I have massively cut down screen time. Especially the iPad and her behaviour has really improved. I’m glad you had a nice day, it makes such a difference when you’ve been having a rough phase. I have also been feeling like a shit mum but I think that actually shows we are good parents as we care so much. They are so forgiving though. It’s just us who beat ourselves up!

Definitely don't think the heat helps. Mine has started tantruming again also at nursery. They mention it but it's not a massive deal I don't think.
ATM she has a meltdown because I won't let her run around the car park
I just leave her until I think she is calming down then offer her something then she's alright (I mean at home not the car park )

I'm really grateful that my mum ended up having my daughter last night, as it meant we got to go out for a lovely meal, but I've texted her this morning and apparently she didn't fall asleep until 9 and was up at 6. So now I'm really annoyed that I'm gonna have a grumpy 3 year old all day. This happens every time she stays over at my mum's, it's like my mum just lets her do what she wants but I can't complain to her because she's doing me a favour! I just need to moan to someone

Can you let her have a nap this afternoon just for a hour or so? Is it she’s excited to be at grandmas she doesn’t wanna sleep?

My child is like a changed child she’s not had any meltdowns, no issues at all! She’s at her dads all weekend as they are taking her to caravan so I’m child free till Sunday..! Woop

I normally get his books from the charity shop but decided to try there instead as I was after a specific one

Anyone else’s toddler just not up for food in this heat? My 20 month old is already a picky wee guy, hardly eats as it is, but he’s been so bad this week with food. Still drinking plenty of fluids & having his usual breastfeeds.

Yup. 2yo has hardly eaten.
She's hard to get to eat anyway but yesterday she ate a biscuit, 3 crisps and a smoothie
