The video of Tom looking confused to the song made my morning. I'm cracking up. How has he not heard that song? I thought everyone and their mother was forced to hear it at some point. It is adorable.

I wouldn't recognize it either. But then again I tend to dislike everything that's popular.

Using this post to say I'm a newbie (dwww obvious ) Someone I know told me about this board. I'm going to check what you've previously posted and then more actively join the convo.

My two cents about last few posts: not everyone wants kids. This world being crazy as it is, it is tough decision to bring a new life into it.

I am Tom and Tom is me. Never in my LIFE heard the Pokemon song! Before you start throwing tomatoes at me for that. Over here the cartoon series started airing in 1999/2000s, and I was well in my high school years. ALSO, they were translated in spanish.
I was today's years old when I first heard that song!
In my defense, growing up, the only cartoons I ever actually liked or watched were Sailor Moon, Silverhawks, Thundercats and Jem and the Holograms.
Other than that, I was more into sitcoms like Pete & Pete, Clarissa explains it all, Are you afraid of the dark, Clueless, etc

Clarissa is so cool! Shh I even watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch when she appeared in that (not the new Netflix-y one). Sailor Moon I still adore and so does my daughter, got her into Ponyo and a lot of other anime.
Loved Jem and Thundercats too, couldn't believe they remade Thundercats (my daughter watches it and didn't like the original). Can't say I like the remakes. But if you want a laugh look up Teen Titans Thundercats episode as the new ones and original are in it and it's a total scream.

No the cube cannot be seen in Tom’s video. However some Internet sleuths (not me!) found the real estate listing for the condo in Atlanta that Tom stayed in during his sojourn there. And yes, the cube sculpture was in that condo. And so was the blue sofa and lighting fixture that did show up in his videos. The picture of Zawe in glasses was a video she did in Toronto when she was filming The Handmaids Tale.

I feel less alone now! Hahaha and yes, Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels were also in the mix.
I must say, I never really liked cartoons a side of the ones I mentioned. My sister hated me growing up because I wouldn't sit and watch Disney with her and I opted out from going to the movies if those were the kind of movies she wanted me to see.
I was only interested in movies like Hocus Pocus, Casper, Ghostbusters or any John Hughes movies.
I'm also a HUGE fan of 80s B Horror movies, my dad and I used to watch those all the time. Guess he contributed to my undying love for Freddy Krueger

He did interviews with a neutral background as I said, he was sitting on a blue sofa with a white wall and a slightly visible piece of art over the sofa. However the Internet sleuths (who already knew where he was staying because there had been a picture of him entering the hotel/condo with Owen Wilson, found pictures of the condo (from when it was for sale - maybe Disney bought it?) and matched up the cube sculpture, the blue sofa, the artwork over Tom’s head and proved that it was the same place. Which was then further proven by the woman who was visiting her cousin and who posted meeting them both on FB.

I think it’s possible that Disney bought this condo for use by their major stars. I saw the real estate listing before it came down. It was sold pretty recently (but before Tom came to Atlanta) It has great security and is enormous is fully furnished and quite luxurious.

The only way people knew where he was staying was that someone took a sneaky picture of Tom and Owen Wilson going into the hotel/condo. All you could see were their backs. The picture was all over social media so naturally people figured out where it was. Luckily the place has great security so nobody could bother him. (Though the Atlanta Filming pap recorded that someone was trying to hide in the trash bins!)

Don't particularly know how Disney works per se, but yeah, usually if you are to film in a different location than where you live, the production company is/should be in charge of the accommodations (usually hotels if the stay is short, production rentals if it's longer) plus air fair and per diem for food.
