Have you only started today? I let my daughter run round with nothing on her bottom half for 3 days at home before putting knickers on her. I was loosely following the oh crap potty training method. Yep we have. I’m going to my parents tomorrow what do I put on him? I tried going straight to underpants a few months ago as advised from a specialist teacher from nursery ( so he would know when he’s wet) but he just cried loads with underpantsHave you only started today? I just put on night time nappy when pjs go on so yes not long before bed. I keep saying, we only wear nappies at night time now. How long is the walk/drive to your parents? Could you try just putting normal shorts on him rather than underpants maybe? I did find on the first two days of potty training that if I put shorts on my little girl, she’d wet herself. Possibly because she had something on her so mistook it for a nappy. Sorry that’s not super helpful!
I know you may not want to hear this, but my 2 boys were much better at potty training than my girl. I’ve always sat them down on the potty. Makes less messHe is fascinated when he’s done one. I will keep going I think. I have just been googling and it says boys take a lot longer than girls

that’s exactly what happened this morning when I turned my back to wipe the kitchen sides he was peeing on the floor I quickly put the potty under him to catch the rest
also his Willy hangs over the edge so he’s standing up that’s alright isn’t it?

If he doesn’t like it I’d just let it go for now tbh. Maybe take him to pick some out if you think that would help? Depending on his understanding just explain and be firm. Say you’ve done so well using the potty, and I’m sure you can’t wait to show nursery how clever you are. To go to nursery you must wear your shorts.He’s done a big wee on the potty when he got up and wanted to flush it away himself in the big toilet 🥹
after that thought I’d try and put just his pj shorts back on but he cried a little and pulled them downand was trying to find his “wappies”🥹
