Is anyone TTC number 3? Or have 3 or more? I'm really thinking about trying for a third but always thought I would feel done at 2 but I don't 😬 I'm worried about how hard the jump from two to three will be

Sorry I can’t help but intrigued as to why they want to put you on the pill?
Agree that makes no sense at all to stop your reproductive cycle - I do know there is something they can give to bring on periods but I’m not sure if the name. Can you ask for a second opinion?

Just done my LH strip for the day and another very low result. My BBT has been steadily dropping for the last 4 days, I had read it can drop a bit before ovulation so just hoping it’s on its way.

I am only CD13 so could be waiting ages but have made myself extra anxious after reading that most women ovulate within 2 weeks of stopping their pill, which I’m now past 🙁
CD14 onwards is usually the most typical - you don’t want to ovulate any sooner as the follicles need time to grow and get big. CD14 is based on a typical 28 day cycle but most cycles off the pill are longer so I would think you’re starting to get into territory now. Also keep checking CM too as I find thats a great way to see what your body is doing

Oh god, has anyone watched Delivering Miracles? Its incredible and utterly heartbreaking at times. These doctors are just unreal. Makes me petrified to get pregnant again even though I want it more than anything 😂

I’m not ttc but have successfully used BBT and think it’s great and really accurate for me- I knew I was pregnant both times as my temp didn’t dip which it would do the day before a period and instead stayed high.
good luck to you all, keep enjoying the trying I know it’s hard to not let it becomes chore.. my temp is up let’s go!!

Argh!!!! Got my BFP last night, 9 weeks after my MMC. Honestly can’t believe it 😭❤ Really thought I was out this month, had no real symptoms and felt like AF was coming for the last week! Only the last 2 days I’ve had a really strong sense of smell, which prompted me to test! I’m 12dpo so still early days but showing up 1-2 weeks on clearblue.
So nervous/excited but I’m trying to stay as calm as I can! 😁
Congratulations 🥰

I feel you on this one. I think I can test in about 11 days according to Ovia but I’m not gonna test an earlier than when my period would be due. I think I’ve gone back to a 28 day cycle
Also been really really tired the past few days. I’ve just woken up after being asleep for over two hours. I could sleep more too 😴

@Smallpotato i hear ya on the taking a million pictures of the literal pissing sticks!

@JLXRD I definitely see a peak on 22 for sure. Good idea, I have read many a time on people getting a peak just when they were about to give up. fingers crossed you’ve given it a good shot and it’s a good plan

AF arrived today, 3 days earlier than predicted. Anyone else with PCOS just feel so disconnected from their body? My last couple of cycles have been all over the place!
Yes!! It’s shit!! My last few cycles have been as regular as clockwork 31 days, then one went to 36 days and now I’m on day 42 and have started spotting 🤯 natural cycles is telling me I ovulated CD36, I can’t see it personally! And if that’s the case I missed BD by a day.

How long have you been ttc? x

Oh yes! My last AF finished in Jan, so I just have no idea what’s going on.. ☹
Hope you’re okay though! Xxxx
Have you tried taking inositol? This can help bring on your period! It definitely works for me! xx

Thank you guys for responding, you’re all so supportive here 💕 I don’t want to tell anyone we are TTC so being able to just write stuff out here and read through all your posts is making me feel so much less alone (plus teaching me loads!) xx
I am in the same position as you, I came off the pill about 3 weeks ago, had a withdrawal bleed almost immediately and since then nothing. So thank you for asking the question about opk’s because I didn’t even know whether I should bother trying to track ovulation as I hasn’t had a period yet.

It’s all so confusing when nothing is happening haha

Hey guys absolutely no clue if this is the right thread to be posting on 🤣 but wondered if anyone has had similar.
AF was due on 5th March and still nothing. This is the first time (apart from when I was pregnant in 2018) that I’ve been so late. I’m usually regular(ish) I’ve taken 4 PG tests a few weeks ago and all were negative. Don’t feel pregnant or like AF is coming. Going to do another test tonight but I’m 99% sure I’m not pregnant just because I had horrific back pain last time and it made me do a test, and nothing this time. Could I have just ovulated really late?
Sorry a bit TMI but wondering if anyone’s been in the same boat at all!

