I’ve said it before on here but this sounds like ‘exploding head syndrome’. I get it as well but it’s not spooky (bloody seems like it though)
Thanks for this..i just googled it and I've jad tension headaches all week and im due my period which csn be triggers but one of the results was a thread about 3rd eye, meditation and EHS.
Weirdly yesterday as part of our wellbeing week at work i went to a mindfulness workshop which involved some meditation (not something i'd normally do) and it made me feel a bit dizzy / strange afterwards.

Sorry for the derail everyone x

I had a really weird experience years ago. I had been working all day and left the office to walk down the road to my car. It must have been winter because it was darkish and the street lights were on. A man walked towards me on the pavement and we both stopped and stared at each other about a foot or two apart. He was wearing old fashioned clothing with gaters, a frock coat and a hat, he also had sideburns. My first thought was 'is he wearing fancy dress' but it was a very authentic look. I smiled at him and walked on then glanced back a few moments later to take another look at his outfit and he had completely disappeared.

There was nowhere that the elderly man could have disappeared to as I only took my eyes off him for a few seconds.

The picture below is close to his outfit but not quite the same. I remember he was an old man, and very thin.

I scanned the street and was completely alone.

My husband thought I was hallucinating when I told him about it but I hadn't been drinking or taking drugs. The strongest substance I had that day was a cup of coffee. I still remember the incident like it happened yesterday and it was about 15 years ago now.

Google Time slips.

Liverpool seems to have the most for some reason.

Interesting story, I fully believe that there are cross over points in energy paths and this is where/how these time slips happen.

My dad passed away three years ago, and I was very close to him. After he died I would listen to the song ‘Dance with my father’ a lot. I was going through a really tough time, amongst other things there was something that I was absolutely desperate for and no matter how hard I tried it wouldn’t happen. That particular day I had sobbed my heart out for hours as i had failed again at it.
No word of a lie, my phone just randomly started playing ‘Dance with my father’ the freaky thing is I wasn’t touching it. I was in a hotel and the phone was on a table across the other side of the room. I was the only person in the room and although I have two Apple devices, I only have Apple Music on one, my phone so I couldn’t have inadvertently set it off. My iPad was to the side of me on the bed but I wasn’t touching it and it wasn’t connected to WiFi so I couldn’t have done Siri either.
I felt much calmer, and I went and had a nice evening. The following day what I was desperate for finally happened. I know my dad is around me, I’ve seen shadows and felt his presence, but I’m never frightened. My mum says I shouldn’t be scared, dad would never hurt me.
It scared hubby once though- we were having an argument and all of a sudden, the framed photos of my dad that I’ve got on a perfectly firm flat surface and are normally really sturdy all suddenly fell on the floor with a huge clatter 😂I said ‘see, that’s your father in law isn’t happy with you’ Freaked him out but stopped the row 😂

Yes I believe that really could be an explanation because he looked surprised to see me and obviously I wasn't wearing the clothing that a woman would have worn at that time so I must've looked very odd to him.
I wasn't in Liverpool though, this happened in London.
The other explanation could be that we perceive time as linear when it really isn't.

Wednesday morning, just after my husband went to work, I heard my 3yo awake in his bedroom. I heard, what I thought, him coming in to my room, and felt him lay in bed. Turns out, he was still in his bed when I woke up. Then last night I dreamt of my FIL who died a couple of years ago. I’m hoping it was him that came to say hello, as he also told me the story of the same thing happening to him while on holiday years ago 💙

The son has come forward and said it's not them. The mum must have been freaked out though when she first saw it. I suppose you see what you want to see sometimes.
I thought it was quite a nice story in a way, the husband's way of letting her know he is ok. The son obviously wasn't there...but it could have been what is known as a 'doppleganger', where an alive person appsars in spirit form where their physical body isn't. Basically seeing the ghost of someone who is alive!

That brings back a memory from years ago. I was driving towards Rivington outside Horwich in the North of England. I braked sharply to which the passenger said 'what did you do that for?' I had thought I'd seen a man in fancy dress (Victorian garb) by the side of the hedge about to cross the road. Passenger said there was nobody there and there was nothing else around, it was just hedges and fields. I felt that strongly that I had seen someone that I turned the car around and went to look. Nothing. Time slip or imagination?

This is near to where I work, I drive through Horwich and Rivington all the time. Loads of history around there though, so would not be surprised if there was spiritual activity. Lovely part of the north west.

Maybe he went home and said that he'd just seen this really strangely dressed woman who disappeared!

I read a story once that has always stuck with me,
There was a really bad traffic accident that involved a mother and her 2 children and obviously the other car involved.. Anyway apparently it was a really bad car smash and the lady telling the story said she was one of the emergency service workers that day.. I can't remember now who exactly she said she was but she was at the scene and she said she approached the car and she looked in the front passenger window and the lady was sitting in the drivers seat, she was alive and she was smiling at her and she kept saying 'please don't worry about me i'm fine, just please sort my children out, please help my children. They're in the back they need your help' .. they managed to free all 3 of them from the car wreck and the children were taken care of. The woman telling the story said she followed the ambulances and everyone to the hospital and on arrival she asked one of the paramedics about the lady and if she was okay.. and the paramedic said to her 'no, unfortunately the lady died on impact, the crash was so severe it would have killed her instantly but her children are thankfully ok'.

It creeped me out but also it's sweet because she was just making sure her children would survive.

This has really touched me. I hope that lady is resting in peace now. ❤🥺xxxx

This is so interesting! I’ve never heard of time slips before but that’ll be my bedtime reading tonight.

I’ve had sleep paralysis a few times and I see the outline of a dark female figure next to my bed as I feel like I’m being choked. I’m fully conscious but can’t move or make a sound even as I try my best to scream. I eventually snap out of it but it’s terrifying. Once when it happened though, I was actually dreaming that I was a baby boy with curly hair in a cot in an ornate, sort of Victorian bedroom but the dark figure was there and I was being choked again. It was so strange because I was watching it happen but I also felt that the baby was me? I can’t explain it and I’ve never dreamt about him since.

In my old flat we recently moved out off. It always felt “weird”.
Especially the hallway. It was a maisonette type flat.
So when you opened the door you came down into the front room and then you had stairs down to the bedrooms and bathroom, then more stairs to a fire exit.
(Each flat had one) that opened onto the next landing and lifts.
Anyway one night me and my partner was in bed cuddled up in silence and we heard a man sigh and cough. It legit came from under the bed 😭. But weirdly enough I felt really calm and wasn’t scared!. This flat was horrid though literally always felt I was being watched in the hallway and the bathroom. I couldn’t ever use the loo with the door open as I always felt like someone was just going to charge up the stairs torwards me.
