Maybe that's the part Tom decided he's tagging along on? Since Carrie mentioned weeks ago that she was going as a 'plus one' for a trip, maybe the plan was that it was only supposed to be Gi and Carrie.

Plus all I keep seeing is Tom carrying Max the youngest, so not much point in her pushing a double buggy around all day!
To be fair, it’s hot and the parks are huge with hours spent walking around all day. It’s not unusual at all to have strollers/buggies even for older kids who would have outgrown them and not use them otherwise.
