Thinking the same thing. You can't have a normal tradition for a day you didn't celebrate with each other before this year. I know they aren't talking about celebrating it with Tim's family...as Jenn has made it obvious how she feels about her MIL.

Your comment reminded me of something.

Under the vlog from maybe 1-2 days ago, I read where someone relayed to another commenter that "they" (Tim / Jenn) said that Tim's parents haven't met Jackson yet due to COVID. Someone else said his parents live out of state.

I rolled my eyes.

That baby was born LONG before COVID (if Tim / Jenn actually *did* utter that absolute lie of an excuse) and his parents live in Lake Mary. Only 30-40 miles from Trackers house in Lake Nona.

I wanted to add to this comment, I’m sure they said on a recent vlog that the reason family hadn’t seen Jackson was because he hadn’t had his vaccinations

So it’s to take him out to the park and out to have food, but not ok to see family!

Plus, what family waits to see a baby until all their vaccinations are given? Grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. all frequently show up when a new baby is born (even neighbors or friends bringing food or gifts) - either at the hospital or back at home. Not to mention the baby's own little brothers and / or sisters!

Ugh. These two.

The over-the-top ridiculous stans are literally what drove me to seek out boards like this, guru, etc. - springboarded off of Jenn's absurd comments after the pregnancy announcement of people showing up at their house protesting, and their family's homes protesting.

BTW, his two brothers (Jaime and Adam) are in the local area too; I'm not sure of his sister.

Exactly!! My entire family came to the hospital as well as my husband's family. So that's just a cop out for the fact that they aren't this picture perfect family that their stans make them out to be.

What was shocking is that people were donating money?!? What the hell is that about, never seen it before. He’s just live streaming from Epcot and he’s thanking People as it pops up with an amount on the live chat. Is this a thing? Why would you do that?

I don't think Page Mr. Morrow does Super Chat. I know he has had fans who gave gifted him DVC stays because it was use or lose it with the points and they weren't able to go.

Yep, it's a thing. A few others do this all the time. Cory Meets World is one who gets endless superchat donations during live streams.

Something about Dev's live video today... they ran into a bunch of their fans inside the Land Pavillion. Dev was SO nice to them, took closer photos, and a girl asked him to sign his autograph book (lol). But, he struck me as so kind, though I do not know a lot about him. His GF (?) was holding the camera and people were asking her Qs. She and Dev were saying how she isn't comfortable on camera and that it's a travel and tourism vlog not really about her and what she is doing. It felt like a slight diss to Tim and Jen's videos.

Yea Prince Charming Dev had this whole month long cross country journey he was going to take a vlog last year. He was going to fund it through superchats and donations. He thought his fans would want to see him do that. He didn't get nearly as much as he thought he was going to. Not sure if he even went on a short trip. Forget how much he actually made.

Tim and Jenn stopped with the super chats after people figured out how well they do on YouTube. You still have the crazy stans that want to send them money and gifts to their PO Box so they can not open them for another 3 or 4 years.

while I dont understand why you would give money in super chats, I dont mind youtubers doing it. If the opportunity is there and people are so willing to part with their cash then that's up to them.

I've watched a few videos lately on how much youtube videos earn, and even viral videos in the millions dont earn mega bucks. I mean it's a decent number but not enough you could probably confidently get a mortgage on a half million pound house. Let alone the trackers small viewing numbers. I know they daily vlog so its probably a case of little amounts adding up over time but I still cant see how that alone can fund their lifestyle

I've tried to like Prince Charming Dev but he is so OTT he irritates me, plus the name alone is cringe.

Ahh thanks everyone, I wondered what the ‘superchat‘ that was talked about earlier in the thread was.

Seems a weird concept to me, but guess if they make easy money that way they will do it. I totally get the comp’d stuff by Disney/Universal, and the dvc stays but the straight out superchat cash just seems a bit....grabby

Maybe I’m getting old ( 35) but I just don’t get why you would give your hard earned money to others living their ‘best lives’ getting to ‘holiday’ everyday.
