Thank you, it's a completely new world to me so I have no clue what I'm doing 🙈😂 I'll definitely get in touch with my GP in the new year to figure out what's going on with my body.
I would bite the bullet and do it sooner rather than later, especially as you’ve been ttc for so long, it takes a while to get bloods, repeated, any other tests you need.

Alternatively you can you an at home test especially for women that can give you an idea of levels etc.

Modern science is amazing, there isn’t much they can’t help with if there is an issue.

Have you guys ever opened a test, like cracked it open? I’m starting think mine is an evap line. It was a first response 6 days early test. I darkened the photo because my friend asked me too. Is it an evap line or not? I cant tell anymore and I have no more tests to take because it was the last one. Period due in 3 days apparently
Can you upload the original photo?

Hey everyone, long time lurker but never had the guts to actually post until now. I just need to rant a bit I think so please scroll past if you want 🙈

Basically, been not trying/not preventing for about 4 years but last December decided to actually start trying. I'm using a basic tracking app and it seemed to be accurate in predicting my periods (so I assumed ovulation was correct too). To cut a long story short, April was the first time I'd missed a period (by 10 days) so I tested on the tenth day of the missed period because I didn't want to get my hopes up. Tested negative and I was gutted, then came on that night. After that we took a few months break from trying because it just really upset me and I started overthinking and getting in my own head over it all, stressing out etc. Anyway, we've recently started trying again and I'm currently 3 days late so I tested this morning and it was negative and lo and behold I've come on tonight. Why does my body do this to me?! I'm so frustrated. I'm coming up to 35 years old so starting to worry more about my chances so thinking about making a GP appointment to check my fertility but I'm very nervous in case I find out something I don't want to if that makes sense? I suspect I have pcos but obviously it's not been tested for. Should I start there and ask to be checked for that? It's all just so stressful but I worry I'm wasting time. Just ordered some ovulation sticks to see if I'm even ovulating when I'm supposed to/if at all. Thank you if you have read all of this and sending positive vibes to everyone in the same boat ❤
If the GP aren't willing to help, (although they should as you've been trying for over 2 years), Superdrug offer blood tests in certain stores and do fertility blood tests x

I had EWCM a week ago today and I’ve had some today as well? What does this even mean 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok I can’t edit my post but apparently you can get a second estrogen surge in your luteal phase! So that’s probably it!

Hi everyone, I've just found this thread on Tattle and great timing as we are just about to start trying again for baby number 2 after a difficult 2022. I had a chemical in April and another chemical in June and then an ectopic in August where I ended up having emergency surgery and losing a tube.

Feeling a bit worried about starting trying again, so looking for a bit of support 🙂

Having had an ectopic, then a healthy baby then a loss at 12 weeks and now pregnant again the best bit of advice I'd give you is what I was told.... Every pregnancy is a new pregnancy with a new egg and sperm. Of course you'll be anxious, I was, but it might work out too. And if you can, avoid early pregnancy tests, easier said than done, but ignorance is bliss.

I have tried to keep that mentality but it's easier said than done! But it's always good advice!

I think having the time off ttc after the ectopic has done me a world of good as I do physically feel much better than I did at the start of the year.

Hi, i’ve had a miscarriage in May then a missed miscarriage in August. the anxiety and the overthinking is awful and TTC scares the tit out me, i don’t have much advice because i don’t even know what to do or how to feel myself but you’re not alone and we can support each other 🫶

Girls I just seen this post about pregnacare, it’s about the pregnancy version but worth noting the ingredients and checking your pre conceptions if you use the brand as it’s probably the same stuff.

This is really interesting, I took pregnacare with my first and everything was fine, but this time when I started taking it I didn't feel any difference from it, so I've changes to taking Inessa which has given me a boost. I also take Vit D and ubiquinol too as I heard it boosts egg quality.

I looked at inessa before and thought they looked really good ingredients wise but I was put off by some the reviews about the smell and tablets being large and difficult to swallow. I have got some b12/selenium/iodine combined vitamin because my selenium was low on my mineral test but they smell so bad I often can’t take them so I skipped on the Inessa. I think it’s the b12 that gives off a smell.

I've actually found them fine for the smell, and they are medium size capsules which are easy enough to swallow. Easier than the pregnacare. But I have seen the bad reviews, some said that some capsules are empty or part full, but I haven't experienced that in my pots. They possibly recently changed the smell too, I'm not sure.
My husband bought the biocare normal multivitamin and they smell awful he hasn't been able to take them and has changed to the inessa ones.

That’s good to know thank you

We’re not adamantly TTC but not preventing it either. Did it when I think I was ovulating the other day and I just realised the due date would literally be bang in the middle of a busy few weeks that include our favourite bands concert, his best friend’s wedding that he’s part of and my cousin’s wedding abroad. We’d definitely find it hilarious if this happened this time, would be just our luck 🤪

I can’t tell from this! Have you tested today?

@AllTheBest2022 this is the original
I can see something vvvvvv faint

Another chemical for me last night.
Time to speak to a doctor.
I have questions for anyone who can answer them
- do I have to prove I’ve had three chemicals? I’ve not spoken to a doctor about them yet as I’ve not got to the stage of booking a first scan appointment.
- what exactly am I asking for when I call? A consultation with a normal doctor? A fertility specialist if they have one?
- how long have you had to wait? I’m 35 so “geriatric”.

Thanks. I’m aware I sound like a child but I never go to the doctors and hate stuff like this but I’ve now had three chemicals and we’ve been trying for six months (not long I know but we’re both older).

I would have a chat with your GP and see if you meet the threshold for a referral to the miscarriage clinic. The problem is they’re actually a lot more common than we realise ☹
I don’t think you will need to prove anything lovely.
Good luck xx

D+C 2 weeks ago, pregnancy tests still positive. Need to wait for my period to return before trying again but looks like it's gonna be a while longer 🙄
