Ring your gp they’ll give her a drink to make her go. My niece ended up going to a&e with constipation loads when she was 3/4 she was scared to poo
It’s Friday now she defo needs to see someone I’d have thought!!
Thank you. Luckily a second dose of lactulose managed to get her to poo yesterday.

On a separate issue. My daughter started nursery in May was in the toddlers room but they’ve slowly been moving her to the pre school room. She’s received a party invite from a kid in the pre school room, now the issue is she is one of three girls with the same name in the same room (and here’s me thinking it wasn’t that common 🤣). One of the other girls, I’m friends with her mum and I asked her if they got an invite and she said she didn’t think so and mentioned that her daughter plays with birthday kid a lot so now I have this horrible feeling the nursery staff have given the invite to the wrong kid. I haven’t rsvp yet and I feel really awkward about going if it possibly wasn’t meant for us. I know I’m massively over thinking this and the kids are 3/4 and probably won’t mind/care, I just had to panic somewhere 😅

Glad she went to the loo

I’ll be getting medical advice but just wanted to ask if anyone else’s 2 year old had a small lump on the top of their head towards the front It’s really freaked me out and besides the occasional head butting the floor threw tantrums he has had no injury. And now I can’t think of anything else 😩😖

Can anyone reassure me that the “I hate all food now and don’t even think about coming at me with fruit or veg” stage will pass?!
My 17mo has always been a brilliant eater but is refusing almost everything recently 😩 he is teething so not sure if it’s linked to that but he would usually just prefer softer foods if his teeth are bothering him, it’s unusual for him to refuse foods altogether.

Judt like to let you all know when you’re younger kids start reception next year or the year after for 2 year olds ,
I would buy your school uniform this January as everywhere is out of stock and I did NOT get the memo you have to buy school uniform two months early

Could it be a cyst?

I think as someone else said, there may be a supply issue.
We've never had problems before. Last year we bought it all middle of August, which is what we usually do

Just thought I'd add that I usually get them all instore though

😢😥🥵 how long does the transition / adjustment to 1 nap take? Toddler Bluebird is 13 months tomorrow and is transitioning to one nap, and has been for awhile now, but I think she’s fully in this transition / adjustment now and by 17:30 poor girl is wrecked.

I really can’t do a cat nap type of thing because I also need her to go to bed around 19:00 since I’m a solo mum again until November. By 18:30 today she was over IT.

Any suggestions?

Can you bring her bedtime earlier a little?

During the transition to one nap we had to bring bedtime earlier as he was wrecked and bedtimes were a horrific overtired mess 😂 some nights he would be asleep by 6.30, even at 6 on very tired days.

I think I’m going to have to try. It’ll be a tight squeeze to get her from daycare at 5 (I really can’t do any earlier because of work when we go back), then making dinner / eating, and bath / book / bottle. I could do it last winter when she was still on purees but now that she eats a full dinner it takes a lot longer. I’m going to play around for the next two weeks since I’m still on break and lectures don’t start until September so I do have some time before it’s really not that flexible.

Poor girl.

Does anyone know with easyJet if you have to book kids car seats in or can you do it at the bag drop off like Ryanair. I can’t find anything on the app about it

Does anyone use universal credit to pay nursery? How does it work?

I did a benefits calculator the other day that seems to think we’d be entitled to some UC but we currently use tax free childcare and my understanding is we’d have to stop using that and use the UC to pay nursery instead. It’s putting me off a bit because I know what I’m doing with the tax free childcare but obviously the extra UC would be very useful.
