not a ghost story! But does anyone think you can dream your ancestors memories or bits of their lifes?
Yeah basically your brain is awake but your body isn’t. The first time I experienced it was when I was about 17. I was above my bed (almost like watching cctv) and saw this figure approach my bed from the door, I was screaming to try and wake myself up but I couldn’t. I had it again a few years ago where I was awake and was trying to scream to my husband next me but no sound was coming out. Absolutely awful and terrifyingI’ve had that feeling when I’m trying to wake up out of a bad dream and I’m in my room but the dream is still there. I’ll feel pinned to my bed. It’s not nice but I’ll eventually properly wake up. I think that’s a form of sleep paralysis.
Yes! This is what I think people are doing when they get deja vu or believe they’re psychic. I have a theory that our cells can retain memories from our parents/grandparents and further back.not a ghost story! But does anyone think you can dream your ancestors memories or bits of their lifes?
There is medical evidence that we share cells with at least our mother due to sharing a cardiovascular system during pregnancy. I love thatYes! Also, baby girls are born already with all the eggs they’ll have in their lifetime. So while your grandmother was pregnant with your mother, a part of you was also in there tooThere is medical evidence that we share cells with at least our mother due to sharing a cardiovascular system during pregnancy. It seems like you actually did it!I was reading up on astral projection the other day and tried to attempt it but fell asleep.
Last night, I dreamt that I did manage to do it and went through to the apartment next door - via our shared wall - and started looking around (it's empty at the moment). It felt so real - I went into each of the rooms and checked out the views and space; smelt the lovely clean fragrance (it's just been professionally cleaned). I don't remember anything after that, but I'm dying to go inside and see if it matches up to my 'experience'!
I find sleep paralysis so interesting but I also red somewhere that people that become aware of it/interested in it often end up suffering from it, from that point on I decided to ignore itThe sleep paralysis that people speak of. Is the vision of the woman a ghost/ entity? I don't really understand it. It sounds absolutely terrifying though.
You need to book a viewing and report back here!I was reading up on astral projection the other day and tried to attempt it but fell asleep.

Sadly, it's already sold. But it is about to go up on Air BnB as a rental ... maybe I should convince some family members to be the first to book it.You need to book a viewing and report back here!
At least you'll be able to see the listing and see if what you saw was "right"Sadly, it's already sold. But it is about to go up on Air BnB as a rental ... maybe I should convince some family members to be the first to book it.
I get this feeling too. And wonder if it's because I'm so sceptical. I've been to two mediums who both described my granny perfectly and I was pleased with that. But there's other relatives that I've lost not that long ago that I was extremely close to. I've only dreamt about one of them and both times it was quite distressing as she didn't know she'd gone and I woke up upset and off kilter for the following days. My cousins talk about seeing them in their dreams and how happy it makes them feel, and I just feel jealous! I was the closest one to them, why can't I get some dream related relief!I just sat there feeling a bit sad…why do some people have experiences and I’m not? ?
My sister lived in a flat that was above what was the village morgue. The second bedroom in her flat was horrible. I never felt happy in there.OK, so this is quite hard to talk about. Since I was a toddler I had things happen, my mum said I was babbling to some unseen entity. Things would move about around my bedroom causing a racket and there was no explanation. My dad gave me books on the occult when i was around 10 and I soaked them up like sponges. I am still a follower of Aleister Crowley and practice things within reason. I've learned my lesson not to push things.
Also, I'm very much into Anton Lavey and Kenneth Anger.
And older siblings as she will have shared with them. There is medical evidence that we share cells with at least our mother due to sharing a cardiovascular system during pregnancy. I love that![]()
Mines like a dark shadow figure with an overwhelming sense of evil about it. I know it’s a male even though I can’t see them properly. The sleep paralysis that people speak of. Is the vision of the woman a ghost/ entity? I don't really understand it. It sounds absolutely terrifying though.
I reckon if anywhere was the place for professionals to look for paranormal stuff, a hospital would be the ideal place! The last junction between life and death, I’m convinced theres some as yet unknown phenomenon that happens that is responsible for paranormal experiences!I work in a different setting now but still in healthcare, and I completely agree! Hospitals are so eerie at night!
I was sent to take samples to the lab on a night shift as a student and had to use a certain stairwell in the hospital where people have seen/heard things, and I felt like I was being watched it was so spooky!
