Waaah! I've just seen the tongue thing in her Tanzania airport story.
It is very lizardy and I'm going to flinch every time I see it now. 😧

I tried to ignore it when other posters mentioned it. But it catches you doesn’t it… and now you cannot unsee it. 🤣

Her lips look huge at the moment.
They really do, it's almost distracting! It doesn't help that she's been filming super close to her face on airplanes 😭

I just got admitted to the Trinny Tribe and the fans are losing their mind over this holiday, wondering if Trinny is at risk of being kidnapped. I find it all a bit silly... thousands of people visit that part of Africa for safaris and it's usually a fly in, fly out of the park situation. It's not like she's wandering around a war-torn country in search of a Zara 🤣🤣. I do look forward to her holiday videos because she's always staying in the most luxurious places and spares no expense. Don't know if her daughter appreciates it as much as Trinny though, I think these sort of once-in-a-lifetime trips are better when you are in yours 20s and appreciate the time with your mum a bit more. I think Lyla is still in that moody teenager phase and wants to be on her phone all the time.

Wonder if the tongue thing is when her lips are dry. The story when she was on the plane the other day, well, her lips looked huge and she kept licking them with the darting tongue. I don't know if it was the angle but her lower lip did look huge, it put me off and I didn't finish watching. I do like Trinny though, bags of personality and va va voom. I don't think she does the tongue thing so much when she has her lipstick/gloss on. Why is her bottom lip so distended in the middle bit, it didn't used to be?

I will enjoy her Serengeti stories I'm sure.

Disappointed she's promoting the Glucos Godess. She is not a credible source of nutrition advice.

I follow some really good proper nutritionists on IG and have seen them them take apart her stuff. She's cherry picks and misinterprets research to sell her fad diet.
---
I highly recommend Dr.adrian.chavez on ig. Scroll along his stories to the glucose section for sensible advice about glucose the fad of glucose monitoring. And yes Tim Spector and Zoe diet can get in the bin.

Thanks! This is interesting, my fella has Type2 and I wanna be more educated on it! 🥰

I believe that for people with actual diabetes monitoring is relevant. But if you have a functioning pancreas then these monitors are telling you nothing.

I never take Trinny's nutritional advice (hers or from the "experts" she finds) very seriously. She's made very dubious claims before about things like essential oils, bee pollen and caffeine. I'm all for talking about what works for you personally but to attribute health outcomes to it ("bee pollen is good for inflammation") without evidence from actual physicians is dubious. Same with some of her workout recommendations; they seem a bit woo woo.

When it comes to someone with actual diagnosed diabetes, don’t listen to any of these fad nutritionists. Listen to the drs, specialist nurses and specialist dieticians only!.

As is her dermaroller and general attitude towards dermarolling.

Also not sure about her beauty line. Has anyone tested her none makeup-stuff yet?

Same, along with many others on the Internet spouting this and that about nutrition and what works. It's so personal and we all so varied. Of course the standard things like healthy weight etc stand but the promoting of various supplements etc, nah. These people are not qualified.

Skincare is so personal and I know many love her products. I can't justify them because the prices are extremely high for the amount and the (somewhat) basic formulas. Brands like The Ordinary and Cerave offer similar quality products with the same ingredients at much more reasonable price points. You're paying for the luxe packaging, the pre-built regimes, and to support Trinny and boost her profit margins (🤑).

There's also an obsession across the brand with acids and exfoliating. Both cleansers have exfoliating ingredients - why? Just let me wash my face without irritation! She also sells an extremely potent Vitamin C cream that has tons of warnings about irritation, burning and reactions. It just feels like she made products she herself loves and didn't think about mass appeal.

Trinny is full of Botox and fillers so I’m never going to listen to her about anything skin related. I don’t like that inflated look. Vulgar
