Agree mine gets spots like that when he’s had a viral

this weekend all it’s done is piss it down. And feel like all I’ve done is repeat myself a million times cos he’s not listening. We went to wacky warehouse this afternoon. It was HELL. The kids were like wild animals. Worse even. It was so loud I couldn’t even hear the girl at the till and parents were just letting their kids run absolute riot. I am NOT stepping foot in WW again over summer hols 🙈

I hate wacky warehouse. There is always a 20 minute queue to get in, and never feels clean. Kids are alway brutes in the baby bit too

Omg it’s the worst. It was my fellas idea I thought why not cos we’ve not been for AGES. I didn’t even go in he went in with him I kept our table occupied after someone tried to steal it
It was hell on earth 😂. But they had a great time

We've not left the house this weekend due to the weather and potty training toddler army. Oh my god, it's been intense. She has had very few accidents but I've never know a toddler hold their wee in for so long and have the bladder of a camel, she has only done two wees today and I'm stressing that she's going to get a UTI, I'm hoping fluids tomorrow to try and push on with it and get more practice. But I'm done in tonight and really not looking forward to the first summer holidays with all 4, which makes me feel like a witch tbh 🙃

My three year old has a bladder of steel and is a stubborn old goat too. Any slight suggestion she might need a wee adds in another hour of holding it. It drives me mad, but she’s never had an infection so I’ve learnt to let it go. Wish she would 🤣

Literally the only soft play people will nick your seats? It’s weird. I don’t even think it’s the same wacky warehouse 😂

Thanks for this! I'm trying to leave her to it as I know pestering makes it worse but it's hard!

We're due to visit family soon and have realised my toddler has outgrown his travel cot. Has anyone had much success with inflatable or fold up beds? Needs to be something that can be bundled in the back of the car and easily set up as we move from place to place.

My 3 year old is going through the why phase and omg this is rough, I don’t have an answer to all these why’s 😭

I saw a video on Instagram and the lady said that if the why questions get a bit much, ask your child why instead. She said it should stop that train of thought or something like that.

I tried that but we were saying why back and forth to each other for about five minutes 😂

So this was me a few weeks ago! First week of the summer hols, all 4 at home, and potty training and😑😑😑 I was so knackered! It’s good she can hold her wee though, means accidents are so much less likely and she’ll be more buoyed up by her success. But when you’re in that stage where it consumes your every thought that is hard! Ice lollies and melon if she won’t drink much.

Could you just use one of the fold up mattresses you can get? We’ve got quite a large thick one for our travel cot.

This company is lovely and the quality beautiful. Iv been eyeing this up for a while as the reviews are really good.
They do tend to have lots of sales on quite frequently so you might get a discount. I think you get a discount for being a new member and you collect points as you shop too.
Hope this helps xx

Could I have some car seat advice? I’m trying to minimise how many car seats I need to buy as they’re £££ but I have questions:
My toddler has a Joie 360 (which is great). I was going to get the baby one too, but I’m worried it’ll be too big plus would be helpful to have one I can put on the pram etc. My thoughts are to buy a maxi Cosi pebble for the baby, which should last until about 15 months? Am I right in thinking the 360’s last until they’re 19kg of forward facing? So it should work out that as the baby grows out of the baby seat, the toddler will grow out of the 360, at which point I can put the baby in that. But what does a toddler/child go in after they’re 4 and out of the 360 style car seats?
I just find it a complete minefield of information about car seat groups and stages and I can’t quite work it out 🤦🏼‍♀️

Joie 360 is 18kg.
My daughter needed a bigger seat just after she turned 3 as she was always 90th+ percentile.

She went into a seatbelt carseat after the Joie 360.

We then saved the 360 for my youngest and just used the baby carrier until then 😊

So once she’s out of the 360 she’s going to need either a Group 1/2/3 or a Group 2/3?

It all depends how long you want to RF for to be honest.
If Toddler Rose is low percentile she could last in the 360 for a long time, and still be in it when baby has outgrown the infant carrier.
360 needs to forward face once you hit 18kg.
I wouldn't recommend a seatbelted harness till nearer 5 unless you can be absolutely sure she understood that she can't unclip herself or tuck the straps under her arm
