This link mentions Paddy as well as others who have gone missing.

I seem to remember in the case of Jamie Herdman, something about the tearoom staff and regular patrons changing their stories (something like that). Personally, I believe a serial killer is at work.

Oh wow! I mean we all knew but I’m actually shocked it’s finally happened! I wonder if they found something during the search of Paul’s house then?

They havent found Kristen yet but it must have found something big if they have charged Paul with murder

It’s so sad her body hasn’t been found. I remember hearing somewhere and then saw an article that mentioned something that creeps me out. Aprebtly the people who lived in the house after Paul could hear beeping daily at 5am...which is what time her alarm on her watch went off for her her work. Could never find the noise. Now might not be true but still gives me the chills x

Wow if that is true I hope they are found it, I have also heard that the people who lived in the house didnt know that Paul and Reuben was involved in the disappearance.

This is true, if you listen to ‘Your Own Backyard’ podcast they talk about it. So creepy! This is a podcast dedicated to this case, really recommend it.

I have downloaded it to listen to as it has been recommended to me by several people.

i read about the toy box killers case and the awful awful tape they used to play to each victim, I saw it on reddit last week and wish I never did! 🥵
Emma Kenney covered the case on her YouTube channel and she played the actual recording. I was listening while I was driving and had to pull over because I felt so ill just hearing it. Especially the part with the dogs. I actually didn't even finish listening to that episode because of it. It is deeply DEEPLY disturbing. And this is coming from someone who can stomach a lot in the way of true crime and violence. Watch at your own risk.

It’s disgusting isn’t it. It’s on case file and I found it hard to listen to x

I have been following the case of the Delphi murders. Two Indiana girls called Abigail Williams and Liberty German went on a hiking trail to the Monon High Bridge and were murdered. Liberty caught the murderer on her phone and there is footage of him walking towards the girls , as well as telling them to go ‘Down the hill’. This was all caught on Liberty’s phone.

It is a really strange case with a lot of evidence and no real leads as yet. It horrifies and angers me that this man is potentially still out there. The poor girls and their families.

I also would like to say that I agree that Stephanie Harlowe’s channel is really good.

Other channels that I would recommend;
Eleanor Neale
Caitlin Rose (some very interesting older cases)

I’d just seen the book written by one of Fred and Rose Wests children, Anne Marie, mentioned on another article online. It’s called out of the shadows - had a look on Amazon and it’s selling for over £100! Does anyone know why it’s so hard to get hold of?

I listen to hours of true crime podcasts, some absolutely fantastic ones

Voices for Justice by Sarah Turney, I have listen to them all from the beginning, Sarah investigates her sister Alissas disappearance and their fathers involvement. Due to the subsequent arrest and trial Sarah had to delete some episodes so as not to interfere with the trial. It’s a fantastic podcast and Sarah has never given up.

Phoebes Fall, investigating the death of Pheobe Handsjuk who was found dead at the bottom of a garbage chute in Australia.

Teachers Pet, again in Australia investigating the disappearance of Lynette Dawson, and her husbands involvement after moving in their teenage babysitter to their home. Not sure if all episodes are still available as her husband Chris Dawson was arrested for her murder.

A case that has interested me recently is the disappearance of Summer Wells a 5 year old who went missing from her home with no trace of her being found. From the investigations so far the family were ill equipped to raise children, and they came across as being very neglected, the parents deny anything to do with her disappearance but something isn’t sitting right at all.

I have not heard about this one. Is it not possible to get on Audible or Kindle?

A few months ago I read ‘Happy Like Murderers’ about the Wests. At times it was very difficult to read but it certainly did provide some very interesting and previously unknown insight (on my part) into the minds of Fred and Rose. It’s completely bizarre and I feel so sad for all of their children - I can’t imagine how they came through such horrors. Apparently, Fred was always launching himself at his daughters and trying to grope them. They would push him away and he’d call them ‘lesbians’. He would also tell them that a woman’s first baby should always be their dad’s 😱

Just so, so messed up. And to think that all this went undetected for so many years.

I actually started listening to Sarah’s podcast about missing people last night but I’ll need to listen to that one too.

I can read about true crime for hours on end and be largely unaffected but something about the Wests always turns my stomach.

I think it was from around 2003, I didn’t think to check kindle though!

Yeah it really is almost unbelievable that children grew up in that house. And that no one knew what was going on for so long. It’s a horrific cycle, as Fred and Rose must have grown up thinking that sort of abuse was normal. I also read that their son was arrested for having sex with a 14 year old girl when he was an adult too.
