I’m seriously considering taking a ttc rest until we get seen at the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Been told not to try again anyway until after my next proper period (that would be June, so try in July) thinking might be a good break to have two months with no tracking, testing etc.
Definitely think taking a break even just one cycle helps reset your mind a little. And you never know if you’re still actively having sex what might happen x

I’d be careful…the consultant after my second miscarriage recommended waiting at least one cycle, I had no period between my first and my second miscarriage and she suggested it may have been because my endometrium didn’t get a chance to thicken again. But the break emotionally and mentally sounds good. 💕

I know people do go on to have a successful pregnancy straight after a miscarriage but that does sound sensible to be careful and let your body repair you don’t need anymore heartbreak. Wish you all the best 💕

Been spotting the last few days which is normal when AF is due and means it’s probably on the way. Hardly DTD this month, and not tracked with OPK as just not felt it. Nipples have been so sore though, like chaffed sore.

Anyone got any tips for not bloody testing. Periods due in 5 days and I’m seeing these ones on Amazon that can detect it 5 days before 😖

My only 2 tips are: if I have pregnancy tests, I get my husband to hide them from me so I’m not tempted to test lol
And the other one is I use this website which shows the likelihood of having a positive test when you are testing early.. I think you have a 50% chance of having a positive test if you are pregnant and test right now so wait until those odds increase and save your money! https://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

I tested at 10DPO and that was pointless - BFN. I’m too impatient 😭

That’s really interesting, thanks

Absolutely not! You’re not out until Aunt Flo is here. According the link above you have an 81% chance of testing negative at 8dpo even if you are pregnant so just wait a few more days ❤
That makes me feel so much better! I had a misscarriage 2 months ago so I feel so much more nervous this time around 🥺

Bless you 💕 we are in similar situations so I totally get the anxiety around it, here if you need to vent! Xx
thank you lovely! I’ve had sore boobs, watery discharge and stomach pains which I had last time but don’t even want to get my hopes up! X

AF finally rocked up! I’ve just bought some ovulation strips which turn up tomorrow - any tips for using them? I can’t pee in a straight line, so I’m going to have to dedicate an old glass to the cause 😆

I use the premom app and it calculates your LH levels for you. Just try to take the pic in bright light (next to a window).

Thanks for the advice.
I’ve started using Flo but half of its behind a paywall. Is premom like this?
I think you can upgrade and get occasional pop ups offering this but all of the tracking I’ve been using is free.

really helps with timing. I find flo more useful for cycle tracking and tips/information

Definitely premom is the best for logging the strips but I prefer Femometer overall for interpretations and it’s still good for logging the strips. Most of the better features are also on the premium but I had a free trial then over Mother’s Day weekend it was half price for the year so I just jumped on that.

Do you use the Femometer strips or the easy@home ones? I like the Femometer app but can’t get on with the strips!

CD1 here too, exactly on time. 🙄
