Have you only started today? I let my daughter run round with nothing on her bottom half for 3 days at home before putting knickers on her. I was loosely following the oh crap potty training method. Having underwear on is another step in the process as they have to take them down to wee.
Yep we have. I’m going to my parents tomorrow what do I put on him? I tried going straight to underpants a few months ago as advised from a specialist teacher from nursery ( so he would know when he’s wet) but he just cried loads with underpants
I just put on night time nappy when pjs go on so yes not long before bed. I keep saying, we only wear nappies at night time now. I’ve posted on here before though I did wait until later to potty train my daughter (3yrs 8 months) and it’s been pretty straightforward as she really understands what I’m telling her.
It’s about 15 mins max. I thought maybe just put him in his car seat with shorts on but I don’t know! Or do I just go straight for the underpants

that’s exactly what happened this morning when I turned my back to wipe the kitchen sides he was peeing on the floor I quickly put the potty under him to catch the rest
also his Willy hangs over the edge so he’s standing up that’s alright isn’t it?

he’s doing so well xIf he doesn’t like it I’d just let it go for now tbh. Maybe take him to pick some out if you think that would help? But I don’t think it’s a big deal at all, especially for boys who have shorts on etc in summer so no nakey bum flashing

His dad is going to teach him how to pee standing up this summer because it's apparently a useful skill to have if you have a pen

I said you will need them for school tomorrow. But he is just not having it. I’ve left him alone for a bit now and done some googling. I’ve tried two different types of underwear but my partner still thinks we should try baggier ones
