I've posted on here before but my daughter really does not like taking medicine, even Calpol. She used to be fab, would let you give it to her, or would take it herself. But now she flat out refuses and if we try to make her take it, she just vomits. She's been saying for the last night or two that her ear is sore. She's recently had a cold so we were thinking maybe an ear infection? But she just refuses to take Calpol, yet is in so much pain as she just whines and cries all day. It's breaking my heart. I can try and hide it in juices and things during the day, but she could really do with a dose just before bed, but she just won't take it. When she sees the syringe she just starts gagging and making herself sick.Will it get better?

Does anyones 2.8 year old poo so much? Some days my daughter can poo 2,3 times a day and I’m like Wtf???? She eats lots of fibre and fruit and doesn’t eat junk food, but I’m wondering if she has too much fibre. For instance she has brown seeded toast for breakfast and fruit, or weetabix/shreddies, she won’t have white bread (I don’t even buy it in), and I worry slightly she goes to the toilet more than she should. It’s not watery or anything either and she’s got no allergies/intolerances to food. She does eat ALOT of food though
Also- talking of bowel movements I’m starting potty training this week. I’m so like wtf but i think she’s showing signs for sure, I’ve got a potty and I’ve bought some knickers so nursery will start tomorrow then I’ve got her all week and weekend to focus on it. I hope it goes well… but no pressure for either of us

God that must be hard going. He dropped his naps around 2 and. A half I think. It’s sooo much better cos he goes to bed earlier and really quick. But it makes the day long ! Especially cos he gets up almost every day before 7!!

Are you concerned about his hearing? My 3 year old had hearing tests from 1ish twice a year. He had glue ear, but he grew out of it at the beginning of this year. I’ve said we can choose new bedding which doesn’t work. I’ve said father christmas is watching through the monitor and that doesn’t work. He reckons his bed is broke (it isn’t) and today when I said I fixed it he went crazy lol. If we take him back to his bed during the night he just screams for mummy and daddy’s bed and it really isn’t worth the fight but I don’t know what to do
