I do not knit ( I crochet for stress management), but have been looking at opinions of his work of the reddit craft subs. People seem very split on if he is a good knitter or not, pointing out how good some elements of his work are, but also somethings that he needs to work on.

This would not be an issue if he portrayed himself as an enthusiastic amateur or hobby knitter. However, he is selling books on how to knit, and knitting kits.

People are also annoyed at how expensive his knitting kits are, £90 despite supposedly being for beginners.

And the fact that a lot of his knitting pictures double as weird thirst traps.

I agree with comments about his outfits. He always looks like a child playing dress up in clothes to big for him. Nothing wrong with flamboyant outfits, but you need a certain type of swagger and charisma to pull them off and he just doesn't have it.

Bit like Sam Smith who wears outrageous outfits but looks a right gob as he doesn't pull them off.

I saw a video on insta today of Tom as a kid in a documentary .. he looked and sounded so sweet … he’s become more and more intolerable, which is a real shame. His relationship doesn’t help; he should have played the field and had fun and then settled down later with someone closer in age, when the time was right.

Blake Aldridge who he partnered in Beijing 2008 games. There was issues because Blake was on the phone to his Mum because the diving was going a bit to pot.

Him and his husband seem quite mismatched. Tom isn't very bright or articulate, Dustin seems the opposite.

They either forgot to mention them, making it sound like he somehow he did a solo pairs dive, or they mention them as an after thought.

There is a dive they do, that Noah "had to learn" because other dives were too easy for Tom to do in competition. But clearly Noah has learnt the difficult dives and smashes them as well. Put some respect on Noah Williams' pretty twink a.

The man’s an egocentric twit. Honestly, there was no need to do this today! I’d put money on him either being announced for Strictly later on today, or going into the jungle in a few weeks. He’ll need to do something big, and soon, to stay relevant and raise his profile if diving is now out of the picture.
