I’m on cycle day (CD) 13 & I’ve got my flashing smiley on clearblue. My dad is also visiting so I’ve to somehow get rid of him to DTD 🤣🤣

So sorry and I just need to vent.

a good friend of mine had a baby a few days ago, we were discussing names & she just says oh il keep that name if my next baby is a boy. (She got pregnant twice first time she tried each time)

I am so happy for her but I want to scream at her at the same time. 👊🏻🥵 And then I hate myself for being so Mean.

So I finally got my bloods read by the doc , she said all is normal which is good but the reason I called was because my luteal phase was too short 3 months out of 6 which seems forgotten about so il wait to see what happens this month & il cal back. We are both now sick & there was no DTD this month so makes no odds. Kinda dying for my period to come to just put july behind me!

Hope everyone is ok xx

Hey everyone. Long time no speak. Hope you are all doing ok - I’m still here lurking a few months on 😬 I’m not sure if any of you have felt like this, but I’m struggling a bit with future planning.
Feel like I can’t make plans because if I plan something around potentially getting pregnant, I will jinx it and it won’t happen. Not sure if that even makes sense. I’m such a control freak - like my childless friends are talking about a booking piss-up holiday for next year - I’d rather be pregnant and miss it , but if it doesn’t happen for us by then, will I be kicking myself for not going? Or if I don’t go and then I’m still not pregnant is it because I jinxed myself by assuming I would be?

I think the way I’m feeling is also super selfish and shallow but I just can’t help it 😞 hoping someone will understand
I've been lurking too! It's difficult, my cousin who was going through fertility treatment like me has fallen pregnant, I haven't.

I was in the exact same boat, i'm not too sure what happened but I suddenly realised I couldn't keep planning my life for something that *might* happen. When would it end? Could I say no to a wedding in 2 years time in case I might be pregnant/due? (it's abroad). I just decided to say yes to everything and if i'm lucky enough to be pregnant by then, I will deal with it then.

Hope you're ok x

Thank you ☺ Congratulations to you too for September.
I just know though, I’ll get even more questions of ‘when are you having children? Kids next’ ect 🙄. As I smile through gritted teeth 😅.
Yea absolutely dreading the questions! My Nan has already commented a number of times about becoming a great grandmother soon 🙄 I wish!

One thing that’s keeping me going this month is my hen do in a couple of weeks. If my period comes at the end of next week, my consolation prize we be to get absolutely obliterated on my hen 😂🕺🏼

I had an old friend get back in touch yesterday and after a couple of messages he said "no kids yet then?". Normally I'd probably try to turn my response into a joke but I just said "Sadly not, not for a lack of trying though." Why do people still think it's ok to ask things like this?

CD40 today, no sign of AF, tests still negative, just like last month. 🙄 Think I may try OPKs next month. Does anyone else have longer (45-48 day) cycles?! Feels so strange to me having always been around 28 days in the past.

Hi everyone,

I usually appear around AF, when the heartache is bad and I need to talk to people that understand. Apart from then and obvious times like friends pregnancy announcements, I've kept myself okay.

But the last month I have struggled. I've disapeared off these threads a little as I'm really finding this hard. It's like the heartache I feel when AF comes is just there, lurking, at all times. I have to avoid and keep my self busy because I feel like I could cry all the time. My heart is hurting and nobody understands. I find the pain of AF hard enough, I don't know how to deal with this all the time.
The doctors have been shit and it's not been great, we are behind. I guess all that doesn't help.

What I need is if anyone at all, has positive stories. I am 18 months and half way through cycle 20 with no hint at all of a positive. Nothing. I need to hear this happened to others and it just happened for them. As time goes on this gets more and more unlikely and I think this is what is hard, the hope is going.

So if anybody with previous children, or knows of stories that can help a girl struggling, I'd love that 💖

Sending love to you all on this painful journey xxxx
I feel I could of wrote this myself. I’m not at 20 cycles but feel everything you feel. I don’t have a lot to say as I’m still in that post af phase, but I just want to say WE understand. Xx

Anyone else have a problem with symptom spotting? 5/6DPO and I’m sure I’m imagining symptoms and dying to test even though there’s absolutely no point! 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈 Going to be a long week🙄

Hope everyone is ok 🤍 🤍 🤍

feel like we haven’t had positive news for a while 😟

saw my ex was having a baby today on Instagram.. (don’t know why I have him on there tbh) I don’t care about him but I definitely got a jolt in my stomach when I saw it. My friend then felt the need to screenshoot the announcement on Facebook and send me it 🙄

One tiny bit of positive news, according to Premom, next month I should be ovulating the day my partner returns from work! It only takes one, right?! He’s then off working away for another 7 weeks after this. Let’s hope he’s not too tired from travel that night 🤣🤞🏻✨

The amount of money I’ve ploughed at tests and strips the past few years is shocking - could have fully kitted out a baby with the money 🤣
I will be accepting all donations 🤲🏻😂

Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing ok and had a lovely weekend 🤍

I’m pretty sure I’ve had a chemical 😔 I had some faint positives with both cheapies and a FRER over the last week with some mild symptoms. I’ve tested again over the weekend/this morning and there’s no lines and all my symptoms have disappeared. I’m now 6 days late for AF and no sign yet.

Just wondering how long it took for anyone else that’s had a chemical for AF to show?

Sorry for letting it out here - I haven’t actually told anyone about the positives (my partner has been working away and I didn't want to tell him over facetime!)

Congratulations! Must be the best feeling in the world! Please tell us all what you did differently x
Thank you ❤

And of course I will, however I don’t know if any of it helped as it was the first month doing all of it. It was our second month of doing SMEP, but I think we had better timing this month still.

