was a measly 0.25 feel so fed up. I’m on CD20 with no sign of a real peak. Really hoped we would get it right this cycle but it doesn’t look like I’m ovulating

Im so worried at this point. My cycles are normally 33 days with short AF (2 days)- does anyone else have long-ish cycles and ovulate late?

My MC was in March and it looks like my period is returning now which is great. So we'll be back to organised sex....my husbands most hated thing. My advice would be to also make sure you do it a couple of times when you're not TTC in the month too...that way they don't think you're just doing it to conceive and you're enjoying it . I know its not easy but I think it must play on mens minds the need for them to give you the goods. Must be a pressure.

Husband has already complained that after two months of trying that he feels “clinical” so I feel like shit. Trust me mate, I don’t want sex before and after a 13.5hr shift either!

I'm sorry it's not darker, sending you love have you tried another test? My first response is still really light but found clearblue 6 days early quite clear xx

Wish I never tested early now no I always just use frer as they are meant to be the more sensitive. I may use an Asda cheapie as this is what I used first time round with my son!