Thank you! I think this seems like a good starting point for a few months especially while I sync up to the app. I can get quite anxious so definitely trying to get the most relaxed but effective plan in place for the next step.
Good luck xx

Haha we are similar!
He has children already so he is highly unlikely to be the problem although I know it can happen. I badly want everything to be fine with us but then I guess they can't help as to why its not happening if so, so that frightens me a bit too.

I have also said I feel like giving up a few times now, that I can't do this anymore and when I feel like that I mean it. When my period comes I just feel so bad. Last month i truly felt like my heart was physically hurting and breaking with pain. And I just think I can't do this to myself anymore. But then I think about it possibly meaning me never having a child of my own and that thought kills me... And I guess that's what makes me carry on. I truly truly have so much admiration for those women that do this for years, they are so strong.
this last cycle I truly thought this was it. I posted on here around 8dpo and said I didn’t have any symptoms, but the next day they all hit me! I had cramping which I never get unless it’s 24hrs before AF. I was so sure. So to then take a test and it’s a BFN truly broke me.

I was told I have PCOS but the nurse I saw on Monday didn’t believe in that diagnosis. It seems not only do I have no idea what’s going on with me, nor do the health professionals! All my tests so far have come back completely normal as well as the OH. It feels like we are stuck in limbo and I don’t know if I can continue with it much longer. Doesn’t help that I’m such a perfectionist!

i can’t see anything, sorry. 4 days from period is still quite early though so perhaps these aren’t sensitive enough. Blue dye can be known for an evap line, maybe try a red dye like first response. The early result would be sensitive enough to use possibly. Negative doesn’t mean you’re out, though x
It’s ok I knew all of this, I think I needed someone impartial to tell me. I don’t think my other half understands it totally and it’s frustrating listening to him say “yes, I see it” and I know there’s nothing there. He’s just excited, thank you though 😊❤

Thanks ladies! I’m not holding I’m Not holding much hope for the Amazon but thought it would be intriguing for a fiver!

So clear blue then - is it test for Max 7 days? My last cycle was 30 days (had a super light bleed follows by spotting - was unsure it was period or not but I think it likely was) so approx CD5 now. I read to start testing from 8-10 depending on cycle length, what happens if you get nothing after 7 days? I’ve read of some people not ovulating until later on in the cycle

Hi ladies! Congratulations on the recent positives! I’ve been a lurker for a while 👀💕 so exciting!

I’m going to be ttc in the next few months and I’m already obsessing hehe. Just wondering if any of you take daily vitamins and if I should start taking folic acid now, even if we aren’t actively ttc until Oct/Nov time? (My partner works away) I always have regular cycles (luckily) and I’m worried if I start taking vits in October it will throw my cycles all over the shop.

myself and partner are early 30s, I’ve been off the pill for 3 years and not even a whiff of a positive. We haven’t been trying, but I always assumed a whoopsie surprise might happen but nope!

Yes start now.
I take Folic acid, DHA, Food grown fertility by Wild Nutriton and Vitamin D. I was taking a multi vitamin but swapped last month to the fertility vitamins for women.
Doctors & Nutritionists advise you should be taking folic acid tablets 3 months before you TTC.

I’ve been looking into it and it seems like being in a calorie deficit when you come off the pill can affect your cycle coming back and is generally not great for TTC unless you are very overweight.

Thinking maybe I should stop dieting if I want to conceive? I’ve been eating at at least a 600 deficit for a couple of months now (not every day but I have been losing weight). I figured if I fell pregnant I would stop dieting but in the meantime weight loss wouldn’t hurt as I am still about 10 pounds overweight currently (BMI is a little over 25). Now I’m thinking about it it’s probably not the best idea.

Anyone else dieted whilst TTC and has it affected you? I don’t know if I’m being silly and the idea of having a reason eat more just seems good to me so I’m selling it to myself😅

Congratulations @MadHat :)

I’m currently 8DPO and 99% sure it’s not our month as we didn’t time sex right but I’ve been nauseous every morning for the past week. Eases off around lunch and goes completely by early afternoon. Why do our bodies do this to us?
