Agree that makes no sense at all to stop your reproductive cycle - I do know there is something they can give to bring on periods but I’m not sure if the name. Can you ask for a second opinion?Sorry I can’t help but intrigued as to why they want to put you on the pill?
CD14 onwards is usually the most typical - you don’t want to ovulate any sooner as the follicles need time to grow and get big. CD14 is based on a typical 28 day cycle but most cycles off the pill are longer so I would think you’re starting to get into territory now. Also keep checking CM too as I find thats a great way to see what your body is doingJust done my LH strip for the day and another very low result. My BBT has been steadily dropping for the last 4 days, I had read it can drop a bit before ovulation so just hoping it’s on its way.
I am only CD13 so could be waiting ages but have made myself extra anxious after reading that most women ovulate within 2 weeks of stopping their pill, which I’m now past![]()
Ah congratulations!!! Very happy for you (I feel like I know you just from being a lurker on The Circle threadsHoly fuck... I am 12 DPO. I felt like such shit yesterday I was like may as well test and see
CongratulationsArgh!!!! Got my BFP last night, 9 weeks after my MMC. Honestly can’t believe itReally thought I was out this month, had no real symptoms and felt like AF was coming for the last week! Only the last 2 days I’ve had a really strong sense of smell, which prompted me to test! I’m 12dpo so still early days but showing up 1-2 weeks on clearblue.
So nervous/excited but I’m trying to stay as calm as I can!![]()
Also been really really tired the past few days. I’ve just woken up after being asleep for over two hours. I could sleep more tooI feel you on this one. I think I can test in about 11 days according to Ovia but I’m not gonna test an earlier than when my period would be due. I think I’ve gone back to a 28 day cycle
Yes!! It’s shit!! My last few cycles have been as regular as clockwork 31 days, then one went to 36 days and now I’m on day 42 and have started spottingAF arrived today, 3 days earlier than predicted. Anyone else with PCOS just feel so disconnected from their body? My last couple of cycles have been all over the place!
Have you tried taking inositol? This can help bring on your period! It definitely works for me! xxOh yes! My last AF finished in Jan, so I just have no idea what’s going on..
Hope you’re okay though! Xxxx
I am in the same position as you, I came off the pill about 3 weeks ago, had a withdrawal bleed almost immediately and since then nothing. So thank you for asking the question about opk’s because I didn’t even know whether I should bother trying to track ovulation as I hasn’t had a period yet.Thank you guys for responding, you’re all so supportive hereI don’t want to tell anyone we are TTC so being able to just write stuff out here and read through all your posts is making me feel so much less alone (plus teaching me loads!) xx
Thank you and yeah It really is!Hey I can see it a line on the top pregnancy tests on both photos.
Good luck when you next try again.
Hopefully you get a clearer picture.
TTC is always testing our patience.
Good luck xxThank you! I think this seems like a good starting point for a few months especially while I sync up to the app. I can get quite anxious so definitely trying to get the most relaxed but effective plan in place for the next step.
this last cycle I truly thought this was it. I posted on here around 8dpo and said I didn’t have any symptoms, but the next day they all hit me! I had cramping which I never get unless it’s 24hrs before AF. I was so sure. So to then take a test and it’s a BFN truly broke me.Haha we are similar!
He has children already so he is highly unlikely to be the problem although I know it can happen. I badly want everything to be fine with us but then I guess they can't help as to why its not happening if so, so that frightens me a bit too.
I have also said I feel like giving up a few times now, that I can't do this anymore and when I feel like that I mean it. When my period comes I just feel so bad. Last month i truly felt like my heart was physically hurting and breaking with pain. And I just think I can't do this to myself anymore. But then I think about it possibly meaning me never having a child of my own and that thought kills me... And I guess that's what makes me carry on. I truly truly have so much admiration for those women that do this for years, they are so strong.
It’s ok I knew all of this, I think I needed someone impartial to tell me. I don’t think my other half understands it totally and it’s frustrating listening to him say “yes, I see it” and I know there’s nothing there. He’s just excited, thank you thoughi can’t see anything, sorry. 4 days from period is still quite early though so perhaps these aren’t sensitive enough. Blue dye can be known for an evap line, maybe try a red dye like first response. The early result would be sensitive enough to use possibly. Negative doesn’t mean you’re out, though x
Hi ladies! Congratulations on the recent positives! I’ve been a lurker for a whileso exciting!
I’m going to be ttc in the next few months and I’m already obsessing hehe. Just wondering if any of you take daily vitamins and if I should start taking folic acid now, even if we aren’t actively ttc until Oct/Nov time? (My partner works away) I always have regular cycles (luckily) and I’m worried if I start taking vits in October it will throw my cycles all over the shop.
myself and partner are early 30s, I’ve been off the pill for 3 years and not even a whiff of a positive. We haven’t been trying, but I always assumed a whoopsie surprise might happen but nope!