I took 1000mg of vitamin c, b100 and b6 100mcg from 1DPO onwards as I had read a lot of success stories online that it helped to stop spotting in the luteal phase by regulating progesterone. Both previous months I had spotting and cramping from 8-10dpo. I don’t know if I’m not spotting this month because I’m pregnant or if I’m pregnant because I didn’t spot if that makes sense?

We used pre-seed. Previous months we had used conceive plus, but this month I switched to preseed as I had read a lot of rave reviews and success stories. I used the ones with the plastic tube syringes so you can use it internally before you DTD (so romantic 🥴)

I did the menstrual cup thing after DTD that was discussed here. I read a lot of success stories and it makes sense. I felt it couldn’t hurt to try. My husband definitely thought I was losing my mind (I think I was a bit) but hey! It may have helped a bit. I just made sure it was sterile and put it in after DTD, slept then took it out the following morning. Again.. VERY ROMANTIC.

The last thing is I ate mostly healthy foods and exercised every other day which in previous months I wasn’t so good at. I also made sure I kept my feet really warm after ovulation although who knows if that helped. My feet were toasty though 😂

So sorry you find yourself back here 😟🤍
Oh love, I am so sorry to hear this. Having gone through it in March I know how you must be feeling. Its awful isnt it. Get all the support you need....talking helps. Im an open book naturally but kept telling everyone, found it helped if everyone knew what I'd been through...not sure why!

I'm actually 3DPO on my 2nd cycle since MC and I'm having some weird bleeding. Maybe my body hasn't reset itself yet. Super frustrating but I'm trying to be positive that it'll happen again.

Sending you all the love and hope you're doing as well as you can xxx

So I went to the shop earlier and it was so HOT in there I was sweating.

Got to the till and the girl was fanning herself, I said oh it’s really hot in here isn’t it and she replied, “yeah even worse for me because I’m 5 months pregnant.”

Honestly I think my face must have dropped… I thought to myself, well I should be too. I couldn’t even respond to her, just paid and went and sat in my car and had a cry. Ridiculous really, it’s obviously not the poor girl’s fault, it’s just the tiniest thing like that will set me off 😞

Anyway moan over… hope you’re all doing well today xx

Edited to just add that I hope this doesn’t make me sound like a bitch 🙁 just trying to explain how I feel
Doesn’t make you sound like a bitch at all!🤍

to be honest, when a patient comes in and announces they are pregnant, I stab it angrily into their medical history notes 🙈

period arrived today 🙄😫 premom seems to get it bang on each month… I’m going to use their predictions for ovulation I think.

I’m out until autumn/winter now anyway as my bf works away. I’ve got myself a glass of Prosecco!

I tested first thing this morning 🥺🥺🥺
Congratulations! 😊

So all looking good so far. My second blood test in 48 hours saw my HCG levels more than treble and they expect them to double. So that's positive. I have to go back in a week for a scan to see if the sac is in the right place. Im still bleeding though. 2 weeks now but the doctor that called with my results said it could just be implantation bleeding even though it started so early. So 🤞🏼. Im too nervous to get excited about it yet though, ill feel better once I see the sac but after my MC in March I think it'll be when I'm due that I'll actually relax 😂😂
Wishing you all all the luck in the world wherever you all are in your cycles right now. 😘😘😘
Glad your HCG levels are so good! Fingers crossed the bleeding subsides soon and wishing you all the best for the scan in a week. So happy for you. 😊😊

5dpo today and just feel like I know I’m not going to be pregnant this month. The way I have both previous cycles.

Do you guys get this? I’m only on cycle 3 ttc but I just keep having the feeling it’s not going to happen for us. I don’t know if I’m just not allowing myself hope because I don’t want to feel the disappointment, but then I also have a weird worry about pessimism affecting my chances due to stress or something.

Anyone else have a continuous sense of doom? Did anyone have it but go on to conceive? I know I’m not psychic haha, but also I just don’t feel it’s normal to be this pessimistic 🥺

Ruairi! Pronounced Rory. (I appreciate not everyone's cuppa tea!) She even chose the true Irish spelling and she's not Irish. 😬
I know a little boy called Ruairi! It’s a lovely name! Wow, why did she do that 🤦🏼‍♀️

The name I liked was Clementine 🍊

Hi, long time lurker here… I’ve been TTC since January 2020, I’ve had two miscarriages in the last year one quite recently and mid trimester, it was awful 😢 I was just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced a positive ovulation test to detect early pregnancy? Sorry I know this is such a sensitive subject as I’ve been reading that some of you have been trying for years 💔 I had a positive ovulation test around 11 days ago with all the obvious ovulation symptoms and we dtd the same night, I then carried on testing until the ovulation test showed a very faint line/negative… but tonight I’ve just randomly decided to do another ovulation test and it’s come back positive (TW: pic below), I’m due on around the weekend, but too scared to buy a pregnancy test as I don’t want to get my hopes up for them to be dashed again ☹ Any advice would be welcome♥ Sending lots of positive baby dust to you all🌈

Had my call from the gp yesterday. I have pcos and it does not appear I am ovulating. She is prescribing me some medication to bring on a ‘period’ and in 6 months I can check in again with her if we haven’t conceived to look into other methods. Very unhelpful phone call tbh. If I’m not ovulating how can we carry on trying, if I’m not having periods how can I track anything. Has anyone had any success stories with pcos and no periods?
We do already have a child and I know we are SO SO lucky and she reminded me of that but it still didn’t make this news any easier.
