Talking of babies, I've just been having a snoop on his brother's Instagrams as wasn't sure if they were both there or not. Will was there with his wife Chloe and their 3 year old daughter Myla. Ben is engaged and his fiancee is expecting a baby boy (this makes me feel old I will always see him as little Ben from the documentaries!)

I've always thought Lance isn't inherently physically unattractive, but there is just something about him that is off-putting and unattractive.

He is creepy. If Tom was female and they were married with the 20 year age gap, imagine the headlines… It’s always felt very groomy to me!
For me the issue isn't the age gap, but how and when they met. Tom was very young, still coming to terms with sexuality, had lost his dad and in a high pressure sport.
I swear there's an interview somewhere with lance and he admits Tom was at a low/vulnerable point when they met. It just seems like someone older taking advantage.

It’s a combination of those things for me - both of their ages and Tom’s vulnerability. It screams power imbalance.

Toms Dad died aged 40 in 2011, so he’d be 53 now. DLB is 50 ..
I have zero issues with age gaps. But I really agree that the circumstances around them getting together was a bit dodgy. Tom had just lost his Dad & then hooked up with someone his age 🫣 I’ve always assumed the reason they have an open relationship has been to allow Tom to experience other guys given he was locked down from age 19, newly out.

I'm baffled as to what a 38 year old man would see in an 18 year old boy. I can understand from Tom's point of view, in the midst of grieving for his father and perhaps wanting the stability of a relationship with an older man. But what the hell was Lance thinking.
It also creeps me out that he said "Will you be my boyfriend" to Tom on their second date. What grown 38 year old man talks like that?! Unless you're fully aware you're talking to someone significantly less mature than you are.

For tom it's probably father figure type thing, but for lance I suspect he saw Tom as a prize
They were on Celebrity Gogglebox one time and that was exactly my impression of him. Can't stand Tom Daley either tbh.
